Vance fires back after Harris criticizes his patriotism: ‘What the hell have you done?
Harris accused Vance of having loyalty “only to Trump, not to our country.”
By
GOP vice presidential candidate JD Vance fired back at Vice President Kamala Harris on Saturday after she questioned his loyalty to the United States over former President Donald Trump.
The tit for tat started when Harris, the presumptive Democratic nominee for president, posted a July 16 video saying Vance would be a “rubber stamp for [Trump’s] extreme agenda.”
Vance’s loyalty, Harris alleged, would be “only to Trump, not to our country.”
Vance responded at a rally in Minnesota, where he preceded Trump’s speech on Saturday, by highlighting his service in the U.S. Marine Corps and small business ownership while criticizing Harris’s handling of the border, Fox News reported.
“Now, I saw the other day Kamala Harris questioned my loyalty to this country. That’s the word she used; loyalty. And it’s an interesting word. Semper Fi: loyalty, because there is no greater sign of disloyalty to this country than what Kamala Harris has done at our southern border,” Vance told attendees at the joint Trump-Vance rally.
Vance reminded attendees of the July 13 attempt on Trump’s life. “My running mate took a bullet for this country. So my question to Kamala Harris is, what the hell have you done to question our loyalty to the United States of America?”
The remark elicited applause from the crowd, followed by Vance answering the question he posed. “The answer, my friends, is nothing.”
He then added, “So let’s send a message to the media. Let’s send a message to Kamala Harris. Let’s send a message to every hardworking patriot from Minnesota across the country. We are ready to have President Donald J. Trump back, and we’re going to work our tails off to make sure it happens.”
A Fox News poll released Friday has Trump trailing Harris in Minnesota by six points, 52% to 46%.

The Liberty Beacon Project is now expanding at a near exponential rate, and for this we are grateful and excited! But we must also be practical. For 7 years we have not asked for any donations, and have built this project with our own funds as we grew. We are now experiencing ever increasing growing pains due to the large number of websites and projects we represent. So we have just installed donation buttons on our websites and ask that you consider this when you visit them. Nothing is too small. We thank you for all your support and your considerations … (TLB)
