One of the world’s best Chun-Li players in Street Fighter 6 has just shared his Season 2 tier list.
Four-time Capcom Cup finalist Valmaster has released his latest tier chart for all of the current fighters in Season 2. This includes a placement for the latest DLC combatant, SNK’s own Terry Bogard.
Valmaster posted a video to YouTube in which he goes through the full process of creating this new Street Fighter 6 tier list. Unfortunately, the whole thing is in French, so unless you understand the language you won’t be getting too much from his explanations.
However, we do get to see the final chart in the video, and you can find it below. The categories here are easy enough to understand giving us a good idea of where Valmaster thinks everyone ranks in the current meta.
This Season 2 tier list is organized into five different categories. From best to worst, we have S+, S, A+, “Moins fort mais ok” which Google Translates to “less strong, but okay,” and finally what is essentially Null.
In the S+ rank, we see several of the usual suspects that we often see considered among the best in the game. At the very top we have Ed, who many are starting to believe might be #1 in the entire game, as well as other strong contenders in Ken, Akuma, and Cammy.
Just one rung beneath S+ we see an interesting pick in JP. The former top 3 candidate saw some heavy nerfs before being somewhat restored here in Season 2, and while some people do consider him pretty good this time around, it’s rare that we see him sitting among the top 10 due to just how many other strong characters exist right now.
Moving further down, Valmaster places his own main in the “less strong, but okay” category. Also in this tier rank we have Terry Bogard, who many players seem to feel similarly about right now.
