Life under Ruben Amorim seems to be falling into place, with Manchester United securing a 2-1 win over rivals Manchester City in their first Manchester derby of the season.
The victory not only marked Amorim’s first win over City as a United boss, but, also the first time a new United manager has beaten The Citizens on their first try since Sir Alex Ferguson.
That said, the club are still trying to fit into Amorim’s system, with the Portuguese manager routinely changing his starting line-up to try new options.
Now, the club are open to selling the majority of their squad to generate transfer funds for a new class of Red Devils, with a series of youngsters considered for the future of the club.
However, this doesn’t stop with the first team, with a huge focus of the recruitment team being on finding academy stars for long-term success.
Already United have signed Emmanuel Ziro from Cre8ive Football, a youngster who’s been tipped as one of the most exciting English wingers, coming through grassroots football.
Now, it appears that United have been scouting over the pond in the States, with a trial now confirmed for one of the MLS’ brightest talents.
