There is renewed rivalry amongst gangsters/cult groups in tertiary institutions in Calabar NEGROIDHAVEN can say for certain especially with the hacking to death of the 500L student of Electrical Electronics Engineering, simply identified as James; and the killing of another two yesterday.
James known as Jay Real on Facebook hails from Abi LGA with affinity to Ogoja who until his death was a student of Cross River University of Technology, CRUTECH Calabar campus. CRUTECH Press reported that ‘James, a 500-level student of the department of Electrical/ Electronic who was shot three times and didn’t die before they used axe to butcher him to death. The incidence happened today at the old Engineering block, Calabar Campus.’
Hours later the publisher of VoiceofYala informed on his Facebook profile, ‘Calabar Cult clash: Two more persons shot dead in Calabar South as cult clash intensifies…’
According to findings by this news outfit, the ongoing rivalry is reportedly between Klansmen and Axemen confraternities.

The Commissioner for Police in Cross River State Austin Agbonlahor when contacted on phone to confirm the death of the additional two alleged cultists yesterday by 9:51PM said: ‘I don’t know anything about that’. The death toll has increased to three. However, we can’t tell if the last two reportedly killed are of which gangster group.
