The University of Cross River (UNICROSS) has emerged victorious at the just concluded Science and Technology Innovation Challenge (STIC) funded by the Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB).
The Team DC Stove representing UNICROSS emerged victorious from the 6 out of 521 Teams from Nigerian Universities represented at the competition. By this victory, the team has qualified for the finals scheduled to hold in Bayelsa State.
Team DC Stove was led by the Director of Academic Planning, Prof. Babson Ajibade as faculty guide and Coach of Team DC Stove. Also represented at the challenge is Comr. Paul Okim of Electrical/Electronics Department and Ms Victoria Effiong of Visual Arts Department.
In a chat with UNICROSS Press, the team assured of adequate preparation for the finals saying “We shall prepare adequately to inscribe UNICROSS as a Research and Development giant in Nigeria”.
