After supporting and updating their game for basically over a decade, French Bread has now finally moved on to a sequel that keeps the crazy naming conventions.
Under Night In-Birth II Sys:Celes is now available in early access for eligible players.
At this time, it appears early access is still limited to user’s who’ve purchased the Deluxe Edition of UNI2 for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5, so Steam and Nintendo Switch players are probably going to remain waiting for the full release.
Servers should have gone live at 3 p.m. PST / 6 p.m. EST, so everything should be available to jump in and start having fun.
The apparent final chapter of Under Night features 24 main roster members including newcomers Kaguya, Tsurugi and Kuon, who seems to serve as the game’s boss character and can be unlocked through playing.

On top of that, UNI2 has also added new moves, mechanics and systems to every fighter as well as rollback netcode for the first time in the series though no cross-play it seems for now.
Everyone who pre-orders or purchases any version of Under Night II will receive the first Season Pass completely for free for the first few months, and this also discounts the Deluxe Edition by $10 as part of the promotion too.
The full release for Under Night In-Birth II is slated for January 24, 2024 at 3 p.m. PST.
