To call this Nigerian Governor “a man of the People” is no exaggeration.
Which Nigerian Governor or political office holder can do this in all sincerity and selflessness?
The answer is no doubt far fetched.
we are however not ignorant of the fact that there are some people in the corridors of power who hypocritically call for press conferences demanding praise singing for every little thing they do all in the guise to gain favours and votes from the masses.
People like this Governor is not in that list as far as I am concerned. His types are rare to especially in a nation like ours.
Our source gathered that the number one man in Ekiti state while on his way to a community known as Oke-Ako in Ekiti earlier this afternoon, did alight from his convoy to purchase cooked beans from a female seller.
The Governor as pictured above, disembarked from his Ivory tower and humbly resorted to the market place of the commoners.
This gesture is no doubt a symbol of a leader with a servant and selfless heart.
The Governor after a interaction with the beans seller (Iya elewa) did help himself with some of her beans and also prayed for her.
