Although Sports Illustrated has been at the game for quite a bit longer, Udon Entertainment has certainly made a name for themselves in the pinup business with the ladies of the Street Fighter series.
The comic book and collectibles company recently unveiled a handful of new sexy swimsuit special editions and covers that Street Fighter fans will enjoy.
There’s now two volumes of a Street Fighter Swimsuit Special compilation with hardcovers and gold foil prints.
Volume one features bikini Chun-Li on the cover and contains the Street Fighter Swimsuit and Pin-Up Specials from 2016 through 2019 totaling 136 pages.
The second volume has Juri lounging on a beach chair as the cover art also by Reiq covering the Swimsuit and Sci-Fi & Fantasy Specials from 2020 through 2023 with 184 pages.
Both of these books are priced at $50 each and up for pre-order with a scheduled release date for June 2024. They apparently also contain rare variant covers and “never-before-seen rough concepts.”
These others aren’t actual Swimsuit Specials but rather special swimsuit covers for their actual comics.
Street Fighter Masters: Kimberly #1 features the lady ninjas from Street Fighter in bikinis with Kimberly, Ibuki and Maki with cover art from Tovio Rogers as an online exclusive for $50.
There’s also a regular Ninja Gals cover of the trio in their standard attire for $20 though the regular editions can be picked up for $5.
Finally, the upcoming Street Fighter Masters: Akuma VS Ryu #1 has two special swimsuit covers featuring Sakura and Ryu choking on his noodles.
The first has Sakura in a one-piece suit for $20 while the sunburned bikini Sakura cover is priced at $50 with only 250 copies being produced.
They’re scheduled to release later this month as Udon store exclusives.
As for the game itself, Street Fighter 6 doesn’t have any swimsuit costumes yet, but this new merchandise may offer a sneak peek at what they could end up being.
Udon hasn’t revealed their 2024 issue of the Street Fighter Swimsuit Special, but that’ll likely be shown off with its various covers in the coming months. Until then, you can check out the new covers and featured art below.
