CALABAR – The University of Calabar Teaching Hospital has placed a call for internship in 6 positions with the medical facility.
In a notice dated 10th July and signed by the director of administration, Mr Ededet Eyoma said intending candidates must be holders of relevant qualifications applicable to their various disciplines. He also added that the possession of provisional license to practice from respective regulatory bodies is mandatory please.
According to the statement the Facility is open to engage interns from the following medical fields; Medical Laboratory Science, Physiotherapy, Dental Technology, Dental Therapy, Radiography, Pharmacy, Nursing, Optometry
Interested candidates are to forward a written application with relevant credentials and curriculum vitae to the office of the Director of Administration on or before Thursday, 31" August, 2023.
The institution also revealed that a written examination shall for intending candidates has been scheduled for 9″ September, 2023, by 12n00n at the University of Calabar international Conference Centre. Stating that only shortlisted candidates will participate in the examination.
The advert also warned that the Hospital has not mandated anybody to act on its behalf, or will officers be expected to extort money from intending applicants, except the medical examination fees payable by successful candidates thereafter. Hence, applicants are advised to beware of scammers.
