Two Chibok Girls who escaped Boko Haram captivity graduate from US university

Two Chibok girls, Joy Bishira and Lydia Pogu who escaped Boko Haram captivity have graduated from a United States university.

Just like the other 276 girls, Bishira and Pogu’s story is defiance against cruelty.

The two Chibok teenage girls were captured in 2014 and escaped Boko Haram captivity by leaping from a moving vehicle that took others to the Sambisa Forest in Borno State.

After bearing the risk and taking their chances, Bishira and Pogu have now graduated from the Southeastern University in Florida, USA.

They knew their governments would fail them just as they have failed others, so they decided to take things into their hands and gave life a go-go better.

Since 2014, their mates are still in Boko Haram captivity while Joy Bishira and Lydia Pogu are graduates from the United States of America.

The dreams and future of the remaining 276 Chibok girls have been dashed because of a failed government – a government that only cares about its pockets and belly.
