It’s been a couple of weeks since the latest patch for Mortal Kombat 1. Things are beginning to settle down in Mortal Kombat 1’s meta just in time for Omni-Man to be released as a DLC fighter.
As such, Tweedy has released a new tier list for Mortal Kombat 1. All 23 fighters have been divided up into the S tier, A+ tier, A tier, A- tier, and B tier groups.
Baraka was a clear contender for top 5 in the previous version of Mortal Kombat 1. However, he ended up being heavily nerfed with the latest update. Needless to say, he’s been dropped down into the A tier category of Tweedy’s tier list.
Tweedy describes Baraka as being “not solid, but good” during his video explanation. Though Baraka still has the potential to win tournaments, Baraka users will generally have to hit their opponents more times than they get hit to win now due to the damage nerfs. Despite the problems with his string gaps and projectile, he still has a tricky neutral to contend with.
The strongest characters in the game right now are said to be Johnny Cage, Kenshi, Ashrah, Raiden, Liu Kang, and Kitana. Meanwhile, Sub-Zero is all by himself in B tier, depicting him as the overall worst character in Mortal Kombat 1.
