5 time Champions League winner Casemiro has struggled with injuries all season which has understandably affected his form.
The Brazilian destroyer seems to be on his last legs which has put some questions over his future at Old Trafford, especially with the looming rebuild.
Reports coming in from Turkey, in particular Turkish publication askam are now linking Casemiro to two Turkish clubs.
One of these clubs is Galatasaray.
The Turkish giants are set for elections at the very top and current president Dursun Özbek is expected to enter the elective congress to be held on May 25 as the only candidate.
It is reported that his first order of business is offering a new 2-year contract to coach Okan Buruk if he is re-elected as president.
The report goes on to clearly state that after meeting the president to agree on the contract negotiations, Buruk set his sights on midfield reinforcements for his side and Casemiro is top of his list.
According to the the report, Casemiro is also on Fenerbahçe’s transfer plans.
INEOS have been planning on reducing the current United wage bill as well as overall squad age which means players who are above 30 and on hefty salaries may be let go come the summer.
Casemiro falls in both of these brackets and these Turkish giants will be looking to pounce.
After the contract renewal, Galatasaray’s management will set their sights on Casemiro as the first signing.
