Ruben Amorim is deciding his line-up at Manchester United, assessing how his new class of players work in his system.
Luke Shaw and Amad Diallo have already been tipped for being given a chance at claiming the flanks as their own under Amorim.
The Portuguese manager has also been reported as being excited to work with Leny Yoro now that he is returning from injury.
However, there are some players Amorim has already decided do not fit into his system.
Before even stepping foot in Carrington, Amorim had already highlighted four players that he did not see fitting into his plans.
The unfortunate foursome; Casemiro, Christian Eriksen, Antony and Victor Lindelof.
Already the club are coming up with plans to replace the four, scouting Europe for potential alternatives.
In midfield, to replace Casemiro and Eriksen, the trio of Sverre Halseth Nypan, Chris Rigg and Angel Gomes are being targeted. Whilst the club would need to spend on securing Nypan and Rigg, Gomes could be secured on a free transfer, fitting in with United’s limited transfer budget going forward.
In defence, United still haven’t given up on Jarrad Branthwaite, who could be a great replacement for Lindelof.
Then for Antony, the club are looking to Sporting once more, targeting Geovany Quenda, with the Portuguese club expecting to receive an offer from United for him.
However, a replacement for Antony might be needed sooner than planned.
Besiktas plans loan move for Antony
New reports from Turkish outlet Aspor have claimed that Besiktas are keen on agreeing on a loan move for Antony this January.
Besiktas are currently fifth in the Super Lig, only a point behind Eyupspor, and 18th in the Europa League currently set for the Round of 16.
However, the Turkish side is looking for more attacking firepower, wanting to bring in the Brazilian winger.
Anton has been out of favour for some time at United and despite being bought for £80 million (€95 million), has never really justified the price tag.
A loan move could help the winger restart his career, proving his worth to Amorim or helping him secure a permanent move in the summer.
