President-elect Donald Trump and his transition team released the first publication of the “Road to 47” newsletter on Tuesday to counter mainstream media and the political establishment’s negative reporting regarding the presidential transition process and Trump’s cabinet nominees.
According to The Daily Wire, the Trump transition team is planning on using the “Road to 47” newsletter as a way of providing “transparent communication” with the American people regarding the president-elect’s plans and policies for his upcoming administration.
The Daily Wire, which obtained the first “Road to 47” newsletter prior to its release on Tuesday, reported that the Trump transition team’s goal is to provide Americans with accurate information regarding the transition process between the Biden-Harris administration and the Trump-Vance administration amid mainstream media’s negative reporting against Trump.

“For far too long, the American people have been kept in the dark by bureaucrats and elites in Washington, DC,” Karoline Leavitt, a Trump spokeswoman who has been nominated to serve as Trump’s press secretary, said in a statement to The Daily Wire. “The Trump-Vance Transition newsletter will deliver top news, updates on the transition process, details on President Trump’s brilliant Cabinet picks, and video highlights.”
Tuesday’s “Road to 47” newsletter highlighted Softbank CEO Masayoshi Son’s commitment to invest $100 billion into the U.S. economy following the president-elect’s victory over Vice President Kamala Harris in the 2024 election.
“President Donald J. Trump is Making America Wealthy Again before he even takes office,” the newsletter stated. “Yesterday, the CEO of SoftBank announced an $100 billion investment into the U.S. economy, which is set to create at least 100,000 jobs.”
The Trump transition team newsletter also featured stories from multiple news outlets regarding the president-elect’s cabinet nominees and other noteworthy stories regarding the transition process.
