Taylor Swift has spilled the beans on the real essence of ‘The Tortured Poets Department’ songs. It’s not something you hear every day, but Travis Kelce’s coach was there to witness it.
Matt Nagy, the offensive coordinator for Kansas City Chiefs, was the one who shared this. He’s spent enough time with the NFL tight end to get why his bond with Taylor Swift is so unique.
Matt gave credit where it’s due. He told KCTV5 in an interview on April 22, “Both of them, they’re big, they’re powerful, but they’re humble too.” He was talking about their talents, be it in football or singing.
Now, Matt’s never met Taylor in person. But he did say that the team is thrilled to have her as part of their family. He thinks her being part of the Chiefs kingdom is a “cool story.”
“It’s definitely rare for sure,” Matt said. He was talking about the trio – Taylor Swift, Kelce, and Patrick [Mahomes].
At the end of the day, Matt, who’s 45, just wants the sparks to keep flying between the couple. They made their relationship public in September. He’s rooting for them, no doubt about it.
