G’day, Travis Kelce! Welcome to the land down under. The Kansas City Chiefs tight end has officially touched down in Sydney, as reported by local media on Feb. 22. He’s here to cheer on his girlfriend, pop sensation Taylor Swift, who’s set to light up Accor Stadium with her Eras Tour this weekend.
Travis is just returning the favor. Remember when Taylor jetted from Tokyo to Las Vegas for the Chiefs’ Super Bowl game against the San Francisco 49ers on Feb. 11? Yeah, that’s love.
“Thanks for coming,” Travis was heard telling Taylor. She had just performed in Tokyo the night before. “Thanks for making it halfway across the world. You’re the best, babe. The absolute best.”
Travis had hinted at a trip to Australia during the Super Bowl weekend. He told reporters, “I’d love to experience down under.” Well, here he is.
Taylor’s concerts? They’re special for the couple. Sparks first flew when Travis attended her Eras Tour stop in Kansas City in July. It’s a bit of a love story, really.
Travis couldn’t get backstage to give Taylor a friendship bracelet during that concert. But, he called her out on his podcast later. And the rest, as they say, is history.
