Travis Kelce’s life took an unexpected turn when he got entangled with Taylor Swift. The Chiefs player still finds it hard to believe how things fell into place for him, six months after his relationship with the “Karma” singer was revealed.
He expressed his bewilderment in an episode of New Heights aired on April 10. “I’m still trying to figure out how I pulled it off, given she’s not a sports fan,” he confessed. His words were laced with a hint of surprise and a dash of humor, “I mean, how the heck did I manage that?”
Enter Dave Burd, better known as Lil Dicky, the guest on that episode. He playfully chimed in with an answer. “Well, you made it happen because you used your multimedia platform to call her out,” he pointed out.
Travis couldn’t deny it. “Yeah, that’s exactly how I did it,” he admitted, a grin spreading across his face.
The conversation took a nostalgic turn as they reminisced about a particular episode of New Heights. It was July 2023, and Travis had cheekily called out Taylor for ignoring him during her Kansas City stop on the Eras Tour. He had planned to give her a friendship bracelet with his number on it, but she blew him off.
