Key responsibilities:
Transporter Onboarding
Transport Planning (Booking and Route Allocation)
Transporter Monitoring
Transport Query Management
Reconciliations (Transport and Diesel)
Road Transport Reporting (Daily, Weekly, and Monthly)
Monitor WhatsApp groups and respond in real time
Inform problem/issues to the relevant department or transporters
Ensure scanning issues are resolved on Transport Management System
Ensure that communication is maintained with all transporters and staff
Coordinate, monitor and record all communication from various sites
Create and maintain register on all issues per site, transporter, FEL downtimes, etc.
Report to coal ops on extended waiting periods at the port, weighbridges, mines, etc.
Be the first contact in case of emergencies
Inform relevant key stakeholders within the company of emergencies
Ensure ticket system is maintained and updated at all times
Minimum requirements:
A Grade 12 (Matric)
Diploma/Degree in Supply Chain/related is preferred
2years experience in a logistics or transportation environment
Strong computer skills and knowledge of logistics software systems
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to work shifts
A valid drivers licence and own transport is preferred
