Arsenal have canceled midfielder Miguel Azeez’s loan deal with Portsmouth and brought back the player to the Emirates.
Express UK reports that the Gunners recalled the midfielder halfway through his season-long loan move.
The Gunners are currently facing a midfield crisis and are not also happy with the lack of playing time for the player.
Azeez made ten appearances for Pompey in total across all competitions, eight of which he started.

Also, Granit Xhaka is set to miss upcoming matches against Tottenham and Liverpool, having been red carded in the Carabao Cup semi final clash against the Reds on Thursday.
Azeez made his senior debut for Arsenal against Dundalk in December 2020.
