Tottenham Hotspur have made a late enquiry for Manchester United winger Alejandro Garnacho as they look to bolster their attacking options before the transfer window closes.
Spurs’ pursuit of reinforcements has been ongoing throughout January, with the club actively searching for a winger to strengthen Ange Postecoglou’s squad.
After missing out on Bayern Munich’s Mathys Tel, attention has swiftly turned to Garnacho, a player they have admired for some time.

Previous reports suggested United were only interested in a permanent sale, setting a valuation of around £60 million for Garnacho.
Despite his growing importance at Old Trafford, United have remained open to offers, particularly as they attempt to navigate financial constraints while reinforcing other areas of the squad.
Garnacho’s future has been uncertain in recent weeks, with both Chelsea and Napoli expressing serious interest in acquiring his services.
Chelsea were previously considered the frontrunners, with reports indicating that they were preparing a formal bid.
Meanwhile, Napoli had multiple offers rejected, as the Italian side eventually pivoted towards a move for Borussia Dortmund’s Karim Adeyemi instead.
With the window nearing its final stages, Tottenham are now hoping to capitalize on the uncertainty surrounding Garnacho’s future.
The club’s attack has been severely impacted by injuries, with Dominic Solanke, Brennan Johnson, Wilson Odobert, and Timo Werner all sidelined.

While Spurs initially focused on Tel, their £50 million agreement with Bayern collapsed during personal negotiations.
This setback has led them to accelerate their interest in Garnacho, who has continued to perform well for United despite the speculation surrounding his future.
According to Daily Mail, the north London club initially asked about a loan deal for the 20-year-old, though it remains unclear whether United would sanction a temporary move.
The Argentine winger has made 121 appearances for United since his senior debut in 2022.
His recent form has been impressive, including a strong showing off the bench in United’s recent 2-0 victory over FCSB.
Now, with Spurs joining the race, discussions between the two clubs have officially begun. However, it remains to be seen whether Tottenham can reach an agreement that satisfies both United and the player.
