Manchester United have already managed to sign a number of impressive defenders this summer, with Leny Yoro, Matthijs de Ligt and Noussair Mazraoui joining the Red devils. However, the club have now been offered a Champions League winning defender to add to their ranks.
Recent reports suggest that United are finished with signings this summer, except for their midfield. The club are still trying to secure the signing of Manuel Ugarte from PSG, whilst they’ve had a €50 million bid for Ederson rejected by Atalanta.

However, recent news suggest that a Spanish side have offered LaLiga title winning star to both United and Spurs.
Barcelona offer star defender to United
The extent of Barcelona’s salary cap struggles are unknown at the moment, however the club are trying to complete a series of sales to save money before the transfer window closes.
Midfielder Ilkay Gundogan has been offered back to his former club, Manchester City as a way of easing the financial pressures of the club. However, he’s not the only star being offered as a Premier League return.
Spanish publications, Sport, has reported that former Chelsea defender Andreas Christensen has been offered to both Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur.
The Denmark international is being valued at £21.2 million (€25 million), with both Premier League sides interested in the offer. With two years left on his contract, there’s no real urgency for Barca to offload the star, being able to use this window to test if there is any interest in the centre-back.
The consistency that Christensen provides as a defender is vital to the success of any defensive line up, with proven experience in the Premier League as well as LaLiga making him a great option for any top team.
However, it’s unknown at this time if United will be making an offer, given their focus on Ugarte and needing to make a number of sales in the next 8 days.
