There was total gridlock, today, at the Odukpani end of the Calabar-Ikom highway in the evening.
Eye witness account has it that the logjam was caused by an altercation between Nigerian soldiers and a petrol tanker driver when a soldier allegely punctured his his tyres as he “blocked” their way on the bad spot at the Odukpani junction end of the road.
