  • Tucker Carlson Sits Down with Conor McGregor

ER Editor: We preface the interview between Tucker Carlson and Conor McGregor below with these tweets from Tuesday, April 14. The interview was released this past Friday, April 18 —

Reporting on the night of April 15 for Gript.ie —

    ***

Intelligent commentary today from Mark Atwood (he lives in Ireland) on people remarking that the interview took place in a Masonic hall. Worth our time —

    ********

    NOTES

This interview was a crystal clear attack on a powerful, globalist-serving minority in the Irish government (or governments everywhere) who have been undermining the public’s concerns and needs for a very long time.

Themes that got emphasized were globalist misuse of public money, overspending of same, funnelling resources to migrants at the expense of the local people, &etc.  McGregor is a business owner, and a responsible entrepreneurial theme as well as ‘common sense’ was sounded throughout.

    ‘It’s a free-for-all with public wealth’

Tucker: The Irish are an island people, not colonizers. There are no national crimes to atone for. It’s clear from public advertising that indigenous people are nowhere to be found. Migration is at REPLACEMENT levels, which is a ‘treason’ on the people.

McGregor can’t actually run for president as things stand because approval from 4 county councils, dominated by established political parties, has to be obtained, or 20 nominations from ‘Oireachtas’, who are political party affiliates. This isn’t a democracy, notes Tucker.

Ordinary Irish people can no longer afford a normal family life of having several children; housing is unaffordable. Yet public money is given to migrants. McGregor itemizes how migrants get subsidized for many things that local people have to pay full fare for.

TC: It is an attempt to erase the people, to genocide them.

McGregor is fundraising to be able to run for President. The Irish-American diaspora has some donors with deep pockets apparently.

Mentioned: the EU Migration Pact that compulsorily distributes migrants around the continent. Ireland (not Northern Ireland) is in the EU. Religion: Ireland has been a Catholic country for many centuries. State media: that is ‘North Korean’.

Tucker got to say some bold things, making Conor look moderate, upbeat and bridge-building by comparison: ‘Ireland, you’re at war’; ‘Why doesn’t someone overthrow the government?’; ‘It’s a genocide of the people.’ And ‘you’re a decent man’.

TC: ‘Is it becoming more spiritually aware?’ CM:  ‘It’s spiritual warfare going on’. We at ER couldn’t agree more.

The Irish election must take place on or before November 11 of this year (11/11 for the gematria people). McGregor will keep requesting to participate within the allotted time frame.

From 6 days ago, see this report. Since McGregor’s presidential bid is unlikely, they won’t allow the Dublin mayor’s position to be directly elected by the people in case McGregor should decide to run: ‘Unlike the presidency, a directly elected mayor would wield significant powers, control a substantial budget, and have the ability to raise local taxes’

Government ‘shelving Dublin directly elected mayor plan over Conor McGregor fears’

  • CSO Reveals Bandit Strongholds In Sokoto, Urges Decisive Military Action

A prominent civil society organisation in Sokoto State, the Movement for Social Justice and Good Governance, has revealed key bandit strongholds in the state and called for decisive military action.

The group, through its coordinator, Basharu Guyawaz, told the media that Gwandi and Tsaika are some areas that the bandits and kidnappers are using to launch their operations.

He urged the military to launch a comprehensive operation to eliminate the bandits hiding in places like the eastern parts of Isa and Sabon Birni Local Government Areas.

Guyawa said his team has been monitoring the activities of criminal gangs and the efforts of security forces to flush them out.

According to Guyawa, the ongoing military offensives have recorded significant successes, particularly in the Gundumi forests stretching toward Kuyan-Bana and Gwauro Hills. He confirmed that notorious kingpins such as Kachalla Chomo and Kachalla Haru are under pressure as troops dismantle their hideouts.

He, however, urged the security agencies not to relent but to advance toward the Maberaya forest and Fakai axis to fully dominate the eastern border corridor. “This eastern axis, from Manawa and Gwandi to Tsaika, must be cleared and secured,” he said.

The activist also advised that the offensive should extend through Gatawa to Zango and link up with Burkusuma up to the Niger Republic border.

“If this is done thoroughly, not even bandit warlords like Bello Turji or any other criminal will find a safe haven in Eastern Isa and Sabon Birni,” he declared.

Guyawa said his suggestions were being presented to the relevant authorities in the spirit of national security improvement, rather than criticism.

The call for a comprehensive military operation comes amid growing concerns about the activities of bandits in the region, which have led to the loss of lives and property.

The activist’s proposal is aimed at ensuring the security of the area and preventing the bandits from causing further harm.

  • 77-year-old Nigerian Uber driver shot and k!lled while picking up passenger in US

Philadelphia police are searching for suspects accused of k!lling a 77-year-old Nigerian Uber driver, Olatunji Bolaji and shooting a 22-year-old man who he was picking up.

Police said the shooting happened outside the Byblos restaurant and hookah lounge in the 100 block of 18th Street at around 2 a.m. Wednesday, April 16, 2025.

“It appears that right before the shots were fired, there was some sort of physical altercation,” said Chief Inspector Scott Small.

The SUV the victims were in crashed around the corner on Chestnut Street, near the shooting.

Police said it all started as the 22-year-old was leaving the hookah lounge. Surveillance video being used as part of a police investigation shows the 22-year-old hugging people goodbye in front of a black SUV when two suspects run towards them

As he was getting into the backseat of an SUV driven by a 77-year-old Uber driver, police said a Jeep Grand Cherokee pulled up behind them, two males got out and started fighting with the younger man.

Police said at least one of the men from the Jeep fired four shots.

Investigators believe a bullet went through the headrest and struck the Uber driver, who was identified as Olatunji Bolaji, of Norristown.

Bolaji was still able to drive a short distance, turning onto Chestnut Street before crashing into a light pole.

“A 77-year-old male was half in the driver’s seat and his upper body was outside, lying on the street,” Small said. “He was suffering from at least one gunshot wound to the back of his head.

Bolaji was pronounced d3ad at the scene.

His family tells Action News they are heartbroken, adding that he was just a father doing his job to make a living.

“Our hearts break for the driver’s family and loved ones in the wake of this devastating loss. We’ve reached out to police to offer our support as they work to bring those responsible for this heinous act of violence to justice,” said a spokesperson for Uber.

The 22-year-old who was in the backseat was shot in the arm, stomach and chest. He is listed in critical condition at an area hospital

Police said witnesses got a look at the getaway vehicle, described as a newer model-dark colored Jeep Grand Cherokee.

“Possible Massachusetts tags. We’re not positive, but it appeared that it was Massachusetts tags because there was a license plate in the front and the back of that vehicle,” Small said.

Police say witnesses last saw the suspect’s car on Sansom Street.

Another rideshare driver said the drivers who work at night wait for bars to close.

“I’m so sorry that somebody had to lose his life over this. I just hope it’s not one of the guys that I used to talk to,” said the fellow rideshare driver.

Fabian Romero, who is with the Independent Drivers Guild, which represents ride-share drivers nationwide, says safety is a main concern.

“Right now, we’re forgotten. Nobody sees the things we live day by day. The problem we have day by day,” said Romero.

Romero says they’ll continue to advocate for better safety protocols to protect drivers, as well as honor Bolaji and his family.

“We support them. If anything we can do, we’re going to do it. We’re going to fight with the companies to try to get a better system or a better way to make a living for us,” he said.

People who live and work in the area say the gun violence is disturbing.

“I woke up to it and it was the first thing I saw on my phone. There’s never a dull moment on this street, you know,” said Mino Brone, who lives and works near Chestnut.

“I think it’s devastating. A lot of people do take Ubers back and forth, especially because of the trains. I feel like you should be safe, especially in Rittenhouse, because it is a safe area. But it’s really sad,” said Michelle Kao, who owns a spa on Chestnut.

  • TRADE WAR: Trump tariff hikes forces IMF to revise world economic growth projection downward

The International Monetary Fund (IMF), has disclosed that it would revise the world economic growth projections downward next week when the World Economic Outlook is released, only stopping short of predicting a recession.

The Fund’s Managing Director, Kristalina Georgieva made this known in an address titled “Toward a Better Balanced and More Resilient World Economy” delivered during the 2025 Spring Meetings of the World Bank on Thursday, April 17, 2025.

She noted that the Fund would evaluate the cost of the ongoing global trade war in the outlook while raising an alarm that global market resilience is being tested again, fueled by the recent tariff hikes imposed by President Donald Trump of the United States.

“When countries put up obstacles in the form of tariff and nontariff barriers, the flow diverts. Some sectors in some countries may be flooded by cheap imports; others may see shortages. Trade goes on, but disruptions incur costs” she noted.

She added that the Fund will quantify these costs in its new World Economic Outlook, to be released early next week.

“In it, our new growth projections will include notable markdowns, but not recession. We will also see markups to the inflation forecasts for some countries”.

“Six months ago, in this very place, I spoke of low growth and high debt. But I also spoke of resilience—countries surviving large shocks thanks to strong fundamentals and agile policies.

“This resilience is being tested again—by the reboot of the global trading system. Financial market volatility is up. And trade policy uncertainty is literally off the charts” she began.

She however, advised that it is time to respond wisely.

“And it is a call to respond wisely. A better balanced, more resilient world economy is within reach. We must act to secure it”.

Delving into the issues, Georgieva warned that trade tensions are like a pot that was bubbling for a long time and is now boiling over.

“To a large extent, what we see is the result of an erosion of trust—trust in the international system, and trust between countries.

“Global economic integration has lifted vast numbers of people out of poverty and made the world as a whole better off.

“But not everyone benefitted. Communities were hollowed out by jobs going overseas. Wages were repressed by the growing availability of low-cost labor.

“Prices went up when global supply chains were interrupted. Many blame the international economic system for the perceived unfairness in their lives.

“Trade distortions—tariff and nontariff barriers—have fed negative perceptions of a multilateral system seen to have failed to deliver a level playing field” she lamented.

  • Gain-of-Function Ban Nears as White House Confirms Lab Leak Origin

If you type COVID.gov into your web browser, it will take you to a new official White House webpage that reaffirms what we’ve known for years:

    THE ORIGIN

“The Proximal Origin of SARS-CoV-2” publication — which was used repeatedly by public health officials and the media to discredit the lab leak theory — was prompted by Dr. Fauci to push the preferred narrative that COVID-19 originated naturally.

    1.

The virus possesses a biological characteristic that is not found in nature.

    2.

Data shows that all COVID-19 cases stem from a single introduction into humans. This runs contrary to previous pandemics where there were multiple spillover events.

    3.

Wuhan is home to China’s foremost SARS research lab, which has a history of conducting gain-of-function research (gene altering and organism supercharging) at inadequate biosafety levels.

    4.

Wuhan Institute of Virology (WIV) researchers were sick with COVID-like symptoms in the fall of 2019, months before COVID-19 was discovered at the wet market.

    5.

By nearly all measures of science, if there was evidence of a natural origin it would have already surfaced. But it hasn’t.

In my opinion, the best part of this page is that they acknowledge the suppression and censorship of life-saving information:

    COVID-19 MISINFORMATION:

Public health officials often mislead the American people through conflicting messaging, knee-jerk reactions, and a lack of transparency. Most egregiously, the federal government demonized alternative treatments and disfavored narratives, such as the lab leak theory, in a shameful effort to coerce and control the American people’s health decisions.

When those efforts failed, the Biden Administration resorted to “outright censorship—coercing and colluding with the world’s largest social media companies to censor all COVID-19-related dissent.”

This development comes as a widely circulating Daily Caller article reports:

President Donald Trump could sign a sweeping executive order banning gain-of-function research — research that makes viruses more dangerous in the lab — as soon as May 6.

The executive order will take a broad strokes approach, banning research amplifying the infectivity or pathogenicity of any virulent and replicable pathogen, according to the source, who requested anonymity to speak candidly about the anticipated executive action.

We can only hope that this is indeed true, as it would represent a critical step in preventing another man-made pandemic and a major win for humanity.

Unfortunately, the new COVID.gov webpage fails to mention the catastrophic fallout from the COVID-19 mRNA injections. The next step should be to acknowledge the largest mass casualty event in American history since the Civil War — so we can finally begin to reverse the immense damage inflicted on millions of innocent people.

  • Bring Nigeria ‘Down From Cross Of Suffering’, Bishop Kukah Urges Tinubu

Bishop Matthew Hassan Kukah of the Catholic Diocese of Sokoto has called on President Bola Tinubu to bring down the country from the cross of suffering and afflictions that have befallen our country in the last few years.

The Catholic Bishop made this call on Sunday in his Easter message for 2025.

He described the Easter period as an important event in the history of Christianity

“It is the season of the Cross, the season of Christ’s triumph over death. This triumph was marked by the blind passion of those who crucified innocence.

“I am therefore using the metaphor of the cross to draw attention to the sufferings These sufferings have been marked by a culture of brutality and savagery never witnessed in the history of our dear country. Taken together, they have placed our country outside the purveyor of human civilization”.

According to him the innocent citizens are kidnapped and held under the most inhuman conditions everyday while a dark pall of death hangs languidly from north to south.

He said It is impossible to find a home, a family, or a community that has not been caught in the cusp of this savagery and the country is reaching a breaking point.

Bishop Kukah said that the nation is gradually becoming a huge national morgue, therefore the need for a greater sense of urgency, hastened to bring the country down from this cross of evil.

The Bishop acknowledges that while the current administration did not create this crisis, it bears the responsibility to address it. Adding that the pervasive culture of cynicism and hopelessness among citizens is a testament to the urgent need for renewed hope and effective governance.

“Now is the time to rekindle and renew that hope,” he said, emphasizing the importance of faith in overcoming adversity.

“We are in a dilemma now, and the question is simple: is the persistence of the insecurity a statement of the lack of capacity of our men and women in uniform, or is it evidence that those at the top are reaping the fruits of funding their own war machine?”

“Allowing this insecurity to persist will undermine all forms of goodwill that this or any government in Nigeria espouses. We have all the ingredients to create a toxic mix of violence that can spin out of control.

He lamented on how frustration has penetrated every spectrum of the society especially as the government and its security agencies seem to have largely become spectators in the dance of death that has overtaken the country.

The bishop reminded the Christian faithfuls that the resurrection of Jesus equips Christians to face life’s challenges with confidence.

” At Easter, we must remember that the law of the Lord is written in our hearts (Rom2:15). The structural deformities, the iniquities and corruption of our country are not an excuse for us to let down our guard.

“See We are the light of the world, a city set on a hill. We are equipped with the light of Christ to drive out the darkness that threatens to engulf our country. Let us collectively renew our commitment and hope for building a society after the mind of our creator.”

  • Suspended Sen Akpoti-Uduaghan cries out after armed attack on family home

Suspended Senator representing Kogi Central, Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, has raised alarm over an attack on her family home in Obeiba-Ihima, Kogi State, calling on the Inspector-General of Police to urgently reinstate her withdrawn security aides.

In a statement released by her media office on Thursday, Akpoti-Uduaghan revealed that suspected gunmen targeted the ancestral residence, originally owned by her grandfather, while her younger brother was in town with contractors to inspect proposed constituency project sites.

“The unknown gunmen assumed I was in town and attacked my family’s house that night,” she said. “Thankfully, the civil defence team and community members responded promptly and chased them off.”

According to the senator, no lives were lost in the incident, but the property sustained damage. A formal complaint has since been filed with the police area command in Kogi State.

The lawmaker expressed concern over the deteriorating security around her, linking the attack to her suspension from the Senate and the subsequent withdrawal of her official security on March 6. She urged the authorities to take swift action to prevent future threats.

Akpoti-Uduaghan has been at the centre of a tense political standoff following a confrontation with Senate President Godswill Akpabio over a controversial seating arrangement, which she claimed was intentionally designed to undermine her. She further accused Akpabio of retaliating against her for allegedly rejecting his sexual advances, a claim she made publicly on national television and later took to a United Nations forum, accusing the Senate leadership of political persecution.

Her suspension from the National Assembly was accompanied by salary cuts and the loss of official protection, actions she has described as punitive and unjust.

The Senate, however, maintains that her suspension was the result of repeated breaches of legislative decorum, including refusal to adhere to seating instructions, speaking out of turn, and general misconduct. Chairperson of the House Committee on Women Affairs and Social Development, Hon. Kafilat Ogbara, emphasized that the disciplinary measures had no link to the sexual harassment allegations.

The political conflict has further deepened, with Akpoti-Uduaghan, Senate President Akpabio, and former Kogi State Governor Yahaya Bello all filing petitions accusing one another of involvement in an alleged assassination plot. While the senator accused both men of plotting to eliminate her, Akpabio and Bello have denied the claims and urged the police to prosecute her for defamation.

Despite the mounting tensions, Akpoti-Uduaghan insists that her resolve to serve her constituents remains firm.

“My commitment to Kogi Central and the Nigerian people is unshaken,” she said. “But no public servant should have to face violence or intimidation for doing their job.”

The senator urged the public to remain calm and support efforts to seek justice and uphold democratic values.

By 05:48 a.m. on Sunday, emergency responders had rescued 13 victims alive, while five bodies—three women and two adult men—were recovered from the rubble.

Rescue operations remain ongoing as multiple emergency units continue combing through the debris.

The Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA), disclosed that safety measures have been activated and the affected area has been cordoned off to allow for secure rescue operations.

The agency also confirmed the deployment of both heavy and light rescue equipment, including excavators, payloaders, concrete cutters, spreaders, and chains.

Authorities have yet to release the identities of the deceased as investigations into the cause of the collapse continue.

THE WHISTLER reports that this incident comes just days after two adult males were rescued alive on Sunday from the debris of a one-storey building under construction that collapsed in the Idumota area of the state.

That incident occurred on Agarawu Street, off Aroloya Central Mosque, near the Idumota Bus Stop on Lagos Island.

Similarly, in March, a building under construction in Lekki also collapsed, with at least 14 individuals rescued and taken to the hospital. Unfortunately, two victims were later recovered dead.
