Mr. Jad Adam, an extraordinary fashion designer, has recently taken the world by storm with his latest collection, “Queen of Palmyra.” His creations are not just garments; they are vibrant expressions of his cultural heritage and the deep love he holds for his native Syria. With an intuitive creative spirit that draws inspiration from the enchanting colors and poetry that transcend Damascus, his beloved capital, Jad Adam weaves together a tapestry of magic, love, and beauty in every piece.
Each dress in the collection is a testament to the noble fabrics that adorn it. With silks, pearls, embroidery, and diamonds meticulously incorporated, these gowns exude an air of elegance and grandeur. With a touch that resonates with a Parisian flair, Jad Adam’s unique style illuminates each ceremonial collection, leaving onlookers breathless.
The Queen of Palmyra collection takes us on an initiatory journey, tracing the path of a Syrian woman who embarks on a voyage of self-discovery across Asia in search of inner serenity. From childhood dreams of emulating Empress Sissi’s extravagant balls to a rebellious teenage phase embodying the spirit of an Italian Madonna, her story unfolds. Ultimately, she blossoms into a woman of strength, finding true love amidst the romantic allure of Paris.
Jad Adam’s designs pay homage to the individuality of every woman. With each creation being one-of-a-kind, his dresses beautifully reflect the uniqueness of their wearers. Whether it’s an evening gown, a wedding dress, or a meticulously crafted haute couture ensemble, wearing a Jad Adam creation is a testament to the magnificence and power of women.
Notably, Mr. Jad Adam’s masterpieces have captured the attention of renowned figures in the entertainment industry. Producers like Monica Baccardi and a host of red carpet celebrities have sought his artistry to enhance their glamour. His creations have graced esteemed events, including the prestigious Cannes Festival, where the stunning Mariya Spartalis, a Digital Banking Influencer and recipient of the Philanthropy Award, wore a breathtaking dress crafted by Jad Adam. Together with luminaries such as Leonardo DiCaprio and Robert De Niro, Mariya contributed to a charitable Chopard Auction, championing the cause of addressing climate change and preserving our planet.
Through their collaboration, Jad Adam and Mariya Spartalis embody the fusion of artistic brilliance and philanthropic spirit, creating an enchanting narrative where fashion intertwines with noble causes. Their shared passion for their respective crafts has forged a connection that resonates with beauty, purpose, and a commitment to making a difference.
Barely halfway through 2024, the rapidly rising tower of US public debt has reached yet another milestone. Two hundred and six days after reaching $34 trillion, America’s debt pile has reached $35 trillion. To put this in perspective, the debt at the end of World War II was about $259 billion, making the current debt more than 135 times that amount. The US has now borrowed amounts larger than the combined GDPs of China, Japan, and Germany.
It is increasingly difficult to grasp that only a bit more than four decades ago the US national debt was $907 billion, and that the surpassing of the $1 trillion mark in 1981 was seen as a watershed moment. The amount of debt undertaken by the Biden administration alone now stands at $7.2 trillion, an amount equal to the amount of national debt incurred between the presidencies of two Georges: Washington (who assumed office in 1789) and the younger Bush (who left office in 2009). This is still less than was taken on by the Trump administration ($7.8 trillion), but if the borrowing needs of the current administration are what they are projected to be, the Biden administration may set a new record by having added over $8 trillion in debt.
But it is not just the amassing of debt, but the timing of it that has generated great vulnerabilities for the US economy. At the start of 2008 America’s debt pile sat at a now-quaint $9.2 trillion. During the seven years between late 2008 and late 2015, nominal interest rates were barely above zero as the debt burden essentially doubled to exceed $18 trillion. Low interest rates, even if artificially engineered, make enthusiastic borrowing more palatable. Even during the aborted attempt to increase rates between 2015 and mid-2019 — in which interest rates made a brief stop at roughly 2.4 percent — another six trillion dollars worth of debt was taken on. The outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic saw another 18 months of rock-bottom interest rates, during which five-and-a-half trillion more dollars of debt was piled on. And so it was with $30 trillion worth of debt that, owing to the outbreak of inflation (which was proved non-transitory) that the Fed raised short-term interest rates to their highest levels in sixteen years. And even then, with the debt-service levels spiraling higher, another five trillion dollars of debt has been added. Between 2020 and 2024, the United States has voluntarily encumbered itself with nearly $12 trillion in debt; debt that will at some point need to be repaid, defaulted upon, or subjected to some modification.
The federal government is projected to run a $1.9 trillion deficit this year, which would be the third-largest in US history following the deficits of $3.1 trillion in 2020 and $2.7 trillion in 2021 during peak pandemic-era spending. In fiscal year 2023, interest payments on the debt alone amounted to over $658 billion, surpassing the budgets of many major federal agencies combined. At this point, federal debt service costs amount to approximately $900 billion, which is 17 percent of total federal spending. Once again, US citizens should consider what they are willing to live without or see others go without. Social Security? National Parks? Unemployment benefits? The Environmental Protection Agency? Marginal gains in unwinnable and/or eternal wars? Funding for public education?
Landmarks of escalating liability are being surpassed with increasing frequency; so much so that absurd spending pledges have become nearly commonplace. This is in no small part due to national debt emerging as another in a growing list of third rail issues. But while succumbing to pessimism may be rational, it is ultimately unproductive. The economic risk posed to future generations is too significant to overlook, despite the repetitive nature of our warnings.

Meet Johnson Samuel, a remarkable individual with a passion for making a difference. With a brilliant mind and a heart filled with empathy, Johnson embarked on a journey that has touched the lives of many. His educational background is as diverse as his ambitions, boasting a B.Sc. in Microbiology from Bangalore University and a B.Sc. in Psychology from the prestigious University of Madras.
The early days of Johnson’s career were humble, as he found himself working as a Programming Trainer in a local computer institute. However, his unwavering determination led him to the corporate world, where he spent over four years making invaluable contributions. During this time, he had the privilege of working with a renowned hospital in Texas and a prominent publishing company in New York. It was here that Johnson’s exceptional dedication and skills earned him several coveted Best Employee Awards, a testament to his unwavering commitment to excellence.
But Johnson’s journey was not merely about professional achievements. He possessed a unique ability to inspire and guide others, especially as a trainer and mentor. The countless students who looked up to him for guidance became his greatest accomplishment, filling his heart with immense pride and joy. Their success stories served as a constant reminder of the profound impact one can have on another’s life.
Through years of observation, interaction, and personal experience, Johnson learned a valuable lesson: ignorance in the present, coupled with a lack of purpose for the future, can be a lethal combination. Motivated by this insight, he founded Snowville Outsourcing & Consulting Pvt. Ltd. with a vision to guide and support individuals in their educational and career pursuits. This noble endeavor aimed to instill purpose and direction in their lives, empowering them to seize opportunities at every stage of their journey.
To achieve this vision, Johnson realized that change must begin within oneself. He meticulously crafted a career guidance and counseling program that utilized time-tested metrics, state-of-the-art methods, and cutting-edge AI technology. Through this program, individuals could uncover their true passions, harness their unique talents, and envision a future teeming with endless possibilities. Snowville forged partnerships with esteemed institutions and universities worldwide, providing individuals with an environment to refine their tastes, strengthen their potential, and ignite their visions.
However, Johnson’s aspirations extended beyond merely finding employment for his clients. Snowville created new job opportunities as it grew, collaborating with organizations across the globe that valued knowledge and skills. For those with an entrepreneurial spirit, Johnson ensured that Snowville had something remarkable in store. He understood that dreams carried a hefty price tag, and he was determined to shield others from the heart-wrenching cost of shattered aspirations.
Yet, Johnson’s contributions were not confined to the professional realm alone. He remained deeply committed to his community, embracing the chance to make a difference outside the confines of his career. As an active member of the voluntary youth forum called HILLTOP YOUTH MINISTRIES, he joined forces with like-minded individuals to organize impactful initiatives. Their endeavors ranged from environmental conservation drives and vital medical camps to empowering awareness campaigns and transformative personality development sessions. They even extended their support to pre-marital and marital counseling, leaving an indelible mark on countless lives within the community.
For Johnson, success was not an isolated event but rather a profound journey. He believed that a clear vision was the compass guiding one’s path, but he emphasized the significance of infusing that vision with unwavering values. With each step forward, he encouraged others to embrace their dreams, for he intimately understood the profound cost of unrealized ambitions. In his eloquent and heartfelt words, he urged individuals to chase their aspirations relentlessly, knowing that laurels awaited those who dared to dream.
There is an old — and rather grotesque — fable about the best way to boil a frog. Turn up the temperature too quickly, and the agile amphibian will simply hop out of the pot — but turn up the temperature gradually, and the frog won’t even realise that it’s being boiled until it’s too late. Though science has conclusively proven that this old wives’ tale isn’t actually true, it nevertheless serves as a useful case study for how quickly we can become inoculated against challenging or unpleasant circumstances.
Much like our froggy friends, the British people are being gradually induced into a dangerous “new normal”, in which criminality, disorder, and personal tragedy are part and parcel of life in this country. As a result of our failed policies on crime, immigration, and integration over the past thirty years, we have gradually transitioned from one of the world’s safest societies to a country in which criminality is the norm. There is a risk that the public becomes used to this new reality, and stops expecting politicians to address the root causes of disorder.
Rather than reacting to the slow drip-feed of news stories on an individual basis, it can be informative to step back and take a holistic view. In just the past few weeks, the headlines have been dominated by events which, in the aggregate, point to a precipitous decline in public order.
On July 11th, the new Labour government announced that 5,000 prisoners would be released early, in order to ease prison overcrowding. On July 15th, reports emerged that London’s once-great Metropolitan Police had failed to solve a single burglary, phone theft, or car theft in 166 London neighbourhoods over the past three years. On July 17th, a Jordanian refugee who attacked a female police officer in Bournemouth was spared community service on the grounds that he could not speak English — and on July 18th, two asylum seekers from Egypt who stole a watch worth £25,000 in London’s West End were spared jail.
That same day saw two separate cases of rioting. In the Harehills area of Leeds, police were attacked and a double-decker bus was set on fire by local residents after four Romani children were taken into care by social services. In East London’s plurality-Bangladeshi borough of Tower Hamlets, rioting broke out in response to political unrest in Bangladesh.
Let me stress this again — all of these incidents took place within the space of a single week.
In years gone by, each of these high-profile incidents would have dominated national attention, and provoked a conversation about the state of law and order in this country. Today, they’re little more than fodder for the 24-hour news cycle, as fleeting as stories about vapid celebrity drama or tiresome political rigmarole.
The list goes on.
July 23rd, Anjem Choudhary is charged with directing an Islamic terrorist group. July 24th, British cadets at an Army Barracks in Gillingham are told not to wear uniforms in public after an officer is targeted and stabbed. July 26th, protests break out after police in Greater Manchester are recorded restraining two brothers seen fighting passengers at Manchester Airport. July 27th, six people arrested after a drive-by shooting in Watford. July 29th, one man dead and two others injured after a knife fight in East London. July 30th, a machete fight breaks out in Southend and protestors take to the streets in Southport following a brutal knife attack at a ballet school, which killed three girls and injured eight others.
As anybody familiar with the sorry decline of South Africa will be able to attest, decline is a process, not a moment. It consists of thousands of individual incidents, system failures, and personal tragedies. When ordinary citizens become accustomed to high levels of violence and criminality, it becomes harder to address the underlying causes of those issues. Adaptation, rather than prevention, becomes the name of the game — gated communities and private security for those who can afford it, atrophying police capacity for those who can’t.
Restoring the kind of high-trust, stable society that we once enjoyed will be a slow, long process — but it is a process which begins with a restoration of law and order. El Salvador’s Nayib Bukele demonstrates that, even while implementing misguided policies such as price controls, a country can still achieve stability and growth if it can maintain law and order. This simple principle gives businesses the confidence to prosper, ensures a harmonious public realm, and gives ordinary citizens — particularly women — peace of mind as they walk the streets.
Or perhaps that old maxim should be inverted — order and law. For, in the immortal words of Lee Kuan Yew (PBUH), “the hard realities of keeping the peace between man and man and between authority and the individual can be more accurately described if the phrase is inverted to ‘order and law’, for without order the operation of law is impossible.”
The process of renewal begins with a recognition of where we are, and where we deserve to be. Britain is now a country in which low-level criminality, and occasional explosive riots, are the norm. The public was dragged here, kicking and screaming, by a political class that refuses to recognise the impacts of our wishy-washy policies on criminal justice and migration.
We deserve to be a high-trust, safe country again — and we can be, if we rediscover the value of law enforcement. We’re here because of choices made by our politicians. We can — and must — choose differently.

That’s not unfounded either since the article begins by describing him as “the sole gatekeeper to the president with a direct say in everything from foreign policy to military planning.” Additionally, “Yermak’s rise has been accompanied by the fall of many others near the top — a parliamentary speaker, a central bank governor and his predecessor as chief of staff among them — often at the hands of the top aide”. He also seems to revel in being the power behind the throne and wants everyone to know it.
As Bloomberg phrased it,“His social media profile is replete with one-on-one images of Yermak with Pope Francis, French President Emmanuel Macron and others — often with his boss nowhere in sight. A June 7 post on his Telegram channel showed Yermak shaking hands with US President Joe Biden, while Zelenskiy nearby greeted Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin — a protocol reversal that triggered wry commentary in Kyiv.”
According to their sources, “The power dynamic is a serious matter for NATO allies and international donors — including the European Union and the International Monetary Fund — who have made transparency a benchmark condition for transferring funds.” They apparently worry that “any further tightening among Zelenskiy and his inner circle could sap energy for badly needed reforms — even measures to fight corruption and bolster the rule of law.”
The reality though is that there isn’t sincere concern about transparency and reforms in Ukraine, with this only being the pretext for pressuring Zelensky to not heed Yermak’s advice all that much anymore. That’ll be a challenge though since “He’s been central in every key wartime decision: replacing Zelenskiy’s top general, sourcing weapons supplies, negotiating security guarantees, overseeing prisoner swaps and — at the Swiss summit — winning over the Global South to Kyiv’s cause.”
In any case, this observation raises the question of why the West wants to drive a wedge between these two, whose relationship was compared by unnamed officials to a chief executive officer and chairman, with Yermak playing the first role and Zelensky the second. The context within which Bloomberg’s article was published, which included comments from Yermak himself per an interview that they just conducted with him, involves Ukraine’s latest signals that it might be semi-serious about resuming peace talks.
Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba visited Beijing in late July and then Kiev Mayor Vitaly Klitschko speculated that Zelensky might put the issue of territorial compromises with Russia up to a referendum, both of which were correspondingly analyzed here and here. Zelensky then tacitly confirmed Klitschko’s speculation in an interview with French media last week when he wouldn’t rule out a referendum after saying that the people’s will is required to change the constitution in order to allow such a scenario.
Yermak would be against that though since Bloomberg mentioned that “[his] more recent diplomatic foray has been as the architect of Ukraine’s peace blueprint, which aims to bring allies outside the West on board with Kyiv’s demands to end the war before a negotiation process with a more isolated Russia begins.” Holding a referendum on territorial compromises with Russia and then formally acknowledging the cession of Ukrainian land if it passes would represent the failure of everything that he worked for.
This isn’t conjecture either since Bloomberg reported that “The encounters with Kremlin officials (during his time as Ukraine’s chief negotiator in the Minsk process) earned Yermak a reputation for taking uncompromising positions in the diplomatic process, often viewing the world in black and white, according to people familiar with the discussions with Russian officials.” Simply put, he’s a radical ideologue, and such people are impossible to negotiate with since they flat-out refuse to compromise.
Given his enormous ego as proven by the photos that he shares of himself with world leaders, “often with his boss nowhere in sight” as Bloomberg reminded everyone, it’s possible that he might try to sabotage this process up to the point of potentially trying to replace Zelensky. Regardless of whether or not he tries that, it’s unlikely that he’d let his legacy be lost without going down fighting, and he could cause all sorts of trouble if he really wants to such as encouraging a Neo-Nazi revolt for example.
With this in mind, if the US is finally warming up to the scenario of Ukraine resuming peace talks with Russia as seems to be the case, then it follows that they’d want to preemptively neutralize Yermak’s meddling capability. To that end, it makes sense for unnamed official sources to contribute to a hit piece against him in collaboration with Bloomberg so as to pressure Zelensky into not heeding his advice all that much anymore, particularly regarding any second thoughts that he might have about a referendum.
As “the sole gatekeeper to the president”, who’s so close to Zelensky that he “even used to join the couple on overseas holidays before the war”, his views on the matter can make all the difference. He’s won’t agree to this though since he’s “the architect of Ukraine’s peace blueprint” so that’s why the US is gently making its move ahead of time in order to seed the information space with speculation about his true intentions. This includes implying that he wants to replace Zelensky or already believes that he has.
If Zelensky quietly stops talking about a referendum or starts aggressively pushing back against such proposals, then that would be proof of Yermak’s pernicious influence, let alone if this coincides with another purge that strengthens his position even more than it already is by removing pragmatic figures. As was hinted by Bloomberg, this could be exploited as the pretext for more openly pressuring Zelensky on the grounds that it creates an unfriendly environment for transparency and reforms.
These false bases could then justify withholding debt relief from Ukraine as it approaches bankruptcy, the state of which might be reached sooner than later after Zelensky just passed a law suspending payments to Western creditors for two months in order to avoid defaulting. Money talks, and Ukraine needs it more than ever, so that could be held above his head to get him to go through with holding a referendum in spite of Yermak’s resistance (provided that the West is truly ready for peace, that is).
It’s too early to predict exactly what might happen as regards the timing and details of the aforementioned scenario, but it’s no small matter that a Western Mainstream Media outlet as influential as Bloomberg just published a hit piece about Yermak with all the unsavory details that it included…
This strongly suggests that the US at the very least wants to reduce Yermak’s influence over Zelensky, likely with a view towards facilitating the resumption of peace talks, which he fiercely opposes.

“Faith is the guiding light in my life and in the lives of so many Arkansans,” Sanders said. “Arkansas’ faith communities are built on serving others. When we unite our churches, temples, and faith-based nonprofits around the common issues facing our state, I know we’ll build a better, brighter Arkansas.”
Sanders is asking faith leaders to sign up on a new website. The governor’s office will reach out to respondents after a list is compiled, according to the news release.
Sanders did not give any further details.

The Liberty Beacon Project is now expanding at a near exponential rate, and for this we are grateful and excited! But we must also be practical. For 7 years we have not asked for any donations, and have built this project with our own funds as we grew. We are now experiencing ever increasing growing pains due to the large number of websites and projects we represent. So we have just installed donation buttons on our websites and ask that you consider this when you visit them. Nothing is too small. We thank you for all your support and your considerations … (TLB)
