Knives For Netflix: Unusual Proposal By German Police Union Chief To Reduce Crime

You may soon be able to trade in your knife for a year-long Netflix subscription in Germany as authorities scramble to propose radical ideas to tackle the knife crime epidemic

    Thomas Brooke | ReMix News

A German police union chief has urged the government to consider a proposal for criminals who hand in knives to receive substantial rewards, including a year’s subscription to the Netflix streaming service.

Jochen Kopelke, the chairman of the police union (GdP), expressed his concern about the rising knife crime epidemic enveloping German cities and called on the federal left-wing administration to think outside the box to tackle the issue effectively.

He proposed an amnesty for all those in possession of a knife willing to hand in their weapons but suggested that a material reward was necessary to incentivize youths in particular to do so.

“For this measure to be effective, the federal government must create serious incentives for those who donate,” said Jochen Kopelke.

“Specifically, that could mean a year of Netflix for the delivery of a banned butterfly knife,” he added.

    (Shutterstock)

German law prohibits possession of a knife with a blade length of 12 cm or greater. However, butterfly knives have become the go-to weapon for many, and knife crime has spiraled in recent years.

On Tuesday, surgeons at Berlin’s university hospital, Charité, revealed they treated more victims of knife crime in the first half of this year than they did in the whole of 2023.

The injuries are also more serious with multiple and deeper stab wounds, often inflicted by larger knives, according to Ulrich Stöckle, managing director of the Center for Musculoskeletal Surgery.

“Why is there this increasing trend of violence?” he asked.

One indisputable fact from recently published interior ministry data is that foreign nationals are disproportionately represented in crime stats. Put simply, the sky-high immigration experienced by Germany in recent years has led to higher levels of crime.

Foreign nationals represented 41 percent of all crime suspects in 2023, despite comprising 15 percent of the population.

Specifically analyzing the levels of violent crime for which knife-related attacks fall, a total of 214,000 violent crimes were registered across Germany last year, up 8.6 percent on the previous year.

Last year was also a record for cases involving dangerous and grievous bodily harm reaching 154,000, up 6.8 percent.

It is important to note that anyone who has been naturalized as a German citizen, even if they were born abroad, does not count towards the crime committed by foreigners.

The federal government recently introduced reforms to the country’s citizenship laws to expedite the naturalization process.

  • Atlanta man arrested for allegedly killing, dismembering wife who disappeared in 1998

ATLANTA (TCN) — A man was arrested this week over 25 years after his wife went missing and whose severed remains were found in two different places several months apart.

On Wednesday, Aug. 7, the Atlanta Police Department announced Christopher Wolfenbarger was taken into custody on a murder charge for allegedly killing Melissa Wolfenbarger. He was reportedly found hiding behind a dryer in his home.

Atlanta Police Lt. Andrew Smith said at a news conference that on April 29, 1999, a passerby discovered a severed head on Avon Avenue. A little over a month later, on June 3, 1999, additional human remains were found in a nearby area. The remains were initially misidentified as a missing male. Melissa Wolfenbarger, however, was not reported missing until January 2000, and her remains were not positively identified until 2003.

According to WAGA-TV, the arrest of Melissa Wolfenbarger’s father, Carl Patton, helped bring some answers to her family. Patton was arrested in February 2023 for allegedly killing a 31-year-old woman. He was later convicted of five counts of murder and is currently serving life in prison in the Georgia Department of Corrections.

Detectives determined he did not have a role in his daughter’s disappearance and death. After Patton’s arrest, Melissa Wolfenbarger’s family pushed for DNA testing on the remains.

The case was handed over to Detective Jarion Shephard in May 2021. He believes Melissa Wolfenbarger was killed in a domestic violence-related incident.

Melissa Wolfenbarger’s mother, Norma Patton, said at the press briefing, “She laid in the morgue for four years before she was identified. That was a long, hard four years.”

WXIA reports Christopher Wolfenbarger did not report Melissa Wolfenbarger missing and told police he last saw his wife around March or April 1999.

Norma Patton said she last spoke with her daughter on Thanksgiving 1998 when Melissa Wolfenbarger called her to ask what she was cooking and who was coming to dinner. Melissa Wolfenbarger reportedly said she wanted to come over, and Patton said she would pick her up.

Patton shared, “The conversation went on a little bit longer, and my last words were, ‘I love you, and you know where I am if you need me.’”

Patton and her other daughter, Tina Patton, were allegedly never allowed to see Christopher and Melissa Wolfenbarger’s kids because his mother had custody of them. Norma Patton said she has been working on creating a relationship with them.

Tina Patton said at the news conference, “From day one, we knew it was Christopher. There was never any doubt in my mind.”

She said Christopher Wolfenbarger has “evil in his eyes,” and compared his stare to Charles Manson’s.

Norma Patton described her daughter as a loving mother, adding, “She loved her kids. There’s no way she would’ve left her kids. That’s why she kept going back to him.”

Norma Patton said, “We got him. He’s in jail. Lord help me, he stays there.”

  • Fact Check: Donald Trump released prisoners, dropped charges when negotiating release of Americans held abroad

After a historic prisoner swap Aug. 1 among the U.S., Russia and other countries, former President Donald Trump questioned the details and compared it with deals he made during his presidency.

“So when are they going to release the details of the prisoner swap with Russia? How many people do we get versus them? Are we also paying them cash?” Trump wrote Aug. 1 on Truth Social. “I got back many hostages, and gave the opposing Country NOTHING — and never any cash. To do so is bad precedent for the future.”

Three American citizens were among the released: U.S. Marine Paul Whelan, who was imprisoned in Russia for almost six years; Wall Street Journal reporter Evan Gershkovich, who had been imprisoned in Russia for more than a year; and Alsu Kurmasheva, a Radio Liberty journalist detained in October 2023.

In exchange for the prisoners held in Russia, the U.S. and other countries released eight prisoners, including Vadim Krasikov, who was serving a lifetime sentence in Germany for murder. National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan said the U.S. did not exchange money in the deal.

Trump’s administration released prisoners held by the U.S. government in exchange for having other nations free Americans held abroad.

“There is ALWAYS a quid pro quo in hostage diplomacy, as this issue is known,” said Anthony Wanis-St. John, an American University associate professor of peace, human rights and cultural relations who specializes in conflict zone negotiations. “It can be material, it can be a reciprocal release, or a political concession that is kept secret or is symbolic.”

Here are some examples of prisoner exchanges and their terms during Trump’s administration.

One U.S. citizen held in Iran exchanged for one Iranian in 2019

In 2019, the U.S. secured the release of Xiyue Wang, a U.S. citizen who had been held prisoner in Iran since 2016. Wang was a Princeton University graduate student conducting doctoral research when he was arrested in Tehran and imprisoned on espionage charges.

In exchange for Wang’s freedom, the U.S. agreed to release Masoud Soleimani, an Iranian scientist who was arrested and charged with violating American trade sanctions against Iran. The Justice Department had dropped the charges and Soleimani was expected to be released from prison before the exchange took place, The New York Times reported.

One U.S. veteran held in Iran released for one Iranian American doctor in 2020

In 2020, the Trump administration negotiated the release of Michael White, a U.S. Navy veteran who was imprisoned in 2018 after traveling to Iran to visit a woman he met online. White was serving a 10-year sentence after Iranian authorities convicted him of insulting Iran’s supreme leader and posting private information online, The Associated Press reported.

As part of this deal, the U.S. agreed to release Matteo Taerri, also known as Majid Taheri, an Iranian American doctor who had violated U.S. sanctions on Iran. Taerri pleaded guilty and served several months in jail before he was released on bond. The Justice Department dropped its charges against Taerri.

Two Americans held in Yemen released for more than 200 Houthi militants in 2020

On Oct. 14, 2020, the Trump administration secured the release of two Americans whom Houthi rebels in Yemen had held captive: Sandra Loli and Mikael Gidada. The remains of Bilal Fateen, an American who died in captivity, were repatriated.

In exchange, more than 200 Houthi militants returned from Oman to Yemen, according to news reports. The Trump administration did not link the two returns as an exchange, but The Wall Street Journal reported that U.S. and Saudi Arabian officials confirmed it was.

“We extend our sincerest thanks to Sultan Haitham bin Tariq of Oman and King Salman of Saudi Arabia for their efforts to secure the release of our citizens,” National Security Adviser Robert O’Brien said then.

U.S. agreed in 2017 to pay $2 million for U.S. citizen held in North Korea, but didn’t send the money

In June 2017, a medical team and a State Department representative returned University of Virginia student Otto Warmbier to the U.S., after he had been detained in North Korea for more than 17 months. Warmbier was in a coma, and a few days later, he died.

On April 25, 2019, The Washington Post reported that North Korea billed the U.S. $2 million to cover Warmbier’s hospital care. The U.S. envoy sent to retrieve Warmbier signed an agreement to pay the bill under Trump’s orders, the Post reported.

“We did not pay money for our great Otto. There was no money paid. There was a fake news report that money was paid,” Trump said April 26, 2019.

But on April 28, 2019, White House National Security Adviser John Bolton said on “Fox News Sunday” that “it appears” North Korea did demand money from the U.S. He said “that is what I’m told” when asked whether the U.S. envoy signed a document agreeing to pay the money to get Warmbier back.

However, Bolton, who was not working in the Trump administration at the time of Warmbier’s release, said the U.S. “absolutely” did not pay North Korea any money for the release.

    Our ruling

Trump said in hostage releases, “(I) gave the opposing country NOTHING — and never any cash.”

Multiple times during Trump’s administration, the U.S. government released prisoners it held in exchange for freeing Americans held abroad.

In one instance, the U.S. agreed to pay money to North Korea for the release of a U.S. citizen, but a White House official said the money was never sent.

Trump’s statement contains an element of truth because he never gave cash in exchange for Americans’ release. However, the statement ignores critical facts about the terms the U.S. agreed to in these exchanges.

We rate the statement Mostly False.

  • Israel Lobby Takes Out Second ‘Squad’ Member As Cori Bush Loses Primary | The Liberty Beacon

Israel Lobby Takes Out Second ‘Squad’ Member As Cori Bush Loses Primary

Tuesday’s Missouri primary delivered the latest demonstration of the Israel lobby’s formidable power, as progressive Democratic “Squad” Rep. Cori Bush lost a primary challenge to St. Louis County Prosecutor Wesley Bell, who benefitted from huge spending on his behalf by pro-Israel groups.

It’s the Israel lobby’s second ouster of a Squad member in just six weeks. In June, New York Rep. Jamaal Bowman lost the Democratic nomination to Westchester County executive George Latimer. In that race, the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) poured an astonishing $14 million into the race — helping to make it the most expensive House primary contest ever.

Seen with fellow “Squad” member Rep. Rashida Tlaib (left) at an October rally in Washington, Rep. Cori Bush was among the first House members to call for a Gaza War ceasefire (Amanda Andrade-Rhoades/AP)
    .

(Tyler Durden Reports) – Not far behind, the Bell-Bush contest ended as the fourth-priciest such race in US history. The AIPAC-affiliated but opaquely-named United Democracy Project spent almost $9 million to ensure that Bush was removed from Congress. Democratic Majority for Israel chipped in almost $500,000. It paid off: With more than 95% of the votes counted, Bell had won 51.2% of the vote to Bush’s 45.6%. The district is deep blue, so you can go ahead and pencil Bell in the seat now.

Bush and Bowman have been among the most vocal critics of the Israeli government’s response to the Oct. 7 Hamas invasion of southern Israel. The campaign in Gaza has killed an estimated 39,000 people, with most of them said to be civilians. About 90% of the population has been internally displaced at least once, with some moving 10 times, per the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs. Using satellite imagery, US university researchers estimate that, through April 21, 57% of all buildings in Gaza had been damaged or destroyed.

The beneficiary of $9 million in Israel-lobby spending, Cori Bush-vanquisher Wesley Bell has vowed to “make sure the United States remains Israel’s strongest ally” (Nicholas Wu/Politico)
    .

In a statement last week about its quest to cleanse Congress of Bush and other Israel-critical voices, AIPAC told Associated Press:

“AIPAC’s grassroots members are proud to support strong pro-Israel progressive Democrats like Wesley Bell. Cori Bush has been one of the most hostile critics of Israel since she came to Congress in 2021 and has actively worked to undermine mainstream Democratic support for the U.S.-Israel relationship.”

Of course, contrary to AIPAC’s suggestion, Wesley Bell being a progressive Democrat has nothing to do with the group’s support, which also flows to the most conservative Republicans. All that matters is alignment with the Israeli agenda, which is why AIPAC recently spent $300,000 on ads targeting Kentucky Rep. Thomas Massie, who has voted against several pro-Israel bills in recent months. AIPAC wasn’t even trying to hand him a loss in his primary, which he won handily. Rather, it was AIPAC’s opening salvo against a potential Massie 2026 run for the Senate seat of retiring Minority Leader Mitch McConnell.

On Tuesday evening, AIPAC took to social media to spike the football over Bush’s loss — and send a tacit warning to every other politician on either side of the aisle who might dare criticize Israel or vote against redistributing American wealth to it:

In another social media post boasting about Bush’s defeat, AIPAC repeated its frequent election-year claim that “being pro-Israel is good policy and good politics!” However, that claim is defied by an odd and unsettling aspect of the Israel lobby’s participation in these races: Advertising that pro-Israel groups inject into these campaigns almost never mentions IsraelIf pro-Israel policies were so essential to winning votes, why would AIPAC and its allies avoid making them a campaign issue?

Bush did have non-Israel-related electoral vulnerabilities, such as voting against Biden’s $1 trillion infrastructure bill because it didn’t include progressive giveaways like free community college and universal family leave. She was also seen as a major hypocrite, promoting “defund the police” policies only to find herself the subject of a DOJ investigation into her campaign spending more than $130,000 on private security, with tens of thousands for “security services” paid to a man she ended up marrying. Bell’s campaign portrayed Bush as an unproductive representative principally focused on cultivating her Squad celebrity status.

…and we’d be remiss if we didn’t remind you she isn’t the sharpest tool in the drawer:

In the home stretch of her race, Bush — who won her seat in 2020 — could clearly see the handwriting on the wall. Contemplating her political future last weekend, Bush told NBC News, “One thing I don’t do is go away.” Maybe not, but her choice of where to go will be defined in no small part by groups promoting the interests of a tiny country 6,400 miles from St. Louis.

  • Suspected serial killer accused of fatally strangling 3 women in California in 1977 is arrested

VENTURA COUNTY, Calif. (TCN) — A 73-year-old suspected serial killer from Mississippi has been charged in connection with the 1977 strangling deaths of three women in California.

According to a news release from the Ventura County District Attorney’s Office, in February 2023, the Ventura County Sheriff’s Office Cold Case Unit reopened a case regarding the 1977 killings of Kimberly Carol Fritz, Velvet Ann Sanchez, and Lorraine Ann Rodriguez. Autopsies revealed they each died of strangulation, and investigators at the time obtained evidence from the crime scenes.

Officials identified Warren Alexander of Diamondhead, Mississippi, as the primary suspect in their deaths. Prosecutors announced his arrest this week on three counts of murder.

Alexander was extradited to California on Aug. 6 from Surry County, North Carolina, where he was awaiting prosecution for a 1992 cold case death.

According to the Surry County Sheriff’s Office, in July 1992, Nona Cobb’s remains were found on the side of Interstate 77. Investigators in North Carolina identified Alexander as a suspect through DNA testing and arrested him on March 15, 2022.

Alexander is scheduled to be arraigned in Ventura County Superior Court on Aug. 21. He remains held in the Ventura County Jail without bail.

  • Fact Check: President Joe Biden didn’t board an empty plane after prisoner swap; he thanked the flight crew

Three Americans touched U.S. soil for the first time since they were freed Aug. 1 in the biggest prisoner swap with Russia in post-Soviet history.

President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris were among the people waiting at Joint Base Andrews in Maryland to greet Evan Gershkovich, Paul Whelan and Alsu Kurmasheva, along with Russian dissidents, who were set free as part of the deal.

Biden later boarded the plane that had brought the prisoners to Maryland, setting off a chorus of claims questioning the president’s movements.

“This is BEYOND bizarre … even for Joe Biden!” said one Instagram post from Sebastian Gorka, a former deputy assistant to President Donald Trump. “The Old Man walks onto an empty airplane for no reason and just disappears for a few minutes! Talk about ‘weird.’”

This post was flagged as part of Meta’s efforts to combat false news and misinformation on its News Feed. (Read more about our partnership with Meta, which owns Facebook and Instagram.)

Statements from the White House, journalists who were there, and video footage explain what Biden was doing.

Biden representatives didn’t immediately respond to PolitiFact’s questions about the claim.Biden spokesperson Andrew Bates posted Aug. 2 on X that “@POTUS was personally thanking the flight crew who brought these brave individuals home to their families.”

Andrew Feinberg, who was the White House pool reporter that night, told Mediaite, “It was obvious to me that POTUS was boarding to speak to the people who had helped bring these three Americans home — the pilots and seven other passengers plus whoever took the photo — because they had remained on board while the three former prisoners enjoyed their first moments back on U.S. soil with their loved ones.”

Biden’s @POTUS account posted the photo Feinberg referred to Aug. 1 on X. It shows Gershkovich, Whelan and Kurmasheva with seven others aboard a plane.

Another image, which photographer Brendan Smialowski took for Agence France-Presse, shows Biden boarding the plane. The photo caption on Getty Images’ website says, “Biden steps onto the plane to talk to the pilot who flew the former prisoners held by Russia to Joint Base Andrews in Maryland on August 1.”

As fact-checking website Snopes reported, a Black Star Network livestream of Biden and Harris greeting the Americans shows someone on the plane after Biden disembarks again. (That happens around the 45:50 mark.)

We rate claims that Biden boarded an empty plane for no reason False.

  • The Habit-Driven Success of Michael D. Wynn – The US Times

Michael D. Wynn, known to many as CoachWin, is a beacon of hope and transformation. As the Founder and President of Coach Win, LLC, his journey from personal battles to becoming a celebrated habit success strategist is nothing short of inspiring. A native of Detroit, Wynn’s life story is a testament to the transformative power of habits, resilience, and unwavering dedication.

    A Personal Battle Turned Passion

Wynn’s journey began with a deeply personal battle with bipolar disorder. This struggle ignited his passion for understanding and discussing the power of habits. The turning point came with the profound influence of Maya Angelou’s words: “As soon as healing takes place, go out and heal somebody else.” This mantra not only guided Wynn through his healing journey but also became the cornerstone of his mission to help others.

    From Fear to Empowerment

Overcoming significant challenges, Wynn faced his fears head-on. These included the fear of transparency, failure, rejection, and the unknown. By applying insights from his therapist, Wynn learned to confront these fears, understanding that mere acknowledgment was not enough. True success and well-being required persistence, consistent effort, and the implementation of effective habits.

The Habit Matrix: A Formula for Success

Wynn’s unique approach, the Habit Matrix, is a repetitive formula designed to help individuals and teams overcome obstacles through effective habit formation. As an authenticity coach, financial expert, and motivational speaker, Wynn uses his expertise to train leaders, business teams, and organizations in these winning strategies. His method is not just about theory; it’s about practical application and real-world results.

    Recognized Excellence

Wynn’s contributions have not gone unnoticed. He is the recipient of an Outstanding Financial Literacy Award from the Michigan Accounting Aid Society and the 2024 Lifetime Achievement Award from the Office of the President of the United States. These accolades reflect his commitment to alleviating financial burdens and offering crucial support through community outreach programs.

    Practical Solutions for Real-World Problems

Wynn’s work is grounded in practical solutions. His certifications as an authenticity coach, financial literacy trainer, and fraud examiner enable him to provide actionable strategies for financial stability and personal growth. Engaging with businesses and community outreach programs, Wynn addresses a critical need: less than 60% of Americans are financially literate, and many struggle with increasing challenges and depression.

    Leadership Techniques and Perspectives

Wynn’s leadership philosophy is deeply rooted in the principles of authenticity, empathy, and resilience. Here are some of the leadership techniques and perspectives that define his approach:

1.Lead by Example: Wynn believes that leaders must embody the habits and behaviors they wish to see in their teams. By practicing what he preaches, Wynn sets a powerful example for those he mentors.

2.Cultivate a Growth Mindset: Wynn encourages leaders to foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement. This involves embracing challenges, learning from failures, and celebrating progress.

3.Empower Through Trust: Building trust is fundamental to Wynn’s leadership style. He advocates for transparent communication, active listening, and empowering team members to take ownership of their roles.

4.Promote Mental Health and Well-Being: Recognizing the importance of mental health, Wynn prioritizes the well-being of his team. He promotes practices that support mental resilience, such as mindfulness, stress management, and work-life balance.

5.Emphasize Accountability: Wynn’s Habit Matrix includes a strong focus on accountability. He teaches leaders to set clear expectations, provide constructive feedback, and hold themselves and their teams accountable for results.

6.Harness the Power of Positive Affirmations: Wynn integrates positive affirmations into his leadership practice. By encouraging his team to focus on positive self-talk and reinforcing their strengths, he helps them build confidence and achieve their goals.

7.Celebrate Successes, Big and Small: Wynn understands the motivational power of recognition. He ensures that both small wins and major achievements are celebrated, fostering a positive and encouraging work environment.

8.Adapt and Innovate: Wynn’s leadership is marked by adaptability and innovation. He stays attuned to industry trends and encourages creative problem-solving to navigate challenges and seize opportunities.

    Five Habit Strategies for Winning

Wynn’s success strategies are built on five core habit strategies:

1.Set Clear Goals: Define what you want to achieve with precision.

2.Practice Self-Discipline: Stay committed to your goals, even when it’s challenging.

3.Be Persistent and Repetitious: Consistency is key to habit formation and success.

4.Prioritize Your Health and Well-Being: Take care of your physical and mental health to maintain high performance.

5.Celebrate Small Wins and Tiny Breakthroughs: Acknowledge and celebrate progress, no matter how small, to stay motivated.

    A Vision for the Future

Looking ahead, Wynn envisions Coach Win, LLC becoming a leading authority in habit success strategies and financial literacy. His dream is to have a global impact through speaking engagements, workshops, and online platforms. This vision is underpinned by his belief that “Your Habits Will Determine Your Level of Success.”

    Authentic Leadership

Wynn’s leadership style is distinguished by authenticity and motivational engagement. His Habit Matrix and heartfelt dedication resonate with many, helping individuals and organizations achieve their full potential. By challenging negative thoughts, creating positive environments, and exercising positive affirmations, Wynn helps his clients develop the resilience and discipline needed to succeed.

Whether you’re a business leader, an organization, or an individual seeking change, Wynn’s message is clear: “Your Habits Will Determine Your Level of Success.”Mike Wynn

  • Tim Walz Protested Outside RNC, Called JD Vance ‘Perfect Frankenstein Monster’ | The Liberty Beacon

Tim Walz Protested Outside RNC, Called JD Vance ‘Perfect Frankenstein Monster’

Walz ” has governed like a Minneapolis liberal.” ~Rep. Tom Emmer

    BREITBART

Gov. Tim Walz (D-MN) — Democrat presidential nominee Vice President Kamala Harris’s running mate — is among those who traveled to Milwaukee, Wisconsin, to protest the Republican National Convention (RNC) in July, further showcasing his radical nature rather than acting as CEO of his state, representing all.

Instead of leading his state in unity, Walz was among those who traveled to Milwaukee — host of the RNC — mere days after the assassination attempt on Republican presidential nominee former President Donald Trump to protest Republicans and champion the Biden-Harris administration.

During that visit in July, he had this to say about Sen. JD Vance (R-OH), Trump’s running mate: “This idea of JD Vance, I just want to say this: The perfect Frankenstein monster created by the Heritage Foundation.”

During his speech, Walz bizarrely asserted that Vance is totally disconnected from the problems facing rural America.

“And I say this because I read Hillbilly Elegy,” Walz claimed. “I read it because I come from a town of 400. I had 24 kids in my graduating class — 12 were cousins — and I know a little bit about small towns, and his dismissive, derogatory approach to how he viewed it, it’s not a cultural bias that people had.”

“It’s decades of policies of people like him and venture capitalists and others that gutted many of our small towns,” he continued:

The idea that this guy would understand or have a policy — the thing that makes small towns work, the things that we value most around freedoms, whether it’s reproductive freedoms, personal freedoms — but the things that make small towns work, this was not in Hillbilly Elegy. It should be. Mind your own damn business, that’s how small towns work.

Walz ironically failed to realize or admit that it is the Democrat Party that is interested in growing the government’s role in the lives of these very Americans he claims to understand, whether that be by forcing “green energy” initiatives — like pushing electric vehicles and phasing out fossil fuels — forcing the embrace of transgender ideology on parents and children, or targeting Americans it has ideological disagreements with.

“They work because you respect your neighbor, and you understand their choices, who they marry, their own health care decisions, what books they read,” Walz said, pointing to LGBTQ+ issues, abortion, and concerns about pornographic books in schools as his examples — another clear sign he is willfully detached from the reality of the concerns of Americans.

Rep. Tom Emmer (R-MN) recently blasted Walz for opting to protest the RNC, telling Breitbart News Daily on Tuesday, “This guy has governed like a Minneapolis liberal.”

“He is so progressive, and, quite frankly, if he is the pick, it’s because Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren won the day,” the House majority whip said, noting they are “the ones who have been advocating for this progressive nut bag to be the vice presidential pick.”

The Liberty Beacon Project is now expanding at a near exponential rate, and for this we are grateful and excited! But we must also be practical. For 7 years we have not asked for any donations, and have built this project with our own funds as we grew. We are now experiencing ever increasing growing pains due to the large number of websites and projects we represent. So we have just installed donation buttons on our websites and ask that you consider this when you visit them. Nothing is too small. We thank you for all your support and your considerations … (TLB)
