The NYT Connections today was a weird mix is the way I will describe it. However, I will still give it a difficulty rating of a 3 out of 5. I began with the Yellow category with as an impulsive man myself, had these under the bag. The Green category came next first and even though I am too old for this generation, my friend helped me out here.

The Blue category was a simple game of mix and match. So besides the word Venus, I had all those solved. With only four words left, I combined them to get the Purple category and the NYT Connections for April 2.

UK-based mattress retailer, the Odd Company, also joined in on the April Fool’s fun by announcing their City Napper. This is a wearable mattress for those of us who hate waking up early and commuting to work. You just put on the cozy poncho, with the foldable headgear, and find a good spot in the subway, and count the ZZZ’s on your way to work.

10. Sony’s New Phone is for All You Big-Screen Lovers

Finally, we have something from Sony. They are taking big phones to new heights with the new Xperia Max. It features all the same perks as the regular Xperia 1 IV, but with a 1-meter tall screen, so you can take your content-watching experience to the next level. To make it easy to carry this giant smartphone, they added a carrying handle to the side. But I think they could’ve gone bigger.

How to Not Get Pranked This April Fools’ Day

While you should remain vigilant of false news and overpromising adverts throughout the year, April Fool’s is a special occasion to be extra careful. So, before we wrap up this list, let’s give you a quick heads up on how to not get pranked by brands this April Fool’s Day.

• Check if the ad or the product sounds reasonable. A “flat earth” insurance should instantly ring some bells.
• Verify the links and URLs. Most companies give away that it’s a prank in the URL itself, and if not, then it’s still a good practice.
• Do some research beforehand. A quick Google search will tell you that there is no such thing as a scam-sniffing AI nose.
• Don’t blindly believe everything you see on the internet. I think this applies to all things online, and not just April Fool’s pranks.

Honestly, some of these goofy products actually sound pretty enticing, and I would love to have one in real life. And I didn’t expect Yahoo, of all brands, to feature a grass touching keyboard. Later this year, specifically in June, Apple will hold its developer conference, where it will unveil a couple of current trends in the company. However, the protagonist of the event will be its new system, the iOS 19 update. According to rumours, this new system will come with a unique design, different from the iOS 18. There are also reports that this device will copy the visual style of VisionOS. This system was specifically designed for the Vision Pro. However, it appears that Apple will adopt some visual elements for its mobile phones.

The Apple Vision Pro system is known for its translucent interface, round corners and a glassy appearance. The aim is to create a unique experience for users. Apple will likely adopt some of these features to create a mixed feel for mobile phone users.

Furthermore, the new iOS 19 system is expected to migrate the round corner style to its Safari browser, mail and other system icons. This will give the overall UI interface a new appearance.
