  • Windows 11 Gets Quick Machine Recovery to Fix Boot Failures via the Internet

Last year, a faulty update by CrowdStrike led to thousands of Windows systems crashing all over the world. While Microsoft was not directly responsible for the failure, the incident sparked a credibility crisis for Windows. After the major failure, Microsoft announced the Windows Resiliency Initiative at Ignite 2024 to overhaul the security model of Windows and avoid similar disruptions in the future.

Now, in 2025, Microsoft has introduced Quick Machine Recovery (QMR) as part of the Windows Resiliency Initiative. As the name suggests, Quick Machine Recovery connects to the internet to fix widespread boot failures on Windows 11. It can automatically detect the issue and apply the fix directly from the Windows Recovery Environment (WinRE).

    Microsoft on its blog notes:

When a critical boot failure occurs, the device enters WinRE, connects to the network, and sends diagnostic data to Microsoft, which can then deploy targeted remediations via Windows Update.

Quick Machine Recovery is currently being tested in the Windows 11 24H2 Insider Preview Build 26120.3653 (Beta channel). It will be enabled by default on the Home edition of Windows 11.

Basically, in the future, when your Windows 11 PC refuses to boot for some reason, you can enter the recovery environment and click on Troubleshoot > Advanced options. Here, select “Quick machine recovery” to allow the PC to connect to the internet and search for solutions automatically.

Windows watcher, XenoPanther shared the demo on X, showcasing how the new Quick machine recovery works. By the way, macOS has an Internet Recovery Mode for Intel-based Macs. And recently, ChromeOS also received Network Recovery to fix boot failures. So it’s great to see Microsoft is bringing a much-needed cloud-based recovery option for Windows 11.

Apart from that, if your Windows 11 PC is booting correctly, but you are facing other system issues, you can now use the internet-based recovery option in Windows Settings. It will repair components and system files by reinstalling the current version of Windows 11. All your files, apps, and settings will be preserved.

  • Google is Bringing Chrome Extensions to Android, But Not As You’d Want Them

Chrome has had dominion in the browser space for over a decade, but we can all agree that some of its alternatives are far more feature-rich. For example, Brave comes with Tor built in, Firefox is more secure, Opera is much more customizable, and more. Chrome for Android also lacks extensions, but that might change soon. That’s because Google is developing a version of Chrome with extension support for Android.

Google Chrome‘s Desktop Android builds have been spotted many times before. According to Android Authority‘s Mishaal Rahman, these Chrome Android Desktop builds were available for download before, but you couldn’t run extensions. However, a recent code change makes it possible to install and use extensions on these desktop builds.

After installing the Chrome Desktop builds, Mishaal reports extensions like Dark Reader, Keepa, and uBlock Origin worked flawlessly. However, there were some extensions that were unusable.

Also, there’s no way to install extensions via the Chrome Web Store. And installing extensions on these builds requires dragging and dropping the CRX files. We were able to install and use the extensions on our devices as well. Bitwarden did not work, but Dark Reader did.

Unfortunately, these Chrome builds won’t arrive on your Android phone. Rather, they’re for Android Desktop. Google intends to merge ChromeOS in Android in the near future. So, these builds could probably be for Android Desktop.

That said, if you want to try out Chrome builds with extension support, you can download them from Google’s server or get started with the latest version. While extension support may never arrive on Chrome on Android phones, browsers like Edge and Firefox already support them and are preparing to expand extension support.

What are your thoughts about Chrome extensions on Android. Should Google consider bringing them to Android phones? Let us know in the comments below.

  • Microsoft 365 Copilot Enhances Photo Upload Process

The process of transferring images between mobile devices and PCs is now easier with a new upgrade for Microsoft 365 Copilot. A few days ago, the company published a blog post which states that users can now easily upload or capture photos directly from their Android or iOS mobile devices to the Microsoft 365 Copilot on their computers. The process of transferring images to PCs before this update was complex. Users either needed to email the image or use third-party tools.

    How this feature works

To use this new feature, create or open a file in any Microsoft 365 app, such as Word, Excel, or PowerPoint.

Once the file is open, they can click the Copilot button in the “Home” tab of the ribbon and select the “+” icon in the chat box’s bottom-left corner.

    Microsoft 365 Copilot

After clicking “Add pictures,” users can then choose the option “Upload from mobile phone.”

    Microsoft 365 Copilot

This process will lead to the generation of a QR code that you can scan with your mobile phone.

After scanning, you will be redirected to the upload page, where you can either choose to take a new photo or select an old image from your gallery. After uploading the image, it will appear in the Copilot chat box on the computer.

    Current Limitations

This is good news for those who use CoPilot to work on images. However, it is important to note that there are some limitations to this feature at the moment. Firstly, the feature is only available for Microsoft 365 apps for Windows and web versions, such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. In addition, users of these apps must ensure that their Office version is version 2504 (Build 18603.20000); otherwise, this feature will not work. Also, users must have an enterprise-grade Copilot license to access this feature. This means that only users who subscribe to Microsoft’s premium services can access this feature.

  • Solo Leveling: Sung Jinwoo’s Shadow Exchange Ability Explained

Sung Jinwoo has come a long way from being the weakest hunter in the world of Solo Leveling to becoming the Shadow Monarch. He becomes the new Shadow Monarch after being selected as the player for the System. Thanks to this, Jinwoo slowly gains diverse skills and abilities after completing quests in his leveling-up journey. One of the coolest and most powerful skills you must have seen Jinwoo use recently is Shadow Exchange. If you are clueless about this ability, like other S-Rank hunters who were left wondering how Jinwoo appeared on Jeju Island, this one’s for you. Read on to learn about Sun Jinwoo’s Shadow Exchange ability in Solo Leveling here.

    Spoilers Warning:

This post includes major spoilers for Solo Leveling. We recommend you read the manhwa or watch the anime to avoid ruining the intended experience.

What Is the Shadow Exchange Skill in Solo Leveling?

Image Credit: A-1 Pictures (via YouTube/Crunchyroll, screenshot by Ajithkumar/Beebom)

Sung Jinwoo recently defeated Baran’s clone on his second trip to the Demon Castle. By beating the Demon King, Jinwoo completed the Demon Castle quest, and the Solo Leveling System gave him a lot of rewards in return.

Among these rewards, Jinwoo received an ancient rune stone containing the Shadow Exchange skill. He immediately cracked the rune stone and unlocked the skill, which came in handy most of the time in his leveling-up adventures.

Shadow Exchange is a teleportation-related skill where the user can instantly swap places with their desired shadow soldier. That is how our hero immediately came to the rescue of other S-Rank hunters during the Jeju Island Arc. It is a pretty simple skill, but it is easily one of the most useful skills in the Solo Leveling series.

How Does Jinwoo’s Shadow Exchange Ability Work?

As I mentioned earlier, Jinwoo can switch places with a shadow soldier anywhere in the world to get instantly teleported. Using the Shadow Exchange skill doesn’t consume any mana at all. But the only problem with this skill is its 3-hour cool-down period.

For example, Jinwoo used the skill to come to Jeju Island. However, when he needed to take Cha Hae-In to the hospital, he couldn’t use it again as the skill was on a 3-hour-long cooldown. The cooldown period has significantly affected Jinwoo in many places, but there is a way to overcome this difficulty.

    Fully Upgraded Shadow Exchange Skill

Image Credit: D&C Media (via Fandom/Solo Leveling Wiki)

When the system showcased the details of the Shadow Exchange skill, we can see that the cooldown period can be shortened by leveling up the skill. So when Ashborn transferred his complete powers to Sung Jinwoo in the Monarchs War arc, Sung Jinwoo reached the highest level of this skill.

The upgraded version of the Shadow Exchange directly eliminated the skills’ two biggest constraints: the requirement for a shadow soldier and the long cooldown period. Now, Sung Jinwoo can freely teleport to his desired location and no longer needs to worry about the cooldown.

That’s everything you need to know about Sung Jinwoo’s Shadow Exchange ability. The scenes where Sung Jinwoo uses this skill have already become one of the favorite sequences for the fans. That said, do you like the Shadow Exchange skill in Solo Leveling? Let us know your thoughts about this ability in the comments below.

  • You Can Soon Earn In-Game Rewards for Watching Video Ads on Roblox

Google is upgrading the Immersive Ads feature on Roblox, and recently they have announced that the players can earn in-game rewards by watching the Video Ads. This is a win-win situation for both players and publishers, where the former might get exclusive skins or accessories, and the latter get to make money through this ad-program. With that, let’s dive right in and check what more does this program offer.

Roblox is coming up with a major change in its Immersive Ad-program by introducing the Rewarded Video Ads. These are full-screen video ads that players can choose to watch for up to 30 seconds. This way, they can earn in-game perks, power-ups or exclusive accessories.

Furthermore, partnering with Google, Roblox is integrating the features of AdMob and Ad Manager. This is set to help advertising companies buy space within the platform.

Image Credit: Google Ads & Commerce

The Immersive Ad feature was released last year. Since then, the tests reveal that there was approximately 80% completion rate for the Rewarded Video ads. In some cases, this number even crossed over 90%. This means that Roblox players know the value of such rewards and are willing to watch a 30-second ad for that.

In addition to this, the platform wants to take the feature to a whole new level by introducing Billboard Ads, Sponsored Experience Ads, and Premium Home Ads. You might soon experience advertisements hogging up some billboard inside your favorite Roblox experience as well. However, there’s nothing to worry, since these will blend perfectly with the game environment.

Finally, Roblox says that they’ll be partnering with Clint, DoubleVerify, Kantar, and other industry leaders to ensure the brand safety and improve the ad experience. So, what are your thoughts on this new feature? Are you willing to sacrifice 30 seconds of your gaming time to get some cool rewards? Let us know in the comments below!

  • Xiaomi Just Changed the Game: 6 Years of Updates, No Catch?

It seems that something is being done right in Xiaomi HQ in terms of their software updates. According to recent news, the Chinese company decided to stretch out the software updates, like, way out, for their POCO F7 Pro and F7 Ultra phones. We’re talking 2031 here. It’s a pretty big deal, honestly, especially when you think about how quickly phones usually get dropped by manufacturers. It’s a clear signal they’re serious about long-term support, and they’ve been consistent about it, if you look at their earlier promises for the Redmi Note 14 series.

High end Xiaomi smartphones with long-term updates support

They’ve made a point of including a decent spread of phones in this whole long-term update thing. You’ve got:

    • POCO F7 Pro (you’re looking at updates till March 27, 2031)
    • POCO F7 Ultra (same deal, March 27, 2031)
    • Xiaomi 15 Ultra (March 1, 2031)
    • Xiaomi 15 (March 1, 2031)
    • Redmi Note 14 (March 1, 2031)

    Xiaomi updates

    Mid-range models with extended support

And they haven’t forgotten the folks with the mid-range phones either. Xiaomi is offering four years of security updates, which is not bad at all:

    • Redmi Note 14 5G (till January 10, 2029)
    • Redmi Note 14 Pro 55G (till January 30, 2029)
    • Redmi Note 14 Pro 5G (till January 1, 2029)
    • Redmi Note 14 Pro (till January 15, 2029)
    • POCO X7 (till January 30, 2029)
    • POCO X7 Pro (till January 7, 2029)

Tablets? The Xiaomi Pad 7 and Pad 7 Pro get updates until March 1, 2028.

Now, what’s really going on here? Well, some other Android phone makers, they’ll give you a couple of years of updates, and that’s it. Xiaomi, they’re going against that grain and seem to follow Samsung and Apple on their path. They’re saying, “We’re going to support these phones for a long time.” That means you get a phone that lasts longer, it’s safer, and maybe it’s worth more when you decide to sell it. Plus, it’s good for the environment, right? Less e-waste.

It feels like Xiaomi’s trying to change the rules of the game here. They’re not just selling phones, they’re selling a commitment – and this looks very interesting to me. What do you think? Let us know in the comments section right below.

  • HSR Cipher Leaks: Kit, Signature Light Cone & Speculated Release Date

Cipher will be the next playable demi-god from Amphoreus in Honkai Star Rail, and she is expected to be a very strong Sub-DPS character. Cipher is a 5-star Nihility character of the Quantum damage type, expected to release in Honkai Star Rail 3.3. Her kit, Eidolons, and signature Light Cone have leaked on Reddit in Honkai Star Rail, and it hints at her as a very strong character. Here I have put together all of Cipher’s leaks and official information, so that you know whether to save for her release in Honkai Star Rail or not.

HSR Cipher Rarity, Element, Path & Base Stats Leaks

    Rarity 5-star
    Path Nihility
    Element Quantum
    Base HP N/A
    Base Attack N/A
    Base Defense N/A
    Speed N/A
    Taunt N/A
    Max Energy N/A

Honkai Star Rail Cipher Release Date

Cipher will release on Honkai Star Rail 3.3, likely featuring on the second phase banners. We can speculate Cipher’s release to be sometime in early June 2025. Cipher’s Drip Marketing confirms her for HSR 3.3, and her Drip Marketing order hints towards a second half release. HSR 3.3 will also feature Hyacine, so it would definitely send players into Stellar Jade crunch. So, use Honkai Star Rail codes to refill your Stellar Jade stocks every now and then to pull your favorite characters from the banners.

Honkai Star Rail Cipher Kit Leaks

Cipher’s kit has been leaked in Honkai Star Rail through various mediums, primarily through Reddit. We have accumulated all the leaks on Cipher’s kit here. However, her kit would likely change over the next few weeks, until Honkai Star Rail 3.3 releases. So, bookmark our article to find the latest updates on her kit.

    • Basic Attack: Deals Quantum Damage equal to a percentage of Cipher’s Attack to a single enemy.
    • Skill: Inflicts the designated enemy with “Foretold” status, then deals Quantum damage equal to a percentage of Cipher’s Attack to the target and its adjacent enemies.
    • Ultimate: Deals single target Quantum damage equal to a percentage of Cipher’s Attack, and then deals True Damage equal to the recorded value of “Wealth Bond,” distributed among the target and its adjacent enemies. Clears the recorded value of “Wealth Bond” and resets the number of Follow-up Attacks that can be triggered by “Foretold.”
    • Talent: At the start of any ally’s turn or action, if no enemy is under “Foretold” status, Cipher inflicts it on a random enemy, prioritizing the one with the highest HP. “Foretold” only applies to the most recently inflicted target. When an enemy with “Foretold” receives Damage from any ally, Cipher enters “Wealth Bond” state, recording a percentage of the total Damage taken by that enemy (excluding True Damage). When an ally attacks an enemy with “Foretold,” Cipher deals a Follow-up Attack, dealing Quantum Damage equal to a percentage of her Attack. The number of Follow-up attacks resets after using her Ultimate.
    • Technique: Cipher enters Stealth, increase her movement speed, and automatically collects Treasures when passing by. Upon entering battle, it deals Damage to all enemies and records a percentage of this damage in “Wealth Bond.”
    • Trace 1: All enemy Defenses are reduced by a certain percentage when Cipher is on the field.
    • Trace 2: Wealth Bond additionally records a percentage of the total damage taken by adjacent enemies of the targets of the “Foretold” enemy, excluding True Damage.
    • Trace 3: Cipher’s Follow-up Attack damage is increased by a certain percentage. The recording rate of Wealth Bond is further boosted by Cipher’s Crit Rate, up to an additional percentage.
    • Trace Boosts: N/A

Cipher’s leaked kit is very interesting, to say the least. She is a Nihility Sub-DPS, who deals damage primarily through Follow-up attacks and also deals True damage when using her Ultimate. Furthermore, her Trace 1 can reduce the defenses of all enemies by her sheer presence on the field, and she records the damage taken by an enemy to deal a percentage of the total damage received as True Damage.

If Cipher’s kit remains unchanged, or continues to have similar abilities on her release, she can fit into multiple different teams. In Honkai Star Rai, Cipher would be a great fit for Feixiao teams as her kit perfectly mirrors the abilities Feixiao requires in a Sub-DPS. Other than that, Cipher can also fit in Acheron teams, or any other Hypercarry teams. She can also act as a sole DPS if played in the correct teams.

HSR Cipher Signature Light Cone Leaks

Cipher Honkai Star Rail Signature Light Cone
Image Credit: Hoyoverse (via X/@honkaistarrail, edited by Sanmay Chakrabarti/Beebom)

Cipher’s signature Light Cone has also leaked and the rumors reveal it as a Crit Rate buffing Light Cone that also reduces the enemy defenses greatly. Here is everything we currently know about Cipher’s Signature Light Cone in Honkai Star Rail.

    • Name: N/A
    • Rarity: 5-star
    • Path: Nihility
    • HP: N/A
    • Attack: N/A
    • Defense: N/A
    • Effect: Increases the wearer’s Crit Rate by a certain percentage. When the wearer uses their Skill to deal damage, the defense of the attacked enemy is reduced by a certain percentage. If this Skill triggers Crit Hit, the enemy’s defense is further reduced by a percentage, lasting for a certain number of turns.

Honkai Star Rail (HSR) Cipher Eidolons

    Cipher's eidolons
Image Credit: Hoyoverse (via YouTube/HonkaiStarRail, screenshot by Sanmay Chakrabarti/Beebom)

Cipher’s Eidolons have also leaked in Honkai Star Rail through Reddit, and it features a decent power spike to her kit so far. Here is everything we have found about Cipher’s Eidolons through leaks:

    • E1: “Wealth Bond” records up to a certain percentage of damage taken by enemies under “Foretold.” When Cipher attacks an enemy target, it increases the damage the enemy target receives by a certain percentage for a certain number of turns.
    • E2: Cipher’s Follow-up Attack Damage increases by a certain percentage. After triggering a follow-up attack, Cipher restores a specific amount of energy.
    • E3: N/A
    • E4: When an ally attacks an enemy with “Foretold,” Cipher deals one instance of Quantum additional damage equal to a percentage of Cipher’s Attack to the enemy and its adjacent targets.
    • E5: N/A
    • E6: The damage dealt by Cipher increases to a percentage of the original damage. After using her Ultimate, Cipher regains a percentage of the last recorded “Wealth Bond” value.

Cipher’s leaked Eidolons in Honkai Star Rail don’t appear super strong at the moment, but they will likely change over the weeks up to her release. Currently, her Eidolons only increase the base multipliers of her, although her E2 is quite interesting. Her E2 gives Cipher extra energy each time she uses a Follow-up attack, which can be very strong for her kit in Follow-up attack teams.

So, that’s everything we currently know about Cipher in Honkai Star Rail. It appears that the demi-god thief is set to become a new meta character soon in Honkai Star Rail, so tell us in the comments if you are planning to save for Cipher in HSR 3.3.

  • Daredevil Born Again: How Did Muse Die and Who Killed Him in Marvel Comics?

Daredevil: Born Again has introduced us to Muse, a new villain who has caught the eye of the audience with his dark course of actions. In the previous episodes, we see that Muse is siphoning blood from his victims and uses it to create graffiti across New York City. However, in last week’s episode, Muse caught the eye of Wilson Fisk and Daredevil alike, and after the confrontation between Muse and Daredevil, he struck again in today’s episode, but things didn’t go well for Muse. So, with this article, let’s take a look at how Muse died in both Daredevil Born Again and in the Marvel comics while also talking about who killed him.

How Did Muse Die in Marvel Comics?

Image Credit: Marvel Studios (via YouTube/Marvel Entertainment, screenshot by Shashank Shakya/Beebom)

In Marvel Comics, Muse’s identity was never revealed to us. Moreover, Muse was active in NYC before Wilson Fisk became the mayor of the city. Majorly, Muse fought Blindspot and Daredevil. Blindspot was the one who discovered Muse’s first mural and started hunting him down, while Daredevil discovered his second mural.

Daredevil got close to catching Muse, but he threw a fake grenade at people, successfully distracting Daredevil and managed to escape. At last, Muse came face to face with Blindspot and after he lost the fight to him, Muse decided that death was better than being captured. Muse was not killed by anyone in Marvel comics, but he took his own life by walking into a fire and burning himself to death.

How Did Muse Die in Daredevil: Born Again?

In today’s episode of Daredevil Born Again, titled ” Art for Art’s Sake”, we see that Muse is none other than Heather Glenn’s patient, Bastian Cooper. He tries to kill Heather after she confronts him and attempts to use her blood to make a painting.

However, the Anti-vigilante Task Force, created by Wilson Fisk, arrives there, and so does Daredevil. Muse and Daredevil get in a fight, and just before Muse can use a knife on Daredevil, he is shot dead by Heather before she passes out due to blood loss. This was an entirely new sequence created for Daredevil Born Again, and considering how well it was carried out, one could only imagine how amazing it would have been if this were comic-accurate. So, let’s wait for the next episode and till then, stay tuned with us for more updates!

  • One Piece: Could This One Piece Villain Secretly Be an Ally?

If you have been closely following the One Piece story, you must have noticed a unique villain trend in recent times. Right from the Dressrosa arc, one of the major villains in the respective arc can be seen switching sides to become an ally. The most recent example of this case would be Stussy in the Egghead arc. We are seeing a similar trend with a newly introduced villain in the Elbaf arc, who is none other than Gunko. The God’s Knights are the main antagonists of the Elbaf arc, and out of all the members, Gunko is the current favorite to flip sides. Discover why Gunko could become an ally as suggested in the latest chapters of the One Piece manga.

Gunko the God’s Knights Member Could Switch Sides in One Piece

Gunko was recently introduced as a menacing adversary in the Elbaf arc, and she immediately stands out due to her special character design. Lately, we have seen Gunko’s laid-back side as their mission to abduct the giant kids is going well. In One Piece Chapter 1144, Gunko is listening to Brook, aka Soul King’s popular song called the “New World.” In case you aren’t aware, Brook composed and performed this song during the Return to Saboady Archipelago arc.

Oda is setting up a hilarious conflict between Brook and Gunko right now. These two characters are bound to meet in the upcoming chapters as the Straw Hats are set to rescue the giant kids from the invaders. Even the fans say Gunko’s character design is done on purpose, as she is a true Soul King fan. But what caught our attention was St. Sommers’s question when she was listening to music.

When Sommers asks Gunko about her favorite song, the latter replies with the New World song. Consequently, Sommers laughs and questions whether Gunko doesn’t like the current world she lives in. Now, this specific question raises concerns as this indicates that Gunko doesn’t like the current state of the world.

    Is Gunko a Revolutionary?

Now, the people who rebel against the current state of the world are the Revolutionary Army members. Interestingly, Gunko also has goggles on top of her hat, akin to the vital members of the Revolutionary Army. Oda’s design choices are always on point, and no other character has been seen with goggles on their hats except Gunko. So this little clue hints at Gunko’s possible connection with the rebellious army in One Piece.

If we go with the current trend, Gunko may betray her fellow God’s Knights members. Then, she can enroll in the Revolutionary Army in the upcoming arcs to make the change she wants to see in this world alongside them. Gunko fears Nika because people fear what they can’t understand. Maybe Luffy in his Nika form can instill hope and inspire Gunko to get her redemption in this arc.

There is one more case where things could be the other way around. Since Gunko was introduced without her family name, there is a chance that Gunko could already be a Revolutionary Member. Monkey D. Dragon once stated that the Revolutionary Army’s battle would start once the God’s Knights organization became active. Then, the leader could have let Gunko join the Holy Knights to act as a spy for them.

The God’s Knights members are the opponents of the Revolutionary Army in the final war, so Gunko’s association with both organizations will be exciting to follow. For me, Gunko as a spy of the Revolutionary Army sounds right and aligns with the character’s design. But Oda could twist things further and even make Gunko’s storyline as an ex-Revolutionary Army member who became a member of the God’s Knights.

Gunko’s character has so much potential, and she is already a fan-favorite character in the One Piece fandom. So, let’s patiently wait for Gunko’s backstory to be revealed in the Elbaf arc.

Until then, the theories keep coming up, and let us know your thoughts about Gunko becoming an ally in the comments below.

  • Is Capcom waiting for the Nintendo Switch 2 Direct to reveal Street Fighter 6 and Elena?

This week kicked off with the hope that we’d finally get to see Elena in Street Fighter 6 proper, but instead we got a new Rival Schools Fighting Pass.

What if we do still get to have a glimpse at the last Season 2 character very soon, however?

The big Nintendo Switch 2 Direct event is slated to take place tomorrow, April 2, starting at 6 a.m. PDT.

With a runtime of 60 minutes, fans are expecting to see at least some of the games planned for the Switch 2, and there’s been a lot of speculation going around lately about Street Fighter 6 potentially being among them.

The reported specs of the new console should be more than enough to run SF6 considering it’s already on the PlayStation 4, and it would make sense for Capcom to want to hop on the bandwagon early to get their flagship fighting game on the Switch 2.

This could finally serve as the avenue to get DLSS (deep learning super sampling) into Street Fighter 6, which has long been rumored to be a feature of the Switch 2’s NVIDIA GPU.

DLSS cuts down on system resources by using AI cores to generate higher quality images at lower internal resolutions to provide a significant performance boost, and though it’s become a popular feature of many PC games, most fighters aren’t using the tech yet outside of a few examples like Mortal Kombat 1.

If SF6 does come to the Switch 2, that could very well open the door to getting DLSS and super sampling on other platforms like PC as a potentially nice upgrade to many players.

If the company has been waiting for a big event to unveil Elena to the world, there is no larger event than the Nintendo Direct likely until at least June.

Considering there’s no Elena Arrives Fighting Pass this month, that means the final second season addition is likely coming in May now.

We’ve seen new Street Fighter 6 characters pop up before on PlayStation showcases and other broadcasts like the Summer Games Fest where they revealed the Season 2 pass (including Elena last year).

That being said, however, there’s also been plenty of times when Capcom has just shown off the trailers on their own with no warning.

So even if Street Fighter shows up at the Direct, that doesn’t guarantee Elena is going to be there too.

That would explain, though, why they completely skipped out on a reveal at Capcom Cup 11 if they are saving Elena for a different event.

She may not be coming this month, but Capcom does typically share the World Tour teaser 1–2 months before the character releases in SF6 with the only real exception being M. Bison.

So we’re still expecting to see Elena sometime in April in that form, and again, the Nintendo Direct would be the biggest place to do it.

Assuming that’ll be the case, we’ll then likely get her gameplay trailer at Evo Japan 2025 or some other time around late April to early May.

Right now, we’re rating Street Fighter 6’s chances of being revealed for the Switch 2 tomorrow around a medium level and Elena showing up a fair bit lower than that.

Either way, it’s going to be very interesting to see what sort of presence fighting games have on the Switch 2 out the gate since the Switch did feature a large number of ports across its life.

We’ll be learning more very soon.
