On Wednesday, Google introduced another key feature to its outstanding NotebookLM AI research tool. Besides local sources, you can now find and add relevant web sources directly within NotebookLM. Dubbed “Discover Sources,” this feature lets you describe the topic you are researching, and NotebookLM searches the web to curate relevant sources.
Once you have found useful sources, you can select and add them to your NotebookLM project to gather more information on the topic. To give you an example, if you are researching CPU performance in AI workloads and have already uploaded local sources, you can now expand your research and add more information from the web.
You can search how GPUs compare to CPUs in delivering better AI performance to build a broader knowledge base in your NotebookLM project. This way, you can gather new information and create an all-around project. Note that NotebookLM only offers 10 sources with annotated summaries for each web source.
Apart from that, NotebookLM now offers an “I’m Feeling Curious” button that picks a random topic and generates sources, allowing new users to understand how NotebookLM works. In addition, recently, Google added support for Mind Maps in NotebookLM.
The interactive Mind Map visually summarizes your sources to help you understand concepts through branching diagrams. You can understand the overall structure of the concept and key themes, letting you connect different ideas and their relationships.
In related news, Semafor reports that Google has reshuffled its AI leadership to make Gemini its leading AI product. Sissie Hsiao, who was leading Gemini, is being replaced by Josh Woodward, the head of Google Labs, who played a key role in launching NotebookLM. Since NotebookLM has gained traction under Woodward, it will be interesting to see how his leadership shapes Gemini’s future.

Gill, the leader of the Secret Society, better known as The Illuminati, are still active in Street Fighter 6, according to the game’s director, Takayuki Nakayama.
The Illuminati and Gill were first introduced in the 1997 release of Street Fighter 3: New Generation, and the main bad guys earned a spot in many gamers’ hearts and minds since that time.
Nakayama was asked if Gill and The Illuminati are still present and active in Street Fighter 6. “There’s a bit about them in the Rashid story (It’s an old story),” he wrote on X.
During Street Fighter 6’s World Tour, Rashid mentions his ancestors founded a kingdom, but it was a long time ago, before any of the people currently around were alive — at least, so he thinks.
Rashid notes that his ancestor’s kingdom got destroyed, as they were ambushed and driven off the land. The legend states the invaders had fair skin and golden hair, and flew banners split evenly in red and blue.
At that point, an image pops up which shows Gill riding on horseback with his horse having red and blue coverings around him, followed by an army with red and blue flags, which is obviously a reference to The Illuminati, pictured above.
Nakayama also states that The Illuminati have a sign in Beat Square in Metro City, so they must be active. The billboard is in blue and red text and talks about paradise and a balance between powers.
So while we do not know the specifics of what Gill and The Illuminati are up to at this time, it’s very clear they’re still at work, even if Necro and Effie managed to escape from their clutches.
Going further, Street Fighter 6’s director was asked about Lily and her ability to tap into the Satsui No Hado and what the future may hold for her and her tribe.
“If they go for strength, they will eventually meet Gill and the Illuminati. However, that is not now. That’s a little different from their beliefs,” Nakayama said.
It’s very clear there are numerous ties to multiple major characters in Street Fighter 6 that lead directly back to Gill and The Illuminati, so it should only be a matter of time before we hear from him and his organization again.
Lastly, Nakayama touched on the three people seen in Q’s ending for Street Fighter 3: Third Strike, as they had CFN profiles created for them a ways back. These three are trying to track down Q in the stills shown after you beat the game’s arcade mode with him.
“They are still searching for the mystery of ‘Q’. They are being watched closely by upper management for the use of their huge budget,” wrote Nakayama.
You can also read our thoughts on who the playable characters from Street Fighter 3 could be in the future, based on story cues and popularity polls.

Fans have been longing for the release date announcement of the upcoming CSM movie and the Japanese release date was revealed at the Anime Japan 2025 event recently. As expected, the international release date for Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc has been shared today by MAPPA Studios.
Sony Pictures has secured the rights for the theatrical release of Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc around the world. Thus, during the Sony presentation at CinemaCon 2025, it was revealed that the Chainsaw Man Reze Arc movie will be released in the United States on October 29, 2025.
Now the MAPPA Studios production staff have announced the release dates of the upcoming CSM movie for over 80 countries on X (formerly Twitter). Furthermore, this movie will be released on October 29 and 30 in European, African, and Middle Eastern countries same as the US release.

There has been a weird glitch with Apple’s latest iOS 18.4 update. A subset of users have observed that apps previously deleted from their iPhones ‘magically’ reappeared. Many have taken to Reddit as well as social media platforms, and even Apple’s support pages to share their experiences.
iOS 18.4 Glitch Brings Back Deleted Apps on iPhones
For the past twenty-four hours, we have observed that a wide range of iPhone users are reporting issues regarding the apps and games that they had uninstalled on their phones are resurfacing post the update to iOS 18.4. A few of the users claim that these apps are unrecognizable to them.
The problem seems to stem from a bug with iOS 18.4’s latest version. Apple had launched this version a few days back on Monday where they added some features along with a couple of tweaks. This issue however, appears to be a step backwards is puzzling for a lot of people.
Does Not Have to Do With Automatic Downloads
Initially, some assumed the problem might be due to Apple’s ‘Automatic Downloads’ setting. This option downloads apps that have been purchased on one Apple device and installs them on all devices which use the same user ID. The majority of users claiming to be affected do not own other Apple devices. Hence this would suggest that the problem is not related to the Automatic Download.
Furthermore, other users who have never jailbroken their phones and use only the App Store for downloading apps are experiencing the problem which shows that the bug stems directly from the iOS update.
Potential Reasons and How Apple Responded
The exact cause of this bug remains unclear. Some users believe Apple’s cloud backup system restores old app data, leading to the issue. Others think it affects only certain device models or regions, as not everyone encounters the problem.
Apple has yet to issue an official statement. For the time being, customers can cope with the problem by erasing the apps that keep coming back, and doing so repeatedly. Most people await an update from Apple that would solidly resolve the problem.
What Comes Next
For those who are impacted, reaching out to Apple Support can help. This has the potential of leading to swifter solutions. For now, people need to monitor their app library to make sure they erase any apps they do not wish to have, at least for the time being. An impending release is expected from Apple.

Just a few days ago, Tekken 8 released its major Season 2 balance patch which also included the release of Anna Williams, the second season’s first additional character.
It didn’t take long for players to voice their dissatisfaction with the changes leading to overwhelmingly negative reviews on Tekken 8’s steam page and this morning, the Tekken team have released a statement on their official X account.
While there were many points of contention regarding Tekken 8’s second season, one of the biggest issues came specifically from changes to Paul and JACK-8 and these issues seem to have been unintended.
This is the first point brought up in the X post, specifying that Paul’s Hammer of the Gods was not intended to lead to a guaranteed follow-up on block and that JACK-8’s Jab Elbow > Make Some Noise having its third hit be uninterruptible will also be adressed.
Fighters,
we are aware of the current community feedback regarding #TEKKEN8 Season 2. We are carefully reviewing the balance of the game; expect more information about these changes soon.
In addition, an emergency patch will be released in April to adress the following issues pic.twitter.com/Gvet0IOISu
The patch addressing these emergency issues is stated to be released at some point in mid-to-late April, so within the month but likely not within the next two weeks.
These are labeled “high priority issues” by the team and will thus be addressed as promptly as possible.
Further, they state that they will “continue to carefully review and respond to feedback from the community” and will provide detailed information on any changes as soon as they are confirmed.
Even after the release of patch 2.00.02, we will continue to carefully review and respond to feedback from the community.
We will provide detailed information and the release date as soon as they are confirmed.
Although getting these unintended issues solved quickly is definitely a good thing, the overall reception to Tekken 8’s balance direction as a whole has not been particularly well-received, with many players feeling that the team have doubled down on many of the aggressive aspects fans already were not fond of in the game’s first season.
It remains to be seen what the team’s direction for Season 2 will be after this wave of feedback and whether this backlash truly does represent the community at large.
Given that many of the game’s pro players such as five-time Evo champion TM|Arslan Ash have been quick to express their unfavorable opinions about the patch, there are definitely a lot of eyes on Bandai Namco and their Tekken 8 development team at the moment.
How do you feel about Tekken 8’s Season 2 patch a few days in, notwithstanding these unintended problems relating to Paul and JACK-8? Let us know in the comments.

The Nintendo Switch 2 is finally here, and with such pricey tech in your hands, you would want the best protection for it. As the Switch 2 is bigger in dimensions than the original, finding the right fit for your console can be a bit of a hassle. So, if you can’t wait to preorder the Switch 2, consider pairing it with a firm case to preserve your investment. Here is a list of some of the best cases for the Nintendo Switch 2 that will go perfectly with your handheld.
1. Dbrand Switch 2 Killswitch
If you are looking for an overall solution for protection for the Nintendo Switch 2, the Dbrand Killswitch is a perfect bundle for you. The Dbrand Switch 2 bundle comes in a complete package that includes a Killswitch Case, OEM Dock Adapter, Travel Cover, Game Card Holder, Stick Grips, and Skin Screen Protectors.
The Joy-Cons 2 are also comfortably detachable and have a firm grip. You can select specific accessories from the bundle or get the full one for complete protection. The Killswitch case also works with the Dock, so you won’t need to take the case off for TV mode usage. The reservation price is $3, but the final price will, of course, be higher.
2. Spigen Rugged Armor
If sturdiness is more important to you, the Spigen Rugged Armor case for the Switch 2 is the best choice. This premium TPU case protects your Switch 2 from shocks and drops and features sleek carbon fiber detailing for a custom look.
Its ergonomic, textured grip ensures a solid hold during gameplay. Precise cutouts allow full access to controls and ports, and a wrist strap is included for portability. However, the case does not provide the option to remove Joy-Cons, and the case must be removed before docking to the TV.
3. Jsaux Split Protective Case
Crafted from rigid, wear-resistant materials, the Jsaux Split Protective case protects your Nintendo Switch 2, shielding the screen, edges, and back from drops, scratches, and daily impacts. Its clever modular split design allows for easy Joy-Con 2 detachment, making transitions between handheld and TV modes effortless. Installation and removal are hassle-free.
Enjoy comfortable, long gaming sessions with the ergonomic grip and maintain optimal performance thanks to precise cutouts for all ports and a breathable design aligned with the console’s heat dissipation areas. The case does not miss out on aesthetics, as it provides a transparent design.
4. Jsaux Ergonomic Battle Armor Protective Case
Similar to the Split protective case, Battle Armor does not compromise on the style department. However, justifying the name Battle Armor, this case provides more protection overall. Even in terms of ergonomics, this case is better.
The only issue with the Jsaux Ergonomic Battle Armor Protective Case is the lack of direct dock support. You must take off the cover to use it on a dock. Moreover, your Joy-Con 2 won’t be detachable if you are using this case. But what matters more is that if you are an extensive hardcore gamer, you will need solid ergonomics like the Battle Armor.
5. NINKI Silicone Cover
Silicone covers are not the best for protection, but they are a perfect fit in the style department. The NINKI Silicone Cover is designed exclusively for the Nintendo Switch 2 (2025), ensuring precise port and button compatibility.
It is constructed from TPU and PC materials. It offers dual-layer protection against drops and scratches while maintaining a sleek profile. The case features enhanced corner cushions, raised edges for shockproof defense, a built-in kickstand, and an ergonomic design for comfortable gameplay. If you want my opinion on this, go for the white one.
6. Jsaux Split Transparent Ergonomic Protective Case
If protection is your least priority and all you care about is the style, Jsaux has a crystal-clear solution. No, literally. You can get the Jsaux Split Transparent Ergonomic Protective Case that comes with a perfect transparent style.
It helps you showcase all the aesthetics of the Switch successor easily. Despite such a sleek design, the ergonomics are not compromised in this case. You also get the easy Joy-Con 2 removal and dockable features that keep you from having to take off the case frequently.
7. WUNIAK Silicone Case
The silicone case from WUNIAK is all about style, which is why it is the cheapest option. For an investment of under $10, you get soft, durable, elastic silicone material providing complete protection against scratches, bumps, anti-shock, and anti-slip.
The surface is treated with a special oil spray for anti-fingerprint and dustproof solutions. Moreover, the Joy-Con 2 is detachable, which fits the new Nintendo controller.
And these are all the best Switch 2 cases you can get to protect your new handheld. As not all of the cases support the dock system, choose yours carefully according to your needs. Do you like any of these cases? Tell us in the comments section below.
