  • How to Complete Limited Time Sea 1 Animals Bestiary in Fisch

Fisch is up with another interesting update that brings a lot of new and limited fishes that look like something out of a mad scientist’s laboratory. All the fishes introduced in this update have the head of a certain animal while their body is completely fishy. Players will find these Fisch Animal Hunt fishes in both the first and second seas. In this guide, let’s talk about the first. So keep reading as we tell you how to complete the Sea 1 Animals Bestiary in Fisch right here.

Full List of Sea 1 Animals Bestiary in Fisch

Note: As of writing this, the Fisch Animal Hunt event has been live for an hour. As of now, we are still catching all Sea 1 animal fishes to finish the bestiary. Rest assured, we will update the list below with weather, time and bait conditions for all fishes as we get them.

Now, as you can guess, the First Sea 1 animals bestiary in Fisch will be found on the first Moosewood Island, where you first spawn in the game. While the Sea 1 animals in Fisch are spawning in random locations in the first sea, we do have some sort of a fix. In our experience, it’s best to head off toward Roslit Bay, located to the West of Moosewood.

In certain intervals, a text message will appear on top stating that “An Animal Pool has spawned near the area.” So once it happens, make sure you are ready with your boat to explore the nearby waters.

Since time is of the essence here, consider all the best Fisch rods to catch the 10 fishes in this bestiary. Compared to the Sea 2 animals bestiary, you will find the fishes here to be stronger and harder to catch. With that said, here is the list of the Sea 1 Animal fishes

    • Zebrafishlet: 8% Progress Speed
    • Duckfin Tuna: 7% Progress Speed
    • Cluckfin: 5% Progress Speed
    • Squirrelray: 3% Progress Speed
    • Piglet Pike: -4% Progress Speed
    • Porcufish: -15% Progress Speed
    • Piranhamunk: -45% Progress Speed
    • Salmoose: -50% Progress Speed
    • Mained Lionfish: -55% Progress Speed
    • Seacow: -85% Progress Speed

Best Tips and Tricks to Complete Sea 1 Animals Bestiary in Fisch

The Sea 1 Animals bestiary is filled with strong fishes that will put a heavy progress speed penalty on your rod once hooked. Therefore, you will need some of the best fishing rods in Fisch with good Resilience and Lure speed to get them faster than all other players:

    1. Best Rods for Sea 1 Animals Bestiary

One of the best choices to go with during this event is the Ethereal Prism Rod or the Seraphic Rod if you have crossed the level cap of 1000. Furthermore, you can consider using the Rod of the Forgotten Fang or the Tempest Rod as well due to their impressive passives. While the former gives you a free fish on every three perfect catches, the latter will reduce the progress speed a lot.

For the beginners and mid game players I would recommend going with the Rod of the Depths or the No-Life Rod for a faster completion.

    2. Best Baits for Sea 1 Animals Bestiary

Talking about baits, there are a good variety of these in the first sea, including the Seaweeds, Corals, Deep Corals or the Rapid Catchers. While the first three will boost up your Resilience stat, the last one will help you increase the Lure Speed if you want instant catches.

You will need the first three baits for all the rods that have Lure above 90 and the last Rapid Catcher bait for the Rod of the Depths. Consider spending some time in the Fisch AFK Mine or redeem the latest Fisch codes for some easy and free baits.

    3. Use the Best Enchants for Sea 1 Animals Bestiary

Coming to what enchants to apply to the rods we have mentioned above, you can go with Steady, Blessed Song, Quality, or Resilient. All the enchants except Resilient are for the higher tier rods as they are well balanced and don’t require a lot of boosts in their stats.

While for the Rod of the Depths and the No-Life Rod, you can consider the Resilient enchant, since both of them lack in that particular aspect.

    4. Best Rod, Bait, and Enchant Combo for Sea 1 Animals Bestiary

Finally, you can use a combination of Ethereal Prism Rod with the Steady/Blessed Song Enchant and Corals as baits. This is a perfect build to catch all the fishes as soon as possible. Although, this is for all the end-game players, there might be a different combination that worked for your.

And that’s how you complete the Sea 1 animals bestiary in Fisch. Did you enjoy all our tips and suggestions? Did it help you in your catches? Let us know in the comments below!

  • How to Complete Sea 2 Animals Bestiary in Fisch

In the brand new Fisch Animal Fish Takeover update, we have been introduced to a brand new collection of grotesque creatures that have the head of an animal and the body of a fish. No matter how humorous and unnatural these things look, you can fish for them easily with your fishing rods and show them off to your friends. However, this time around, the animal fish bestiary has been divided into both the First and Second Seas. In this guide, we will be focusing on the latter. So join us as we show you how to complete the Second Sea Animal Bestiary in Fisch right here.

Full List of Sea 2 Animals Bestiary in Fisch

The very first thing you must know about the limited animal bestiary in Sea 2 is that you must be level 250 and above to begin. This is because, like its name, the bestiary resides in the Fisch Second Sea. So, begin by getting to the Second Sea and clearing the Cthulhu boss fight at the Terrapin island in Fisch.

Once you have won the boss fight, you will get transported to the second sea in Fisch, or you can talk to the Sea Traveler NPC to do so. Having reached the new world, simply spawn a boat and head towards the Lushgrove island at these coordinates: XYZ= 1133, 105, -560.

The Fisch Animal pool area will spawn on the waters near this island. So, make sure you are keeping an eye out for the text message saying “An Animal Pool has spawned near the area.” Do note that just like other Fisch events, the limited animal fisch bestiary will spawn for a limited time, so do be quick.

Once the message drops, explore the area and you will locate it quickly from its characteristic yellow beam reaching the sky. Now, you can catch 9 limited fishes here, including the Siren Sheep and Krabbit. That said, here is the list of all the fish you can get in the limited animal fish bestiary:

Best Tips and Tricks to Complete the Sea 2 Animals Bestiary in Fisch

The fishes in the Animal Bestiary don’t have really high progress speed penalties and therefore, can be easily caught with all the low-tier rods in the Second Sea. Feel free to check the list of best Fisch rods if you’re confused about which ones to use. You can now follow the tips given below to complete the bestiary:

    1. Best Rods for Sea 2 Animals Bestiary

As discussed earlier, the Animal bestiary of the Second Sea has easy-to-catch fish. So, consider using the Azure of Lagoon Rod, Free Spirit Rod, Ethereal Prism Rod, or the Abyssal Specter Rod.

The rods from the Second Sea have enough Lure so that you can catch fishes rapidly, and the ones from the first sea have enough Resilience such that even when the stats are nerfed, they won’t be affected majorly.

    2. Best Baits for Sea 2 Animals Bestiary

Moving on to what baits to use, consider using Seaweed since not only will it provide a Resilience and Lure boost, but two of the fish from the bestiary also prefer this bait. Apart from Seaweed, you can go with Bagels, Flakes, or Phantom Leeches that you get from the AFK mine.

Furthermore, consider redeeming the latest Fisch codes to get some free baits. Want even more help? Check out our Fisch bait guide.

    3. Use the Best Enchants for Sea 2 Animals Bestiary

The fishing rods mentioned above are well-balanced, and they would never go wrong if you apply some ideal enchants to them. Consider applying the Hasty enchant to the Second Sea rods while the Resilient or Mystical enchant to the ones from the First Sea.

To achieve this, you will obviously require a decent stack of Enchant Relics and Exalted Relics since they are applied at random. Furthermore, do check out all Fisch enchantments for further help.

    4. Best Rod, Bait, and Enchant Combo for Sea 2 Animals Bestiary

Lastly, the best combination you can go with is the Free Spirit Rod with Hasty enchant and for baits you can use the Seaweed to boost up the Resilience. Any other combination might certainly work for you, however from my experience, these are the few rods, baits and enchants that work the best.

And that’s how you complete the Second Sea Animal Bestiary in Fisch. So, did our tips help you in getting all these fishes easily and quickly? Do let us know in the comments below!

  • Microsoft Upgrades Copilot with New AI Features

Microsoft has released a significant update to their AI assistant Copilot, which now includes Copilot Vision, Copilot Search, and Copilot Memory. With these additions, Microsoft aims to enhance Copilot’s usefulness and ease of navigation in daily tasks.

Microsoft Updates Copilot with Powerful New Features

Copilot Vision is now unlocked on smartphones, with iOS and Android devices included. The most recent update added AI-powered cameras for real-time analysis of physical objects. This tool was previously available on Microsoft Edge; users could use AI to analyze webpage content.

You can also scan the plant with your camera. In turn, Copilot can tell you if the plant looks healthy and suggest how to care for it. This feature transforms your phone into a camera which can analyze objects and provide insights thanks to AI.

Rather than simply returning an endless list of search results, the second tool, Copilot Search, enhances the online information search experience by summarizing the answers. It gathers information from different parts of the web, adds images, and cites authoritative voices, ensuring users get prompt and concise responses to their questions.

The third new tool is Copilot Memory. With this function, the assistant is capable of remembering your routines and preferences. It can learn things such as your favorite dishes, the movies you watch, or even important dates like birthdays and anniversaries. For example, it could remind you about an occasion or automatically schedule flower orders. Gradually, it evolves into a personal assistant that is aware of what you require and when you require it.

Microsoft is striving to achieve Copilot superintelligence, operating not as helper, but in a fully proactive capability. These updates enhance Copilot into more than an assistant.

AI companions or personal is yet another Copilot’s reincarnation with the aim of improving efficiency and efficacy in task execution.

Clarifying Microsoft’s goal here is self explanatory. They intend for Copilot to experience routine integration across various activities, may it be surfing the net, operating phone cameras, or scheduling Copilot’s support.

  • New Devil May Cry animated series features fun Street Fighter cameo

After years of waiting, the Netflix Devil May Cry animated series is finally here and on the scene.

And if you’re wondering if there’s any references or cameos of other Capcom franchises in the Devil May Cry show, the answer is yes.

Some minor spoilers for Devil May Cry episode 2 may follow.

In the second episode of the DMC series, a group of mercenaries are sent to capture Dante and his necklace, and that goes about as well as you’d expect for them.

Dante is shown to have multiple arcade cabinets in his apartment somehow, and at least one of them works — or at least it did.

During the brawl, one of the mercs attempts to run away but is grabbed by the demon hunter, and then we suddenly see Street Fighter 2.

On the arcade cabinet, Ken is shown giving a Shoryuken to M. Bison followed by Mr. Masters’ win pose with the ‘Perfect!’ sound effect.

This is of course just a fun little reference to another Capcom property, but it’s still cool to see nonetheless.

The Ken inclusion could also be a little tribute to Dante’s previous voice actor as well.

Reuben Langdon voiced Dante starting in Devil May Cry 3 as well as spin-offs like Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3, but that’s not all.

Langdon also voiced Ken Masters starting in Street Fighter 4, which he continued to do for over a decade until Street Fighter 6 where he did not reprise his role again.

Now, Johnny Yong Bosch provides the voice of Dante in the show, who was previously the actor of Nero in the Devil May Cry games.

If there’s any other Capcom references in the new show, we’re not sure because we haven’t gotten any further in the series yet.

You can check out the Street Fighter clip below around the 1:04 mark if it doesn’t start there automatically.

  • How to Complete Octophant Bestiary in Fisch

The Animal Fish Takeover event in Fisch has brought about a lot of comical changes in the game. As such, we have a lot of animal-shaped fishes to catch this time. However, some of these fishes are in the new Octophant bestiary, an area that not only houses the Octophant boss but a lot more amazing stuff. Want to take a dip and catch them yourself? Keep reading as we detail how to finish the Octophant bestiary in Fisch right here.

Full List of Octophant Bestiary in Fisch

The Octophant bestiary will only be available when fishing in the Octophant boss pool in Fisch. For that, you must spawn the Octophant boss on your server. You will find this creature only in the Second Sea; therefore, you must be above level 250 to catch the fish of the bestiary.

To get to the Second Sea, you must defeat the Cthulhu boss at the Terrapin Island. Finally, talking with the Sea Traveler NPC will transport you to the second sea. Once there, spawn a boat and sail towards the Lushgrove island at these coordinates: XYZ= 1133, 105, -560. Don’t know how to get there? Get a GPS in Fisch first.

The Elephant Octopus will spawn near the waters of this island. If you want to speed up this process, make sure to carry a bunch of Tempest and Smokescreen Totems. Spam them alternatively, and the monster will spawn. Use your boat to explore the area and locate the huge elephant head with a bubble around it.

Fishing inside this bubble will give you access to all 6 fishes of the Octophant bestiary, including the Limited Octophant itself. Once there, you must sail west of the starter island to reach Lushgrove Island. With that, here are all the fishes in the Octophant bestiary:

Best Tips and Tricks to Complete Octophant Bestiary in Fisch

Since there are just six fishes in all, you can get all of them quickly in no time if you use some of the best rods in Fisch. Furthermore, get preferred baits with the highest stats for additional boosts. Now, you will get a better idea from the tips as stated below:

    1. Best Rods for Octophant Bestiary

The Octophant boss pool consists of a couple of fish, like the Orcanda and the Flamangler, that put a high negative progress speed penalty while reeling them in. So, it becomes crucial to equip yourself with decent Resilience rods. Alternatively, you can use one with high Lure and cope with the Resilience part using better baits.

Therefore, I will highly recommend using the Azure of Lagoon Rod due to its high resilience, or get the Great Dreamer Rod due to its high lure. Other than the second sea rods, you can try the Abyssal Specter Rod or the Ethereal Prism Rod, however they will receive -50% major nerfs.

    2. Best Baits for Octophant Bestiary

Some of the best baits to finish the Octophant bestiary are Seaweed, Phantom Leech, and Lagoon Leech. These are easily available by buying Tropical bait crates from the First and Second Seas, respectively. Furthermore, you can get inside the AFK mine to get some baits while you don’t play the game.

Furthermore, consider redeeming the latest Fisch codes to get some baits for free. All the above baits will increase your resilience, lure, and luck, so you can focus on choosing a rod with a better Lure. Also check out our Fisch bait guide for more help.

    3. Use the Best Enchants for Octophant Bestiary

When it comes to what enchants you can use on your rod, consider stacking up lots of Enchant relics and Exalted relics so that you can apply the suitable one. For the above rods, you can use either Hasty, Resilient, or Mystical on all of them to boost your rod stats.

    4. Best Rod, Bait, and Enchant Combo for Octophant Bestiary

Finally, the perfect combination for the Octophant bestiary can be when you use the Azure of Lagoon Rod, enchanted with Hasty, and for baits, you can go with Seaweed or Phantom Leech. This was the rod I used to complete the whole bestiary.

There’s always a different combination that might work for you, but the options we suggested are the best among them all. And that’s how you complete the Octophant bestiary in Fisch. So, have you caught all of these fishes in the game? Let us know in the comments below!

Escoffier is rumored to be the new Cryo Support healer in Genshin Impact. Escoffier’s kit has been leaked on Reddit, and it reveals that it is an off-field Cryo applier with excellent healing abilities. Her Elemental Skill summons a Cooking Mek that follows the active character and hits nearby enemies with Cryo damage.

Her Ultimate deals AoE Cryo damage and straight-up heals all party members based on her Attack. The best part about Escoffier’s kit is her third passive, which reduces the Hydro and Cryo Resistance of enemies based on the number of Hydro or Cryo characters in the party.

This is the full leaked kit overview for Escoffier in Genshin Impact:

Escoffier Normal Attack — Kitchen Skills

    • Normal Attack: Performs up to 3 consecutive Spear Strikes.
    • Charged Attack: Performs an upward strike after consuming a certain amount of Stamina.
    • Plunging Attack: Plunges from mid-air to strike the ground below, damaging opponents along the path and dealing AoE DMG upon impact.

Escoffier Elemental Skill — Low-Temperature Cooking

    • Tap: Activates her All-Spectrum Multi-Use Cooking Mek in its Cold Storage mode and deals AoE Cryo Damage to nearby opponents.
    • Hold: Activates her Cooking Mek’s Off-the-Cuff Cookery mode.
    • Cooking Mek: Follows the current active character and fires Frosty Parfaits at nearby opponents at intervals, dealing Cryo Damage.
    • Arkhe: Ousia: At intervals, Escoffier will summon a Surging Blade when activating her Cooking Mek in Cold Storage mode, dealing Ousia-aligned AoE Cryo Damage.

Genshin Impact Escoffier Elemental Burst — Scoring Cuts

Escoffier deals AoE Cryo damage and restores HP to all nearby party members based on her Attack stat.

    Escoffier Passives in Genshin Impact

    • Constant Off-the-Cuff Cookery: When using the Hold form of her Elemental Skill Low-Temperature Cooking, Escoffier will activate her All-Spectrum Multi-Use Cooking Mek in its Off-the-Cuff Cookery mode.
      • Cooking Mek: Off-the-Cuff Cookery Mode: Places the Cooking mek on the field. The Cooking Mek can absorb elemental attacks. When the absorbed elemental energy hits a certain limit, Escoffier can convert the ingredients placed within it into delicious dishes. Escoffier needs time to purchase new ingredients. After making a certain number of dishes, 7 days will pass before more can be made.
    • Better to Salivate than Medicate: After using the Elemental Burst Scoring Cuts, Escoffier will obtain the Rehab Diet effect for 9 seconds. Restores HP for nearby active characters at intervals based on 138.24% of Escoffier’s ATK.
    • Inspiration-Immersed Seasoning: When the party has 1/2/3/4 Hydro or Cryo characters in the party, Escoffier will decrease the Hydro RES and Cryo RES of any opponents hit by her Elemental Skill, Low-Temperature Cooking, or her Elemental Burst by 5%/10%/15%/55% for 12 seconds.

    Genshin Impact Escoffier Constellation Leaks

Escoffier’s Constellations have also leaked on Reddit. Here are her leaked constellations, so take a closer look at them:

    • C1 (Pre-Dinner Dance for Your Taste Buds): When all party members are Hydro or Cryo, all nearby party members will have Crit Damage of their Cryo Damage increased by 60% within 15 seconds after Escoffier uses her Elemental Skill or Elemental Burst. You must first unlock the Passive Talent “Inspiration-Immersed Seasoning.”
    • C2 (Fresh, Fragrant Stew Is an Art): When Escoffier activates her Cooking Mek in its Cold Storage mode, she gains the “Freshly-Prepped Delicacy” effect for 15 seconds. During this time, Escoffier will gain 5 Cold Dish stacks. When nearby active characters apart from Escoffier deal Cryo Damage, they will expend 1 Cold Dish stack to increase their Damage dealt by 240% of Escoffier’s Attack. If you hit multiple opponents with a single instance of Cryo Damage, Cold Dish stacks will be consumed based on the number of opponents hit.
    • C3 (The Bakery Magic of Caramel Browning): Increases Elemental Skill Level by 3.
    • C4 (Secret Rosemary Recipe): Rehab Diet lasts 6 more seconds. While it is active, you have a chance of healing 100% extra HP and restoring 2 Energy to Escoffier when you trigger healing through Rehab Diet. This chance corresponds to Escoffier’s CRIT Rate. You can trigger this effect 7 times during any one Rehab Diet‘s duration. You must first unlock the Passive Talent “Better to Salivate Than Medicate.”
    • C5 (Symphony of a Thousand Sauces): Increases Elemental Burst Level by 3.
    • C6 (Tea Parties Bursting With Color): Cooking Mek: Cold Storage Mode is enhanced. When your party’s active character’s Normal, Charged, or Plunging Attacks hit opponents, Cooking Mek: Cold Storage Mode will fire off another Special-Grade Frozen Parfait, dealing 350% of Escoffier’s Attack as AoE Cryo Damage. This damage is considered Elemental Skill Damage. This effect can be triggered once every 0.5s, and this effect can be triggered 6 times within the duration of one Cooking Mek: Cold Storage Mode.

Escoffier can be the Cryo support that Freeze teams need to excel in the current meta. She can be a very strong healer, and her Cryo and Hydro resistance shred is a cherry on top for Freeze teams. However, Escoffier’s leaked kit can still change a lot, so bookmark our post to stay updated on any changes made to her kit.

  • Who Should You Pull In Honkai Star Rail 3.2: Ranked By Priority

Honkai Star Rail 3.2 is absolutely stacked with extremely strong new and rerun characters. The banners will feature six 5-star characters, two of them being new and having very unique abilities that are hard to overlook. The rerun characters are also extremely strong, featuring some of the strongest DPS and Support characters in the game. So, it is likely that you will be confused about who to pull for in Honkai Star Rail 3.2. Should you pull Anaxa or Castorice? Don’t worry, as this guide will help you understand the pull priority for characters in HSR 3.2.

    6. Dr. Ratio — Skip

Image Credit: Hoyoverse (via YouTube/HonkaiStarRail, screenshot by Sanmay Chakrabarti/Beebom)

Dr. Ratio is the last in the priority pull order for Honkai Star Rail 3.2 banners. He is an Imaginary single-target DPS who can dish out decent Follow-up attack damage. However, Dr. Ratio has scaled pretty terribly over time since he was first released as a free 5-star character. He is not among the top DPS characters in the game, and spending your limited Stellar Jades on him will be a massive loss in my opinion. The only reason you should pull Dr. Ratio is if you really like his personality and didn’t receive him for free like the rest of us.

    5. Jiaoqiu — Acheron Enabler

Jiaoqiu is a decent Nihility Debuffer who is excellent in Pure Fiction. He can apply AoE debuffs on enemies without wasting a Skill point at the start of the battle, and can decently reduce their defenses. However, Jiaoqiu doesn’t have great synergy with most of the other DPS characters in the game. Jiaoqiu is only rated as an Acheron support, massively increasing the damage output for Acheron teams. He allows Acheron to recharge her Ultimate very frequently, and is slowly becoming a must-pull for Acheron teams with the changing meta. You should only pull Jiaoqiu in Honkai Star Rail 3.2 if you already have a completely built Acheron in your character roster.

    4. Anaxa — Erudition Support and Applies Weaknesses

Anaxa is one of the new 5-star characters in Honkai Star Rail 3.2, and he has a very unique ability that sets him apart from others. Anaxa can apply all the weaknesses available in the game to all enemies using his Ultimate, which can be massively overpowered in specific scenarios. He is a huge upgrade from Silver Wolf, forcing Hoyoverse to buff Silver Wolf in HSR 3.4. Anaxa is also an Erudition support and can massively increase the damage output of The Herta and Argenti teams. Overall, Anaxa is a decent pull choice in Honkai Star Rail 3.2.

    3. Fugue — Extremely Strong Break Support

Fugue is one of the strongest Break Support in Honkai Star Rail. If you have a Break Team, or are looking to make one, then Fugue is an absolute must-pull for you. She, alongside Ruan Mei, keeps the Break teams in the meta. Other than that, Fugue is also a good support for most other teams, decreasing the Defenses of enemies easily while also allowing the team to deal double Break Damage.

If you like characters like Firefly, Boothill, or Rappa, then I suggest you pull Fugue in Honkai Star Rail 3.2 banners. With so many good characters on the banner, your Stellar Jade stocks are likely already looking empty. Check out Honkai Star Rail codes and refill your Stellar Jade stocks before HSR 3.2 drops.

    2. Acheron — SS-Tier DPS

    Acheron Honkai Star Rail
Image Credit: Hoyoverse (via YouTube/HonkaiStarRail, screenshot by Sanmay Chakrabarti/Beebom)

Acheron is considered the strongest DPS in Honkai Star Rail, although it might be short-lived due to Castorice releasing soon. She is an Emanator of Nihility and, like her title, she can absolutely delete enemies with her Ultimate. Acheron is also one of the easiest characters to use in Honkai Star Rail, and she still has a long shelf life. If you are looking for a strong DPS to carry you through MoC, then you should definitely get Acheron.

However, Acheron does require good Nihility supports to work well in Honkai Star Rail. If you don’t have good Nihility supports, try pulling for Jiaoqiu after pulling Acheron and use 4-star characters like Pela or Guinaifen as supports.

    1. Castorice — Absolute Must-Pull

    Castorice honkai Star rail
Image Credit: Hoyoverse/Honkai Star Rail (screenshot by Sanmay Chakrabarti/Beebom)

Castorice is an absolute must-pull in Honkai Star Rai, even if you don’t play to build her in the game. She is the first character that feature a global passive ability, allowing her to revive teammates even when she is not on the team. So, with Castorice in your character roster, you basically have a free get-out-of-jail card for all your Honkai Star Rail teams. Once you pull Castorice in Honkai Star Rail 3.2, none of the characters will die in the game as long as you have a good healer or shield that can heal or secure them after Castorice’s passive is triggered.

But that’s not all, as Castorice will most likely also be the strongest DPS character in the game after her release. She can act both as a DPS and a sustain for teams. Once Castorice is properly built, she can annihilate enemies with her memosprite “Netherwing.”

  • WhatsApp Testing Mute and Video Off Options for Calls

Last month, we talked about WhatsApp bringing the ability to set the app as the default calling option on iPhones. But before that comes to fruition, the app is working on further refining its calling experience by introducing a new mute option, an option to turn off the camera before picking a call, and emoji reactions for video calls.

As per WABetaInfo, the WhatsApp Beta version 2.25.10.16 for Android brings new calling enhancements. As you can tell from the screenshots, the app will now show a Mute option in the notification shade during an ongoing call. Currently, it only shows the end call button, and you need to open the app to mute it.

WhatsApp will also bring a much-needed option to turn off your video before taking incoming video calls. This way, you can choose to keep the video off, in case you are not in a situation to take the call. This is one of those minor things that we all have wanted for quite a while, since you cannot turn off video unless you pick up the call as of now.

Last but not least, the app will also introduce emoji reactions for video conferences. It will let you react with up to 6 different emojis, making video calls more engaging and fun. I feel it will be especially useful in group calls, where you will be able to quickly show your agreement with a thumbs-up emoji.

All these new features are currently available to a limited number of beta users. But they will make their way to your devices in the upcoming months. These are some minor improvements that will go a long way toward enhancing your WhatsApp experience in the long term. I am glad the company is focusing on such things.
