  • Dead Rails Weapons Tier List: The Best Weapons Ranked

Weapons will be your best friend during your entire run in Dead Rails. Since the whole area is suffering from a zombie outbreak, including monsters and bandits, it becomes essential to carry arms for your own safety. Fortunately, Dead Rails offers us many options to choose from. However, like all weapons, some can be more useful than others. Confused about which one to pick? Keep reading as we list the best ones in our Dead Rails weapons tier list here.

Dead Rails Weapons Tier List: Overview

Image Credit: Dead Rails/Tiermaker (edited by Bipradeep Biswas/Beebom)

There are a total of 20 weapons in Dead Rails that can be bought at the shop, found across the barren lands, or bought using game passes. Moreover, certain Dead Rails classes allow you to spawn with some unique weapons as well.

Some of these are really flexible and useful in both solo and multiplayer runs and hence rank at the highest tier, the S-Tier. Next comes the A-Tier, where you will find slightly inferior weapons, and this trend goes on till the D-Tier, where you will find the most basic items that aren’t really helpful and don’t do much damage.

    S-Tier

The S-Tier holds the best-in-class weapons currently present in Dead Rails. This includes the Electrocutioner Gun that inflicts the highest damage of 100, thereby instantly killing any monster except for Nikola Tesla boss. So, here are the best S-Tier weapons in Dead Rails:

    Weapon Name Damage Description Cost
    Electrocutioner Gun 100 Ammo: 20
    Fire Rate: 1 sec
    Reload using Lightning strikes
Found After Clearing the Tesla Lab
    Rifle 60/120 Ammo: 6
    Fire Rate: 0.5 sec
    Long Range Damage
    75
    Shotgun 24×5/40×5 Ammo: 6
    Fire Rate: 0.5 sec
    Short Range Damage
    50

Among these, the Rifle and the Shotgun are the best weapons you can equip in the game and defeat the undead either from a range or at point-blank, whatever suits your style the most.

    A-Tier

Next, we have the A-tier weapons, which are also good and can inflict high damage on enemies. However, compared to the S-Tier weapons, some of them are pretty rare to find in the game. One good thing about some guns in this category is that they can sell for really high prices, and therefore, you can use them to buy other essential items. That said, here are all the best Dead Rails weapons in the A-tier.

    Weapon Name Damage Description Cost
    Bolt-Action Rifle 55/137.5 Ammo: 5
    Fire Rate: 0.5 sec
    Long Range Damage
Can’t be Bought. Found at Fort Constitution
    Mauser C96 40/60 Ammo: 10
    Fire Rate: 0.3-0.5 sec
    No Recoil on Shooting
    148 Robux
Can be found better in Outlaws Camp
Molotov 50/100 The Arsonist Class spawns with 4 Molotovs 35
Jade Sword 25 50% chance to reanimate enemies Found at Sterling Mines
    Can’t be bought
Vampire Knife 20 Has Life Steal Passive
The Vampire Class Spawns with a Vampire Knife
    Can’t be bought
    Found at Castle

Among the weapons in the B-Tier, the Jade Sword sells for 250 cash while the Vampire Knife sells for 100 cash. You can get the latter by raiding the Castle in the game. These are highly profitable in terms of money.

    B-Tier

The B-Tier consists of weapons that are average in the game. Some of them have their own use cases, while others have a few disadvantages that prevent them from being placed higher. Moreover, most of them are less suitable for shooting enemies from a distance, and therefore, you can aim for better gear as you progress during the journey.

    Weapon Name Damage Description Cost
    Navy Revolver 50/80 Ammo: 6
    Fire Rate: 0.5 sec
    Better damage output
    40
    Revolver 35/50 Ammo: 6
    Fire Rate: 0.5 sec
    35
    Sawed-Off Shotgun 24×5/40×5 Ammo: 3
The range is short than a usual Shotgun
    148 Robux
    Maxim Turret 30/45 Ammo: 100
    Fire Rate: 0.2 sec
Long Range and can fire continuously
    125
Dynamite 300-500 Does huge AoE damage when lighted with Torch 25
Tomahawk 25 Highest damage among all melee weapons 30

One of my favorite items in this tier is the Maxim Turret, which can help you clear the towns and defeat the monsters chasing your train at night.

    C-Tier

Coming to the C-Tier, we have a few scarce and expensive items apart from the melee Cavalry sword. Talking about the Crucifix and Holy Water, they will cost you $ 75 and $ 45, respectively. Moreover, these are single-use weapons and hence not recommended for long runs. That said, here are all the weapons in this category.

    Weapon Name Damage Description Cost
Holy Water 100-400 Best for groups of enemies
    Inflicts multiple lightning strikes
    45
    Found at Church
    Cannon 125 Ammo: 12
    Does huge AoE damage
    Can’t be bought
    Found at Fort Constitution
Crucifix Infinite Best for groups of enemies for instant kill 75
    Found at Church
Cavalry Sword 25 Slightly better than basic melee weapons 30

The Cannon belongs in this tier due to its limited ammunition of 12 cannon balls and because it’s harder to get in the game. However, some would actually place the Holy Water in the A-tier because of its group damage.

    D-Tier

Finally, the D-Tier consists of the basic weapons in the game, and most of the classes begin with them during the run. The Shovel and Pickaxe are melee weapons and do the same amount of damage. However, since the pickaxe helps in mining ores efficiently, it’s better to carry that instead of a shovel. With that, here are the Dead Rails weapons in the D-tier:

    Weapon Name Damage Description Cost
Pickaxe 20 Best for mining ores
    Stuns enemies
    20
Shovel 20 Basic weapon for every class
    Stuns enemies
    20

And that ends our Dead Rails weapons tier list. I hope this clears up the fog for you on what to equip and what to aim for during your run in the game. So, which is your favorite weapon among them? Let us know in the comments below!

  • Gemini live camera and screen sharing now on all Android devices

Earlier this month, Google launched a new feature called Gemini Live. It included camera access and screen sharing. At first, this feature was only available on high-end devices like the Pixel 9 and Galaxy S25. Users also had to be subscribed to the Gemini Advanced plan.

Google Expands Gemini Live Features to All Android Users

Now, things are changing. After getting great feedback, Google has decided to open this feature to more users. Soon, all Android users will be able to use Gemini Live — no matter what phone they have. Even users with the free version of Gemini will get access.

As usual, Google is rolling this out slowly. It will become available “over the coming weeks.” So if you don’t see it on your phone yet, don’t worry. It’s on the way.

Once you have the update, using the feature is simple. Open the Gemini app. Tap the Gemini Live icon. Then, choose the camera or screen sharing button.

You can now converse with Gemini in real-time from that location. The assistant will react to whatever is in your camera or screen’s view. You can pose questions about whatever you are showing to Gemini, be it a product, document, or even an app. It is not boring; conversations occur naturally. You may interrupt Gemini or ask follow-up questions anytime you want.

This is beneficial at a different level. Rather than only talking or typing, now you can visually tell Gemini what is needed, making the interaction far more powerful. For example, you could direct your camera to a math problem, visual piece of furniture, a recipe, or even an image of a piece of furniture. You can also use screen-sharing to receive assistance with applications or settings.

The change is important in efforts to improve AI’s availability and usability on a personal level. It ensures that more people can access powerful tools, and not just individuals with expensive smartphones and paid subscriptions.

With expanding Gemini Live features, Google is demonstrating its position for inclusive AI tailored to individual’s daily routines and seamlessly integrates into one’s daily life.

  • Netflix’s The Diamond Heist: The Real-Life Story Explained

The Diamond Heist documentary series has arrived on Netflix for a global audience to enjoy. The docuseries, consisting of only three episodes, has been getting a lot of attention lately. The series comes from the mind of Guy Ritchie, known for giving us popular properties like The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare and The Gentlemen.

The Diamond Heist sheds light on the biggest robbery of the 21st century. The docuseries tells an interesting tale, but fans wonder if it happened like this in real life. If you are also wondering the same, here’s your answer.

Netflix’s The Diamond Heist Real-Life Story Explained

To answer your question, The Diamond Heist is very well based on a true story, as advertised in the documentary series. The series tells how the biggest robbery of the 21st century, also called the Millennium Star Heist, was conducted by a group of criminals from South-East London.

Apparently, Millennium Star, a 350 million GBP diamond (203.04 carat), was being hosted in the Millennium Dome in London in 2000. The security was world-class to protect this authentic piece of stone, but some people were smart enough to execute this robbery nonetheless.

One of the people who conducted this heist was Lee Wenham, and with allies, Lee successfully got his hands on the diamond and fled the police through a speedboat on Thames.

As expected, the police eventually got their hands on the perpetrators, and they were all sentenced to jail in 2002. Lee served his time and came out on parole, and well, the docuseries features the real-life Lee telling the entire story. In the series, Lee tells exactly how his group planned the entire robbery and executed it without being caught, at least for a while.

The Netflix series also features interviews with security personnel who were in charge of the Millennium Dome. Along with that, we also see surveillance footage from the Dome to get a better idea of the robbery.

The Diamond Heist is definitely a great docuseries that lets you examine the ideology and intellect of a criminal. So, if you haven’t watched the series yet, you should. It is entertaining enough to get you glued to the screen until all three episodes are over.

  • Instagram’s New Blend Feature Makes Watching Reels a Social Affair

There’s no denying that Reels have become the most popular feature of Instagram, and we all are guilty of spending hours scrolling and sharing dumb reels with our friends. Well, Instagram knows that and wants to make it a more social experience with the new Blend feature rolling out for everyone.

Instagram head, Adam Mosseri announced the Blend feature on Thursday, allowing you to create a custom, personalized Reels feed between you and your friend(s). I think the highlight of the feature is that both you and your friends in the Blend will get to see the same reels in the same order, like a watch party for Instagram.

How to Start an Instagram Blend

Since we already have the feature, let’s help you get started with it and show you how the feature works. The Blend option appears at the top of your Instagram DMs next to the call and video icons. Tap on the Blend icon and select Invite to invite other participants to the chat. They can then press Go to Blend to start watching each other’s suggested reels.

In case the option appears greyed out, then either you or your friend hasn’t updated Instagram to the latest version. Another thing to note here, the feature only works when at least one other friend joins the Blend.

Instagram already allows you to watch a custom feed of suggestions when you scroll through any reels shared in the DMs, using the Send in chat button right below. So this new Blend option just makes it so you both watch the same content simultaneously.

I noticed that the Blend option appeared greyed out for some of my friends. I guess it’s because they haven’t updated the app to the latest version. So if you don’t see the Blend option, simply update Instagram, and it should be there as I mentioned. That said, maybe I am stretching it a bit here, but it seems Meta copied the concept straight from Spotify Blend, which works the same way.

  • How to Get Charcoal in RuneScape DragonWilds

Charcoal is an essential item in RuneScape DragonWilds and is required to craft a Furnace. After that, Charcoal becomes the most valuable fuel in the game, allowing players to melt ores and cook high-tier items. Crafting Charcoal is extremely easy, as you only need to process wood. However, to unlock the Charcoal recipe, you need to find other materials and make other buildings. If you are also struggling to craft Charcoal, simply follow our complete guide on how to get Charcoal in RuneScape DragonWilds.

How to Make Charcoal in RuneScape DragonWilds

Image Credit: Jagex (screenshot by Sanmay Chakrabarti/Beebom)

Charcoal is a mid-to-end game fuel in RuneScape DragonWilds, and it is used to craft the Furnace. Crafting Charcoal is fairly easy, as long as you have a Kiln and some wood. Below, I have given a step-by-step explanation on how to build a Kiln and craft Charcoal using it.

    1. Collect Clay

The first thing you need to do is collect Clay. This is one of the required materials for building a Kiln, which is used to craft Charcoal. Head to Whispering Swamps, located North of Bramblemead Valley. Clay can only be found in Whispering Swamps, so don’t look for it elsewhere. After reaching the Whispering Swamp, look for Clay Nodes.

Once you find a Clay Node, use your Pickaxe to mine for Clay. You can also use Dragonwilds spells like ‘Rocksplosion’ to mine fast or ‘Detect Clay + Ore’ to find Clay Nodes easily. Both of these spells are the Dragonwilds skills in the Mining tree.

    2. Build Kiln

After you have collected Clay from the Whispering Swamps, you will need to build a Kiln. Here are the materials required to build a Kiln in RuneScape DragonWilds:

    • 8 Ash logs
    • 20 Stones
    • 6 Clay
    • 10 Fire Rune
    build Kiln in RuneScape DragonWilds
Image Credit: Jagex (screenshot by Sanmay Chakrabarti/Beebom)

Ash Logs and Stones can be easily found in trees and rocks. For Fire Rune, use the Rune Altar to craft them with Rune Essences. Once you have all the items, open the Build menu using the ‘B‘ key and select Kiln in the Processing section of the Crafting tab. Now, build the Kiln outside in an open area. The Kiln must be exposed, otherwise it won’t work.

    3. Craft Charcoal

After you have built a Kiln, you can start crafting Charcoal in the Kiln. To craft Charcoal, you can process the following materials in the Kiln:

    • Ash log (1:1)
    • Ash Plank (1:1)
    • Oak Log (1:1)
    • Oak Plank (1:1)
    craft Charcoal in RuneScape DragonWilds
Image Credit: Jagex (screenshot by Sanmay Chakrabarti/Beebom)

As one Ash or Oak log can be split into two Planks, you can get a lot more Charcoal by converting your logs to planks first and then using them to craft Charcoal. After crafting Charcoal, you can use it as a new fuel for cooking and in the furnace. Charcoal is also required to build a Furnace in RuneScape DragonWilds.

So, that’s it. Now you know how to make Charcoal in RuneScape DragonWilds. Start crafting stronger gear once you have built the Furnace with Charcoal and completed all the quests in Ashenfall. Tell us how much you are enjoying RuneScape DragonWilds so far in the comments.

  • watchOS 12 May Come with Limited Apple Intelligence and Minor Changes, But Is That Enough?

Apple is set to unveil watchOS 12 at its Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) 2025 on June 9. Leading to the release, there are two major questions in the orbit for anyone keeping up with Apple updates. First, will watchOS 12 get Apple Intelligence? Second, will it be a part of the visionOS-inspired design overhaul coming to iOS, iPadOS, and macOS? Now, we have some insights, and they are somewhat underwhelming.

No Standalone Apple Intelligence on watchOS 12

Apple Watch won’t be getting full-scale Apple Intelligence, as per Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman. Instead, it would be getting some features “powered by Apple Intelligence”. This would mean that Apple Intelligence features on Apple Watch would likely run on iPhone. When Apple Watch was first released, it followed this model. It was heavily dependent on iPhone for most features and functionalities. However, over the years, the wearable bloomed into its own. But it looks like it would be taking a trip back in time now.

For users who want Apple Watch to be able to run AI features without any dependencies, the outlook doesn’t look particularly great. The only Apple Intelligence features currently available on the Apple Watch are Notification summaries and the Reduce Interruptions focus. But these features aren’t really on the Apple Watch so much as accessible through it, and only if you own a compatible iPhone. If your iPhone can’t run Apple Intelligence, it won’t matter if your Apple Watch is the latest model; you won’t have access to these features.

That said, for those with a supported iPhone, the limited Apple Intelligence integrations on watchOS 12 could still offer a more refined and useful experience than what’s available today.

watchOS 12 Will Focus on Refinements Over Revolution

As for design, Apple is reportedly working on a major interface overhaul. Codenamed Solarium, iOS, iPadOS, and macOS are getting this more extensive redesign inspired by visionOS. But watchOS 12 will see only modest UI changes. Gurman notes that Apple Watch users can expect a few new interface elements sprinkled throughout. But don’t expect the dramatic refresh you may have been hoping for.

As for design changes, the Apple Watch is destined to get some of the new interface elements here and there, but without a major overhaul.

If Gurman reports turn out to be true, watchOS 12 might turn out to be more of a maintenance update. Subtle visual tweaks and minor AI-powered enhancements may still improve the overall experience. But for now, it seems Apple is saving the big moves for its other platforms.

Apple’s Calculated Approach: Playing it Safe, again?

With watchOS 12, Apple appears to be taking a cautious step into the AI era for its wearable. Rather than bringing Apple Intelligence natively to the Watch, the company is opting for a tethered experience – dependent on a supported iPhone. On the surface, this may feel like a regression for a device that has spent years evolving toward greater independence. But it also reflects Apple’s typical strategy: polish and control before expansion.

illustration featuring Apple Intelligence logo in front of a gradient background

That said, the timing feels off. Wearables are increasingly becoming standalone AI companions—from Meta’s Ray-Ban glasses with real-time visual recognition to Oura and Whoop’s deeply personalized health feedback driven by machine learning. In this context, Apple Watch’s limited integration risks making it look like a peripheral, rather than a core part of Apple’s AI future.

After Apple’s initial stance on AI and playing it safe for long, one would have thought that the company was done with that. Yet, this could be a calculated move. Apple may be choosing to focus its AI efforts where they can shine most – on devices with the hardware and battery life to support them natively. The Apple Watch, for all its strengths, is still constrained by its size and power envelope. And ever since the whole fiasco with Apple Intelligence and Siri, releasing half-baked on-device AI could further jeopardize the company’s reputation.

In the long run, however, users will expect more. If wearables are to serve as intelligent, context-aware companions – something Apple is uniquely positioned to deliver – the Apple Watch will eventually need to do more than mirror intelligence from another device. The future of wearables is leaning toward autonomy, and Apple can’t afford to watch from the sidelines for too long.

  • How to Get and Use a Horse Cart in Dead Rails

As expansive as Dead Rails is, it only has limited means of transportation. So, while you have your trusty train to traverse the desert with, players also get horses to be more mobile. You can even use horses to quickly stash loot from buildings on either side. However, getting a vehicle like a horse cart in Dead Rails will also let you weld items or weapons. You will also need the cart to complete the Pony Express challenge. Want one for yourself? Keep on reading to learn how to get and use a horse cart in Dead Rails.

How to Get a Horse Cart in Dead Rails

The Horse Cart, or simply Cart, is in itself an individual item and is only found at the Barn in Dead Rails. Apart from the Cart, you’ll need a Horse to attach this item. We have a detailed guide on how you can get a Horse in Dead Rails. Once you have a horse, keep reading to learn how to get a horse cart in Dead Rails:

Horse Cart Location in Dead Rails

As we have already discussed, you must find a Barn first during your run. The Barn is a small farm hut with green grass growing all around it. It will spawn far away from the railroad, so it’s better to keep an eye out while driving or ask your friend to look out for a similar-looking structure.

Image Credit: Dead Rails/Roblox (via Dead Rails Wiki)

The Barn is relatively easy to raid compared to other towns and buildings and consists of a few zombies. Once you kill them, head inside and you’ll find handsome loot, including a horse cart, a wild or tamed Horse, a saddle, and a few junk materials. If the horse isn’t tamed, you can easily do so by cornering it and placing the saddle on its back.

How to Equip the Horse Cart in Dead Rails

Now that you have both the required items in front of you inside the Barn, follow the simple steps below to equip the Horse Cart in Dead Rails:

    • Go near the cart, point your mouse at it, and click the left mouse button to hold it.
    • Now, drag the cart and bring it near the horse. This will attach the cart to the horse, and it will be ready for use.
    • This is also applicable if your friend is using the Horse class, and therefore, bringing the cart near them will attach it to their back.
    Horse cart dead rails equip
Image Credit: Dead Rails/Roblox (via Dead Rails Wiki)

If you ride the Horse now, it will drag the cart behind you as well. To unequip the Cart, you can jump twice while staying on it. Otherwise, you may simply hold the cart or place it in your sack to remove it from the horse’s back.

All Uses of Horse Cart in Dead Rails

The Horse cart is the only item in the game where you can weld various items and weapons, apart from the train. However, the horse cart in Dead Rails has many more uses. These are:

    1. Secondary Moveable Storage

One of the primary uses of the horse cart is to use it as a secondary movable storage while you are raiding buildings like the Castle and Fort Constitution. Simply weld the loot on the cart, and your Sack won’t get full very easily.

    Horse Cart with several carts
Image Credit: Dead Rails/Roblox (via Dead Rails Wiki)

Moreover, welding more than one cart to the original one can help create a long trail and hence provide more storage space. However, this is least feasible since the barn itself is a rare structure and houses a single cart as its loot.

    2. Secondary Transportation

Since the train requires fuel to run, the horse cart can be a superb alternative for transportation. It helps you get past the last checkpoint without needing coal or using any other Corpse as fuel.

Although you can achieve this by using a horse, the horse cart simply adds value by helping you weld your weapons on it and increasing its defense by using Sheet Metals, Turrets, and Cannons.

Lastly, you can use the cart to defeat hordes of enemies in a blink by welding a Turret or a Cannon on it. Simply ask a friend to be the driver and shoot away at the zombies.

And that’s how you get your hands on a horse cart in Dead Rails. Are you still having trouble attaching this item to your horse? Let us know in the comments below.

  • With Elena’s release date, Street Fighter 6’s competition and content updates are now out of sync and disconnected

Up until a week ago, it was thought that Elena was going to release at some point in April or May for Street Fighter 6, but turns out that’s not the case after all.

We now know thanks to the teaser trailer that Elena is coming as the last Season 2 DLC character on June 5, which has implications for the Street Fighter scene as a whole.

Presumably, Capcom is also going to release the big Season 3 balance update at the same time as Elena like they did last year for Akuma.

Now that the patch is likely not coming until June as well, that will produce some issues for the competitive scene of SF6 specifically.

Part of the reason many believed Elena would come in April or May was the fact that the Capcom Pro Tour 2025 season is starting up in less than a month.

It looks like currently, however, the third competitive year is going to begin while still playing the second season of the game.

And it’s not just for one event either.

There’s Evo Japan 2025 with the second largest Evo bracket ever taking place from May 9–11 and then Combo Breaker 2025 at the end of the month too.

That’s two of the limited offline event Capcom Cup slots up for grabs running on the “old” version of the game while the rest of the season will presumably be run on Season 3’s updates.

This shows now there is a pretty clear disconnection between the content aspect of Street Fighter 6 and the competitive scene.

We did get a taste of this last year when Akuma and the Season 2 update came right before Combo Breaker 2024, and then it happened again with M. Bison’s launch and CEO 2024.

That was a bit different, however, since those majors were not part of the CPT circuit, but now we’re seeing it at a bigger level.

This is all plans from Capcom directly, and it’s weird that they’d be apparently out of sync like this.

As far as we know, a Capcom Pro Tour season (at least since Street Fighter 5) has not begun running on the previous year’s version of the game.

We’re not sure of course what’s causing this disconnect whether it be an internal delay of Elena and the Season 3 patch or other scheduling conflicts, but there’s something going on behind the scenes.

This desync can even be seen in the content reveals too with Elena’s teaser skipping Capcom Cup 11 for some reason and instead dropping on a seemingly random Thursday connected to nothing — and that goes for pretty much all events now outside of Evo.

Obviously, the new content is where Street Fighter 6 is going to make pretty much all of the game’s money now, but the Capcom Pro Tour also positions itself as the leader of FGC pro circuits.

And we’re not really seeing any other fighting games have this issue either.

We’ve seen before how the development pipeline for SF6 does not appear to be moving as fast as fans expect considering how long it’s taken to get Outfit 4 options in the game — and we still haven’t seen those yet after almost a year and a half since Outfit 3 dropped.

Games are more expensive and complicated to develop than ever before, but again, it just feels weird that it’s taking the team this long to get content out the door compared to Street Fighter 5 and their current competition.

Mortal Kombat 1 dropped like six new fighters in the time it took SF6 to get one, and Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves has committed to releasing new characters every two months before the game is even out.

Meanwhile, there’s a four-month gap between Mai and Elena.

And now that’s bled over into the competitive scene as well.

It just feels like a bit of a disservice now to the competitors who put more time into the game than anyone else.

But who knows, maybe Capcom has some more unexpected decisions they’ll be rolling out.

There’s nothing technically stopping them from dropping the Season 3 balance update before Elena though we have our doubts that would actually come to pass.

Instead, it looks like Street Fighter 6 is going to be starting the next leg of its journey with a disconnect to the dedicated community supporting the game most.

Hopefully, the Street Fighter 6 team starts to communicate more about what’s going on and what their plans are for the game like they did towards the end of the last entry.

    We’re all ears here.

  • Want to know which changes from Tekken 8’s emergency update are most impactful? PhiDX has a great breakdown of the new patch

Tekken 8 Season 2 certainly got off on the wrong foot when it released at the start of the month, and the developers are working quickly to try and improve the game to a spot where players are happier with it.

Bandai Namco just released a large emergency update for Tekken 8 last night, but there’s a lot of changes to make sense of.

Player and content creator PhiDX released a really good breakdown of the new patch shortly after its release that fans should check out.

PhiDX goes over all of the universal and character adjustments in a straightforward way to offer up his insight on what’s most important and impactful.

After that, he provides a summary of the update as well as his pros and cons of what Bamco did this time around.

For the good, he notes the lessened frame advantage on a lot of moves allows for more counterplay as well as the toned down chip damage.

PhiDX also likes the change that makes Heat Engagers +9 instead of +17, but he still has quite a few issues with where the game is at currently.

For cons, he lists how a lot of the homing attacks were left intact to check side stepping while much of the cast is still stance and mixup focused.

And though the damage nerfs and increased health leads to more interactions, those are still less deep than he’d like to see.

So it seems the developers still have their work cut out for them, and hopefully more can be fixed in the next patch set for mid-May.

We recommend checking out PhiDX’s full video below to get a better sense of what these emergency update changes mean for Tekken 8 moving forward.
