    What a night at the 2024 People’s Choice Awards! Chrishell Stause, G Flip, and other adorable duos were out in full force. The award for the best couple? Well, that’s a tough one to call.

    There were just too many celebs looking all loved-up at the event. It was a challenge to pick just one pair. But one thing’s for sure – these couples knew how to make an entrance at the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica.

    Take Scheana Shay, for instance. She was a vision in a sparkly green gown. Her husband, Brock Davies, didn’t disappoint either, matching her in a similar shade. And then there was Jamie Chung.

    Well, this ain’t a joke, folks. Joaquin Phoenix and Rooney Mara are expanding their family.

    Yep, you heard it right. The Joker star and the Girl With the Dragon Tattoo actress are expecting another bundle of joy. It’s been three years since they welcomed their son River into the world. This exciting news was reported by multiple outlets on Feb. 18.

    Rooney flaunted her baby bump at the premiere of La Cocina. This happened at the Berlinale International Film Festival in Berlin on Feb. 16. Dressed in a strapless black ballgown, the 38-year-old actress was seen cradling her growing belly as she strutted down the red carpet.

    E! News, always on the ball, reached out to Rooney and Joaquin’s reps for a comment. But, no dice. They haven’t heard back yet.

    Rooney and Joaquin have been a thing since 2017. That’s four years after they costarred in Her. They’ve been pretty hush-hush about their relationship, though. But in 2019, Joaquin gave us a little peek into their love story.

    In a Vanity Fair interview, the 49-year-old actor confessed, “She’s the only girl I ever looked up on the internet.” He thought Rooney couldn’t stand him at first. Turns out, she was just too shy to ask him out. “We were just friends, email friends. I’d never done that. Never looked up a girl online.” How’s that for a plot twist?

Fragrance, much like a sharp wing or statement lip, is a powerful tool for transformation, and people are intrigued by layering fragrances and crafting a signature scent in the process. According to Johnsen, “What I’m seeing now, more than ever, is a consumer that is more experimental. They’re excited to try new things.” The fragrance specialist breaks down all of the sweet details of how to make a customized blend.

    The technique of layering fragrances involves applying more than one scent together, which, according to Johnsen, will “create a more powerful, complex and customized fragrance.” People are having more fun with fragrance and taking it upon themselves to mix and match two or more of their go-to fragrances to create a new experience that is as unique and individual as they are.

    The best way to layer scents, such as eau de toilettes or eau de parfums, is to layer on a pump of each in the order of the strongest scent to the most delicate. This method allows consumers to get the full experience of a signature scent. Johnsen further advises that with these three different products, “They meld together, keeping the freshness of the citrus lasting longer, and adding brightness to the white floral. This infusion is then held by the foundation of the base fragrance because it would add a more fluid element in the final creation.”

    When wanting to layer lotion with a perfume, it is recommended to start from the shower and work your way out. Adding a body lotion or body mist will give your perfume something to “hold and set” itself to, therefore, making it last longer. Each step in the layering process adds a new level of scent application and different versions of the formula to react and stay intact as they join together to heighten the overall experience. Since fragrance is deeply personal, Johnsen encourages experimentation and advises taking baby steps. A variety of fragrance families can be blended, depending on personal preference and the ratio of application. The perk of layering perfumes is that by adding different forms of fragrance, such as a shower gel, body lotion, and an eau de toilette or eau de parfum, this is the best and only way to have your scent last longer. The art of layering is about the creative process, and there is no right or wrong way when it comes to fragrance, it’s all about if it makes you smile.

    In a sneak peek of the night’s episode, Wyatt shared some tidbits about their firstborn, Buddy. The 2-year-old is as ready as he can be for his new role as a big brother. “He just kind of rolls with the tide and see what comes,” Wyatt explained.
