The 42-year-old royal had last been seen publicly during a Christmas day church outing with the rest of the royal family, just weeks before her surgery. Kensington Palace had released a statement at the time of her surgery, stating that she would need to remain in the hospital for 10 to 14 days before returning home for continued recovery, pushing back her return to public duties until after Easter.
