    Kelly got hit with a gestational diabetes diagnosis. This happened pretty late in the game, during her third trimester, she shared with People in September 2022. It wasn’t like she’d been dealing with it from the start of her pregnancy.

    Nope. It cropped up in the third trimester. Kelly had this nagging thought that maybe she’d done something wrong.

    She’d been having a major sweet tooth during her pregnancy. Sweet drinks were her kryptonite. She tried to balance it out by gulping down fresh-pressed juice. But, let’s be real, it was still way more sugar than she needed.

    Then, she decided to switch things up with her diet. She got hit with a gnarly sugar-withdrawal headache for a bit, but it wasn’t all bad news. She managed to shed 10 pounds. No more need for those pesky compression socks. Plus, her skin started looking better.

    Kelly mused, “I wish I had this kind of incentive before.” She’d never been able to stick to a diet like this. But this time, it wasn’t about her. It was about her baby. She’s learned a lot from this experience. The changes it’s brought about? She can’t even begin to tell you.

    He confessed, “I couldn’t figure out how to sneak back into the house.” He knew it would’ve been weird to say, “Hey, I gotta go chat with your dad for a sec.”

    So, he went with plan B. Jason told Kylie, “Ky, I’m sorry but I gotta take a s–t.” Not the most romantic, but hey, it’s Jason.

    Kylie, however, wasn’t fooled. When Jason returned in just a few minutes, she called him out. “Jason, I know you didn’t just go in there and take a s—t, it usually takes you 20 minutes.”

    That’s when Jason decided to cut the crap, literally and figuratively.

    He confessed, “This isn’t the most romantic way to do this.” Kylie remembered, “I immediately started crying because I knew what was happening only because he referenced being romantic.”
