With tomorrow marking the final day of the transfer window many are asking what will happen with Jadon Sancho. Will he go to Chelsea? Will he end up at Juventus? Or will he remain with Manchester United?

Well Chelsea and Juventus are still keen to battle it out for the star, neither wanting to miss out on their man.

Juve have submitted their initial bid for a loan offer, whilst Chelsea and United are working on two separate deals to see Sancho move to Stamford Bridge and Raheem Sterling go the other way.

Whilst Juventus are hoping to secure the English winger, they are also starting to look at Plan B’s in case they lose out in the dying moments of the transfer season.

As a result, Calcio Mercato have reported that the Serie A side are turning to Germany to look at an alternative to the United attacker.

The report explains that Juve’s sporting director, Cristiano Giuntoli, is keeping options open for new manager Thiago Motta. The pair are now looking at Bayer Leverkusen’s Amine Adli in case the Sancho deal goes south.

The left-winger came through the Toulouse youth academy and joined the senior squad in 2019. Then two years later joined Leverkusen for €7.5 million. Now, his versatility is being shown, with the Morocco international playing on both wings, in attacking midfield and as a striker.

In the 117 matches he’s played for the German club, Adli’s scored 21 goals and got 22 assists, helping the club with the Bundesliga, DFB-Pokal and DFL-Supercup.

Leverkusen are expected to want €25 million for the winger, which would make him a cheaper option than Sancho.

With Aldi having a double passport for Morocco and France, being born in Beziers, France and playing for the France Under-18s and Under-21s, Juve would be able to register the winger as an EU player, avoiding the league’s limits around non-EU players.

  • Juventus pull out of deal for Jadon Sancho

News has just broke from Italy that Juventus are no longer pursuing Manchester United’s Jadon Sancho.

Gianluca Di Marzio has reported that despite Juve’s submission of a loan deal, the Serie A side no long interested in the winger.

The decision comes as Juventus are reportedly happy with their current attacking options with Samuel Mbangula having recently come up through the Juve academy.

The Italian club are reportedly happy with his performances so far with a goal and three assists in the first two games of the league. Juventus currently sit top of the league with two 3-0 wins over Como and Hellas Verona, with Mbangula contributing to two goals in both games.

The Old Lady are concerned that if they were to sign Sancho now, this could dramatically hinder Mbangula’s development.

Another massive factor was the cost of signing Sancho on a permanent or loan-to-buy, with Sancho’s wages alone being a barrier too high for most interested clubs to overcome.

With Juventus pulling out and Borussia Dortmund saying they are not interested, it seems like Chelsea are the only remaining interested party in signing the winger.

Whilst the deal was slightly delayed due to paperwork being completed, McTominay is now on his way to complete his medical assessment.

However, the Italian club have also brought in a former Red Devil to accompany the midfielder.

The BBC have reported that Belgian striker Romelu Lukaku is now set to join McTominay in Serie A in a deal worth £30 million.

Napoli’s move for the 31-year-old has been driven by their manager Antonio Conte, who the Belgian worked with for two incredible seasons at Inter Milan between 2019 to 2021.

The striker transferred back to former club Chelsea in 2021 for a massive £97.5 million, but went back on loan for the past two seasons in Italy, once more with Inter and then for Roma.

Lukaku scored 24 goals throughout the 2020/21 season as he won Serie A under Conte, igniting renewed interest from Chelsea.

However, with the striker not a part of Enzo Maresca’s Chelsea plans, the striker is now finding himself in Italy once more.

Manchester United are now looking likely to have to fight off Arsenal if the hope to sign another of their key young targets.

United have been fans of Sverre Halseth Nypan for some time now and they’re match up against him in the preseason did not disappoint Eric ten Hag.

The Norwegian midfielder, played impressibly well for Rosenborg against The Red Devils in their opening game of the preseason only sparking more interest from United to sign the 17-year-old.

It’s understood that United were keen to have talks with Nypan after the game.

Unfortunately for The Red Devils, they face a bit of a sticking point with the youngster’s age.

The new Brexit rules say that no English club is allowed to sign a player under the age of 18 from outside of the UK.

With Nypan turning 18 this December, the earliest United could make a move officially for the talented wonderkid would be in the January transfer window.

However Christopher Michel has now reported that United aren’t the only Premier League side to be interested in Nypan.

According to the journalist, Eric ten Hag’s side look set to face off against Arsenal in order to sign the Norwegian.

Previously when asked about the interest from United Nypan was flattered to be linked to such a prestigious club, however said that he would much rather focus on his future at Rosenberg for the time being,

This led to speculation that United may make a move to sign him in January, however send him straight back on loan to Rosenberg to see out the rest of the season.

If Arsenal are in fact interested in signing the 17-year-old, United will need to make a move on this very quickly so they don’t miss out on what could be an incredible talent of the future.

Manchester United are on the brink of signing an incredibly talented wonderkid with the deal looking likely to go through today after the completion of a medical assessment.

Three young signings have been made over the last few weeks in the form of Chido Obi-Martin, Samuel Lusale and Sekou Kone.

Unfortunately for United, the confirmation of Obi-Martin and Lusale sit with the Premier League to sign it off due to the pair transferring between academies, which can take a number of weeks. However, with Kone, The Red Devils have just been awaiting the ability to book his medical assessment for him to fly from Mali to Manchester to complete the deal.

Last week it was reported that one day this week would be the day of Kone’s medical and ultimate signing to join United, with reports from L’Equipe last night claiming that day was today.

The deal that will be finalised today for Kone is valued at €1.5 million with a series of bonuses based on his professional appearances.

United’s signing of Kone came as a slight surprise with longstanding links between the18-year-old’s Malian club Guidars FC and RedBull Salzburg who were front runners to sign the youngster.

However, it’s understood that United’s new transfer and recruitment specialist Christopher Vivell played a bog part in getting the deal across the line.

Unfortunately we are still waiting for the confirmation of Obi-Martin and Lusale being able to move to United despite medicals already taken place.

  • Kylian Mbappe stirs controversy with Manchester United posts

Kylian Mbappe saw his social media account becoming the target of a hacking incident that led to a series of controversial and misleading posts.

The hacker responsible used Mbappe’s Twitter/X account to promote a fraudulent cryptocurrency named ‘MBAPPE’ token, alongside a slew of tweets about a potential move to Manchester United and comments on the longstanding Cristiano Ronaldo vs. Lionel Messi debate. The posts, which were eventually deleted, caused quite a stir online.

The unauthorized tweets began with a declaration of “Manchester is Red,” a clear reference to Manchester United.

The hacker then gave a shoutout to a popular Manchester United fan account, @UTDTrey, labeling it as “the best account on ft.”

Following these, a tweet surfaced from Mbappe’s account claiming that he would be joining Manchester United in 2028 on a free transfer, reading, “im going to @ManUtd, 2028 LET’S RUN IT UP ON A FREE TRANSFERRRR.”

Another tweet sparked more controversy by favoring Cristiano Ronaldo over Lionel Messi in the age-old debate of the greatest football player of all time.

Mbappe’s account stated, “Cristiano Ronaldo is the greatest football player of all time. The midget [Lionel Messi] is NOT my goat.”

The promotion of the ‘MBAPPE’ token caused a significant, though brief, disruption in the crypto market.

The token’s market value skyrocketed into the tens of millions within minutes before crashing back down to zero.

One user claimed to have profited significantly during the brief surge, stating they bought 2 SOL (approximately £216) and managed to sell it at a peak value, earning roughly 1,398 SOL (around $151,500).

In addition to the posts about Manchester United and the cryptocurrency, the hacker also tweeted controversial comments about several Premier League clubs, including Chelsea, Manchester City and Tottenham Hotspur. These posts, like the others, were deleted shortly after they appeared.

The incident drew mixed reactions from the public.

Some users expressed disbelief and criticism, with one user (@Kylian) questioning Mbappe’s public relations team by posting, “Where the —- is his PR team, this is unacceptable.”

Others took a more humorous approach, with one user (@antcatalanotto) asserting, “Mbappe is a United fan I knew it all along,” and another (@Voetballl_) poking fun at the timing of the hack, saying, “Hacked before he could score a La Liga goal smh.”

Despite the chaos on social media, Mbappe’s on-field performances have been closely watched. The French star made an immediate impact on his Real Madrid debut, scoring in a 2-0 victory over Atlanta in the UEFA Super Cup.

However, he has yet to find the back of the net in La Liga, going scoreless in both the 1-1 draw with Mallorca and the 3-0 win over Valladolid.

  • Manchester United set for transfer windfall as former defender set to move clubs

    Erik ten Hag

Under the new regime at Old Trafford, the recruitment team and directors have been seemingly implementing a new policy by which all of their young stars being sold to other clubs are including sell-on clauses.

The likes of Facundo Pellistri, Maxi Oyedele and Hannibal Mejbri have all had considerable sell-on clauses included in their deals to move from United.

This tactic allows for United to offload the youngsters who aren’t fitting into the first-team plans, whilst also being able to benefit on their long term development.

With Hannibal it’s recently been reported that Untied have gone beyond just a 50% sell-on clause, but have also negotiated a buy back agreement and matching rights.

However, this isn’t the first time United have done this, although it seems to have been much more sporadic previously.

Now though, The Red Devils are set to cash in on one of their previous deals, with a former United defender moving clubs.

Sports journalist Fabrizio Romano has now confirmed that negotiations are taking place between Torino and Luton Town for Teden Mengi to move to Italy.

It’s understood that personal terms have been agreed with the transfer fee to be negotiated. As a result, United are expected to cash in on the move with an unspecified, but high percentage sell-on clause.

Mengi is a graduate of the United academy and went out on loans to Derby and Birmingham before leaving for Luton last summer.

The centre-back only made two appearances for United, with only 19 games played across both loan spells combined. However at Luton, Mengi has seemed to find himself. He’s made himself an essential part of their defence.

United are expected to cash in on the move with an unspecified, but high percentage sell-on clause.

  • Juventus submit initial bid for Jadon Sancho

    Jadon Sancho

The transfer race between Chelsea and Juventus has been getting more intense as the days go on.

It’s been understood that both cubs are desperate to sign Sancho, however whereas Juventus have been looking primarily at a loan deal, Chelsea are looking at securing a deal for the winger, agreeing another deal to see Raheem Sterling go the other way.

Initially for Chelsea, defender Ben Chilwell was also in the mix, however United have decided against pursuing this any further. However, sporting director Dan Ashworth is keen on signing Sterling, having admired him since their time working together at the England camp.

New came out earlier that Sancho’s preferred destination would be Stamford Bridge, but that hasn’t put Juve off, with the Serie A side now submitting their first official bid for the 24-year-old.

Reports from Gianluca Di Marzio have claimed that the bid is in fact for a loan deal, with a fee for United of around €7.5 million.

It’s unknown how United are going to respond, with a few things stacked against The Old Lady’s offer.

Firstly is the lure of Raheem Sterling from a deal with Chelsea. With Marcus Rashford under performing and Troy Deeney referring to Antony as “nothing” at United, a winger like Sterling would certainly be a strong option to have.

Secondly is that fact that United are looking to part ways with Sancho on a permanent basis rather than a temporary loan. It was reported that United have been trying to negotiate the loan deal having an obligatory purchase at the end, which would certainly make the loan look more manageable.

With deadline day only a matter of days away now, no doubt we’ll hear of United’s response within the next 24 hours.
