  • Veteran Manchester United staff leaves the club

    Piotr Sadowski

Manchester United is currently experiencing significant behind-the-scenes changes following INEOS’s takeover of the sporting operations.

This shift has resulted in a complete overhaul of the club’s hierarchy and coaching staff, aiming to optimize the organization for future success.

This restructuring has also led to job losses, as Sir Jim Ratcliffe made the difficult decision to cut 250 employees in an effort to reduce costs.

The goal is to achieve financial stability and reallocate resources to more critical areas of the club.

Amid these changes, another longstanding member of the coaching and scouting department has parted ways with Manchester United.

    Piotr Sadowski leaves the club

Piotr Sadowski, who joined Manchester United’s backroom staff during the Jose Mourinho era in 2017, has left the club after seven years of service.

His departure marks the end of an era for a scout who has played a key role in the club’s scouting operations over the years.

Sadowski’s exit comes at a time when Manchester United is navigating a crucial period of transition both on and off the pitch.

In a tweet announcing his departure, Sadowski said, “After 7 years, I am leaving Manchester Utd. I’ve worked on a number of scouting projects, and it has been great to assess and recommend world-class players.

“I want to express a massive thank you to everyone at #MUFC. The end of the chapter is the beginning of a new challenge. Always United!”

    Who Was Sadowski?

Piotr Sadowski, born in Poland, began his career as the academy operations director at Lech Poznań before joining Manchester United in 2017.

Brought in by Jose Mourinho, Sadowski took on the role of Central Eastern European scout, where he strengthened the club’s scouting network and played a crucial role in identifying talent from the region.

Sadowski’s departure is another indication of the sweeping changes Manchester United is undergoing as it seeks to realign its resources and operations under new management.

  • Manchester United rejected double bid on deadline day

Erik ten Hag in press conference

The transfer window has now firmly shut.

Manchester United have had, what many would consider, a successful window.

Arguably, the best in a long time.

The new ownership have managed to bring in a new profile of player while also getting rid of many who they felt didn’t have what it takes to be a Man Utd player.

But not all of the supposed outbound players left in the end.

Some players who fans wanted moved on have stayed at the club.

And it seems that, for a couple of them, it was the club’s choice.

Yesterday, news emerged that Real Betis were interested in signing Antony and Christian Eriksen from Manchester United.

The LaLiga side wanted to take the pair on loan from Old Trafford.

Now, the Daily Mail are reporting that Manchester United had indeed rejected a late double loan bid for the pair just before the window shut.

The newspaper reports that Erik ten Hag sees the pair in his plans for the season ahead.

Real Betis might have chanced their arm late in the day, but it seems that United weren’t interested.

Christian Eriksen has one year left on his contract and is most likely going to leave the club on a free at the end of the season.

Antony, on the other hand, still has time on his deal but hasn’t done enough to justify the huge price the club paid for him.

Now both players will have their chance to show the Old Trafford faithful what they bring to the team in the season ahead.

Manchester United face Liverpool at 4pm tomorrow in their next English Premier League game.

Anthony played an important part of the match when the two teams last played each other, when he scored a late equaliser in the FA Cup Quarter Final last season.

  • Inverness Caledonian Thistle officially sign Man United defender

    Manchester United

Manchester United’s academy product, James Nolan, is poised to officially join Inverness Caledonian Thistle on a season-long loan.

The move, pending registration, sees the 18-year-old, who is listed as a right back on Manchester United’s official website, embark on his first loan spell away from Old Trafford.

James Nolan is a versatile player capable of performing in various positions across both defence and midfield.

His adaptability has been a hallmark of his youth career, although the club officially categorizes him as a right back.

Having signed his first professional contract with Manchester United in August of last year, this loan marks an important step in his development as he looks to gain valuable first-team experience.

This move makes Nolan the latest in a growing list of young United talents securing temporary exits in pursuit of regular game time.

He follows in the footsteps of Rhys Bennett, Elyh Harrison, and Sonny Aljofree, all of whom have recently completed their own loan moves.

For these young players, securing consistent minutes on the pitch is seen as crucial to their progression, and Nolan will hope to make the most of his time in Scotland.

Manchester United confirmed the move on their official website, stating, “Manchester United youngster James Nolan is set to join Inverness Caledonian Thistle on a season-long loan, subject to registration.”

The club also highlighted the fact that Nolan will be working under the guidance of Duncan Ferguson, the former Everton legend who took over managerial duties at Caledonian Stadium in 2023.

Inverness Caledonian Thistle, who compete in the Scottish Championship, will provide a challenging environment for Nolan as he makes the transition to senior football.

The Scottish club expressed their satisfaction with the deal, noting, “We are pleased to announce the signing of James Nolan on a season-long loan, subject to international clearance.”

Nolan’s loan move comes after a strong start to the season at youth level.

The young defender has already racked up three assists in just three games in the Premier League 2 and the EFL Trophy.

His most notable performance came against Barnsley in the EFL Trophy, where he delivered two assists in just 16 minutes off the bench, helping his side secure a 3-2 victory.

With 47 appearances for Manchester United’s under-18s and 18 appearances for the under-21s, Nolan is well-acquainted with the demands of youth football.

His ability to impact a game, as demonstrated against League One opposition in England, will undoubtedly give Inverness hope that he can replicate that success in Scotland’s second tier.

The upcoming season will be a stern test of Nolan’s readiness for the rigors of adult football, but it also presents a significant opportunity for the young defender to prove himself on a bigger stage.

  • Manchester United star midfielder could still be sold this month

The European transfer window may have closed, but a few still remain open.

Manchester United have had, what many would consider, a successful window.

But now it is being reported that a star midfielder could still leave the club.

Casemiro could still leave Manchester United

According to a latest report, Manchester United’s midfielder, Casemiro, might still leave the club this summer despite the European transfer window closing.

Journalist Miguel Delaney revealed in his ‘Reading the Game’ newsletter that United has been discussing the Brazilian’s potential sale. Saudi Pro League clubs remain interested in signing him.

    Interest from Saudi Pro League

With the Saudi transfer window still open for another week, there’s a possibility Casemiro could follow Scott McTominay and Jadon Sancho as significant departures from Manchester United during this transfer period.

Casemiro, 32, is currently the highest-paid player at Manchester United, earning £350,000 per week.

CLICK HERE TO JOIN THE CENTRE DEVILS WHATSAPP GROUP CHAT NOW!

Although he played in both of Manchester United’s opening two Premier League matches of the 2024-25 season against Fulham and Brighton & Hove Albion, the club sees the appeal in reducing their wage bill.

If Casemiro leaves, United could save approximately £18 million this season by removing his salary from their payroll.

    Financial relief from player sales

Manchester United is also considering the potential financial benefits of allowing Jadon Sancho to leave for Chelsea.

The club has been constrained by previous contracts and the Profit and Sustainability Rules, which have influenced their transfer activities this summer.

CLICK HERE TO JOIN THE CENTRE DEVILS WHATSAPP GROUP CHAT NOW!

As a result, they decided to sell Scott McTominay to Napoli, even after releasing high earners like Anthony Martial and Raphael Varane.

    Casemiro future at Manchester United

Although Casemiro’s exit seems unlikely, the arrival of Uruguayan midfielder Manuel Ugarte from PSG could make Manchester United more open to the idea of selling him.

Casemiro, who joined from Real Madrid, had a mixed 2023-24 season following a solid debut campaign in 2022-23.

However, he has shown significant improvement and a return to top form during pre-season, which may lead manager Erik ten Hag to reconsider letting him go.

As the Saudi transfer window remains open, Manchester United must weigh their options regarding Casemiro’s future at the club.

  • Manchester United to miss seven players for the Liverpool game

Manchester United are set to face a challenging test this weekend as they host Liverpool at Old Trafford in the Premier League.

The Red Devils are currently dealing with a series of injuries that could see up to seven players sidelined for the crucial match.

United have had a mixed start to their Premier League campaign, securing a narrow victory over Fulham but suffering a defeat against Brighton in their most recent outing.

This leaves them sitting in 11th place on the table, and they will be eager to turn things around against their fierce rivals on Sunday.

However, the task ahead has been made more difficult with the confirmation that several key players will be unavailable.

While the extent of these absences was already anticipated, it remains a significant setback for manager Erik ten Hag, who will have to navigate the match without some of his strongest options.

Seven players to miss out for Liverpool match

Mason Mount has been ruled out after revealing earlier this week that he has encountered another injury problem.

The midfielder joins a growing list of absentees, including Rasmus Hojlund, who is sidelined with a thigh injury. The Danish striker’s absence is another blow for Ten Hag, who is already grappling with limited attacking options.

In addition to Mount and Hojlund, four of United’s defenders are also set to miss the clash.

Luke Shaw is dealing with issues related to his calf, shin, and heel, while Victor Lindelof has been sidelined due to an ankle injury.

Tyrell Malacia will miss out due to a knee problem, and Leny Yoro is also unavailable as he recovers from an ankle injury.

These defensive woes leave United with a depleted backline for one of their most important fixtures of the season.

Adding to United’s challenges, new signing Manuel Ugarte, who was recently acquired from Paris Saint-Germain, will not be involved in the match.

Ugarte arrived too late to be registered in time for the Liverpool game, meaning Ten Hag will have to wait to integrate the new recruit into his plans.

Update on Liverpool team ahead of Sunday

On the other hand, Liverpool’s preparation for the match has been more positive.

Liverpool manager Arne Slot has received a boost with only one player, Curtis Jones, currently a doubt.

Jones didn’t participate in training on Friday due to a minor muscle injury, but the midfielder has yet to feature this season, having remained on the bench during Liverpool’s previous match against Ipswich Town.

Liverpool’s latest signing, Federico Chiesa, is in contention to make his debut. The Italian international joined team training on Friday but has not played since the European Championship.

While he might still need more time to regain full match fitness, his availability provides an option for Slot to consider.

As the two historic rivals prepare to face off, the contrast in their injury situations could play a significant role in determining the outcome of what promises to be an intense and highly anticipated encounter at Old Trafford.

That’s exactly what has happened to a recent Manchester United star.

Raphael Varane left Manchester United this summer on a free after three seasons at Old Trafford.

It has been confirmed that Raphael Varane has been ruled out for the season with injury.

Varane joined Como 1907 this summer after United decided against renewing his contract.

Despite playing in the FA Cup Final and helping the team to victory, the club felt that it was time to move on from the former Real Madrid man.

Ironically, his injury record was thought to be the primary reason.

CLICK HERE TO JOIN THE CENTRE DEVILS WHATSAPP GROUP CHAT NOW!

Now, Como have removed him from their Serie A squad list for the season due to an injury he has picked up.

The French centre back had only played 23 minutes for the Italian side.

Reports confirm that he suffered an issue with the flexor muscle in his thigh.

Raphael Varane will now not be able to play for Como until the next opportunity they get to update their Serie A squad.

It is believed that Varane had signed a two year deal with the Lombardy based club.

With his first year already wrecked by injury, Como fans will be wondering how much of Varane they will be seeing during his stay in Italy.

Meanwhile, United will be hoping that their replacement for Raphael Varane, Leny Yoro, recovers from his injury soon enough.

Many will be looking forward to seeing how he performs at the club in the coming weeks and months ahead.

The day is finally here, Scott McTominay has left Manchester United for the first time in his footballing career.

The Scotland international has been Manchester United’s most sellable asset this summer with eight different clubs looking to the midfielder.

Although McTominay only agreed terms with Galatasaray and Napoli, there was also interest from Everton, Brighton, Crystal Palace, Spurs, Fulham and Fenerbahce.

Fulham were front runners for a considerable time, submitting three different bids for the star, matching United’s asking price of £25 million before deciding to opt for Sander Berge from Burley instead.

Napoli stepped into the gap that Fulham left behind, matching the asking price once more, with United putting a sell on clause into the deal.

Now, Napoli have made it official with a photo being released of McTominay signing his contract in a Napoli shirt in the middle of the pitch.

United have sent a farewell to the midfielder with a post on X saying: “The Red who lived his dream”

It continued: “Your United family wishes you nothing but success in this new chapter, @McTominay10”

McTominay has been joined now with another former Red Devil in the form of Romelu Lukaku who has also been brought in late on this summer.
