    The Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Efenji Homes and Property Limited, Abuja, Mr Efenji Nicholas, has felicitates Cross River’s First Lady, Bishop Eyoanwan Otu on the occasion of her 61st birthday.

    Efenji Nicholas in a statement on Friday described the wife of the governor as an epitome of kindness, whose unwavering dedication to the betterment of Cross River is highly commendable.

    He said that Bishop Eyoanwan Otu’s selfless services and support to her husband, Governor Bassey Edet Otu, have been instrumental in the development of the state.

    Efenji Nicholas congratulates Achu Olaye FC for winning 2024 Cross River Governor’s Cup

    Congratulations to Achu Olaye Football Club of Bekwarra for their remarkable victory in the 2024 Cross River State Governor’s Cup. This triumph not only showcases their skill and determination but also represents a significant achievement for Bekwarra local government area.

    The competition, which featured several teams from across the state, highlighted the immense talent and passion for football in Cross River. The final match between Achu Olaye and Hilltop FC of Obudu held at the U.J Esuene Stadium, Calabar on Tuesday 17 December, 2024, was decided via penalty in which the Bekwarra team won 5-4.

    The game was a thrilling display of athleticism and teamwork, culminating in Achu Olaye’s well-deserved win. This victory is an evidence of the hard work and dedication of the players and coaching staff.

    The success of the team also underlines the importance of grassroot sports development in the LGA. Their achievement will inspire young athletes and foster a greater love for football in our various communities in Bekwarra.

    Let me also commend the Cross River State Governor, His Excellency Senator Prince Bassey Otu for demonstrating unwavering commitment to youth development through sports and other laudable enterprises.

    As we celebrate this victory, we look forward to seeing Achu Olaye FC continue to excel and represent our local government area with pride in future competitions.

    The National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) has honoured Mr Efenji Nicholas, the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Efenji Homes and Properties, with an Award of Excellence.

    NANS, the apex student body in Nigeria, on Tuesday 3rd December 2024, in Abuja, conferred the award on Efenji Nicholas, recognizing him as the ‘Beacon of Hope’, after considering his stellar humanitarian activities, contributions to economic development, youth empowerment and dedicated service towards nation building.

    Hails from Bekwarra local government area, Efenji Nicholas was a former chairmanship aspirant under the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the recent local government elections in Cross River State.

    Undeterred by the outcome of the election which did not favour him, the young, vibrant and dynamic business magnate cum politician is now more than ever motivated to continue in his philanthropic and humanitarian activities to bring much needed reliefs to growing community of people in despair.

    His unparalleled acts of kindness and goodwill have not gone unnoticed – they have rightly earned him litanies of awards and recognitions nationally.     In September 2024, Efenji Nicholas bagged the ‘Icon of Transformation/Peace Ambassador’ award conferred on him by the Northern Youth Peace Ambassadors (NYPA).

    The award by NANS is a further testament and validation of the genuineness and sincerity that are inherent in Efenji Nicholas’s humanitarian works and community service.

    Efenji Nicholas canvasses support for APC Chairmanship candidate in Bekwarra

    Former aspirant, Efenji Nicholas, has begun canvassing support for the chairmanship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Bekwarra local government area, Hon. Theresa Ushie.

    The MD/CEO of Efenji Homes and Properties, who lost out in the chairmanship primaries, had pledged his unalloyed support, and as well as urged all his supporters to queue behind the APC and all the party’s candidates for the November 2nd local government elections in Bekwarra.

    During the APC campaign that commenced in his hometown of Gakem, Beten and Otukpuru wards on Tuesday 29th October, 2024, Efenji Nicholas appealed to the good people of Bekwarra to support Hon. Ushie, whom he described as a leader with a developmental mindset that understood the peculiar challenges of the people.

    Former APC chairmanship aspirant, Efenji Nicholas, doles out financial support to Bekwarra students

    Mr Efenji Nicholas, the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Efenji Homes and Properties and former chairmanship aspirant in the recently concluded primaries of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Cross River, has extended financial support to students in Bekwarra local government area.

    Despite losing out in the race to serve the good people of the local government, Efenji Nicholas’s passion for humanitarian and community service remain unwavering. Barely a week after the primary elections, he entered into partnership with the National Association of Bekwarra Students (NABES) Worldwide to roll out an Educational Support Scheme for students in the LGA.

    Enabled by the financial support provided by the former chairmanship aspirant, NABES-WW led by its president, Sen. Obe Alphonsus Alokpa, set out to implement the Educational Support Scheme in primary and secondary schools across various wards in the local government area.

    Speaking in an interview shortly after the exercise, Alokpa said “My just concluded project was the production of exercise books for Bekwarra students as an educational support scheme. And it was sponsored by Mr Efenji Nicholas Iyiukanne, CEO of Efenji Homes and Properties.

    “Through his support we were able to reach out to primary and secondary schools in 5 wards. Some of the schools that benefitted include, Bekwarra Secondary School, Abuochiche; Community Secondary School, Afrike; St Justin’s Primary School, Beten; among others.”

    The student leader thanked Efenji Nicholas and commended him for demonstrating genuine love towards the people of Bekwarra. He called on other well-meaning individuals and groups to emulate his kind gesture for the progress of the LGA.

    An illustrious son of Bekwarra local government area of Cross River State has bagged the National Outstanding Leadership Award from the Northern Youth Peace Ambassadors (NYPA).

    Mr Efenji Nicholas, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Efenji Homes & Properties, Abuja, was on Thursday honoured as an ‘Icon of Transformation/Peace Ambassador’ by NYPA.

    According to the northern group, the award is in recognition of Efenji Nicholas’s “dexterous leadership acumen, passionate professional capabilities and commitment towards navigating Nigeria communities and humanitarian development for the benefit of the nation at large.”

    NYPA added that the award was to further encourage the recipient to continue steering the wheels towards even more greater humanitarian works and service that would impact communities across Nigeria.

    Recall that in August 2024, Efenji Nicholas was honoured with the Achievers Per Excellence Award by the Nigerian Youth League, in recognition of his exceptional contributions and outstanding service to humanity and the country.

    Efenji Nicolas is one of the founding members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Cross River State.
