Camera Details of the Motorola Edge (2023)
The Motorola Edge (2023) features a 50-megapixel main camera at the back, which includes optical stabilization and supports features like Active Photos, Night Vision, and 4K video recording at 30 frames per second. This primary camera boasts a wide f/1.4 aperture and utilizes 4-in-1 pixel binning to enhance image quality by processing light data into 2-micron super-pixels.
In simple terms, this camera can capture more light, resulting in photos with more details and depth. The ultrawide camera uses a 13-megapixel sensor and can also take close-up macro shots by digitally cropping the image. On the front side, it features a 32-megapixels selfie camera.
Pricing and Availability
The Motorola Edge (2023) has price tag of $600, and it is currently available the official Motorola website, Amazon, and Best Buy. It is available in a single-color option, Eclipse Black, featuring a vegan leather finish.
The latest Motorola phone appears to offer good value for its price, but it faces stiff competition. Google’s Pixel 8 has a faster processor, long-term Android OS support, and excellent cameras with feature-rich software. Samsung’s Galaxy S23 FE is also available in a similar price range. Also, you can often find refurbished or discounted previous-generation iPhones for the same price.
Street Fighter and fighting games in general have been intrinsically linked to hip hop for basically three decades now, and Capcom is pushing hard into that history for Street Fighter 6.
The Street Fighter X NERDS Clothing Steel Sessions rap album recently dropped featuring over a dozen artists, and it actually hits pretty hard.
While not every track is dedicated directly to the FGC and the games themselves, there are plenty that lean into theme like Evil Ryu, No E. Honda’s, Violent Ken, I Got Next, and Street Fighting — plus some deeper cuts like Prada Mama name dropping Pullum Purna from Street Fighter EX.
From an initial listen, our current favorites are probably Perfect, GG, Thru Harlem, Prada Purna and Sonic Boom though there’s a lot of good flow and clever licks throughout the whole thing.
Pretty much all of the samples used throughout the album only come from Street Fighter 2, which is not surprising, but maybe a bit disappointing since it would have been nice to hear some Street Fighter 3 and Street Fighter 4 love too.
The artists featured on the album includes HipHopGamer, Dave East, Black Soprano Family, D-Block, Charlie Clips, Royce Da 5’9″, Courtney Bell, Nino Man, Smoke DZA, Real.Novus, Prada Mama, Nym Lo, DNA, Al-Doe, Oswin Benjamin, Iman Nunez, Papoose, Grafh, Mega Ran and Dezzy Yates.
This big collaboration can be streamed on Apple Music, Spotify, YouTube, Soundcloud, Tidal, Deezer, Pandora and Amazon Music.
You can check out the music video for Perfect below as well as the lyric video for Street Fighting, and let us know in hte comments what your favorite tracks are off the album / recommendations for other FGC-themed music.
One of the newest additions to the cast of Loki season 2 is none other than the widely popular actor Ke Huy Quan who garnered a massive fanbase after his role as Waymond Wang in Everything Everywhere All at Once. Ke Huy Quan’s appearance in the MCU has drawn more attention toward the series than the series itself, and that’s quite remarkable. So, for those of you who enjoyed Quan’s role as Ouroboros or OB in Loki season 2 and want to explore his other works, we have listed the top 10 best Ke Huy Quan movies and TV shows. The list has been ranked as per IMDB ratings and I’m pretty sure you’ll enjoy watching these cinematic masterpieces. So what are we waiting for then? Let’s dive right into it!
10. Breathing Fire (1991)
Source: Youtube
Cast- Ke Huy Quan, Eddie Saavedra, Bolo Yeung, Ed Neil, Jerry Trimble Release Date- 16 January 1991 IMDB/ Rotten Tomatoes-5.1/ 65%
If you’re looking for a mindless action flick, this movie might be what you’re looking for. Breathing Fire was a classic, 90’s B- Grade action movie where Ke Huy Quan appeared as one of the three lead actors. It was easily a Karate Kid ripoff and the movie didn’t really try to hide this factor. This movie is by far among the lowest-rated among all Ke Huy Quan movies and TV Shows. The only highlighting factor about this movie was the martial arts sequences incorporated in the movie, other than that this movie just turned out to be an action-comedy flick even though it was not meant to be.
9. Encino Man (1992)
Source: IMDb
Cast-Brendan Fraser, Ke Huy Quan, Pauly Shore, Sean Astin, Robin Tunney Release Date-22 May 1992 IMDB/ Rotten Tomatoes-5.8/ 18%
Encino Man is another rather lowly-rated project starring Ke Huy Quan, even though he didn’t play any major role in the movie and was rather a side character, he made his presence felt throughout the movie. The lead role in this movie was undertaken by Brendan Fraser who became friends with Kim (Ke Huy Quan) after he saved him from some bullies. Very few people today know that these two massively popular actors have shared the screen with each other and now, you’re one of them
8. Finding Ohana (2021)
Source: IMDb
Cast-Lindsay Watson, Alex Aiono, Ke Huy Quan, Owen Vaccaro, Kelly Hu Release Date- 29 January, 2021 IMDB/ Rotten Tomatoes-6.1/ 82%
If you’ve watched The Goonies you will not have any difficulty figuring out that this was nothing more than an attempt by Netflix to recreate the aura the legendary TV show had. I’m not gonna say that this was a bad movie but it wasn’t exactly a blockbuster too and ranks among the average-rated Ke Huy Quan movies and shows. The child actors certainly did a great job and Ke Huy Quan’s charm was really a show-stealer. This is one of those movies that you can watch after a bad day at work to feel good and trust me, it’ll get the job done pretty well.
7. Second Time Around(2002)
Source: IMDb
Cast- Ekin Cheng, Ke Huy Quan, Cecilia Cheung, Johnny Koo Release Date-11 January 2002 IMDB/ Rotten Tomatoes-6.3/ 31%
Another movie where Ke Huy Quan plays a side character who appears rather occasionally in this 2002 romantic comedy where a man is trying to become a millionaire by gambling in Las Vegas. But things go horribly wrong and the man keeps going back in time in a loop repeating the same day trying to fix things. Ke Huy Quan didn’t appear for a very long time in this movie and even though it was rated above average among other Ke Huy Quan movies and TV shows, it’s really just a one-time watch movie.
6. Head of the Class (1990-1991)
Source: IMDb
Cast- Howard Hessman, Dan Frischman, JeannettaArnette, Robin Givens, Ke Huy Quan, Leslie Bega Release Date-17 September 1986 IMDB/ Rotten Tomatoes- 6.6/ 81%
Head of the Class was an American sitcom show that gained serious popularity in its time. Out of a total of 114 episodes, Ke Huy Quan appeared in 27 episodes from 1990-1991 in season 5 of this sitcom. The head of the Class revolved around a group of students preparing for an academic olympics event about to take place and is actually quite fun to watch. I’d say that among all the other Ke Huy Quan TV shows, this one can easily be counted as one of the best.
5. Nothing is Easy (1986-1987)
Source:IMDb
Cast-Natasha Bobo, Katie O’Neil, Elliot Gould, Scott Grimes, Ke Huy Quan, Dee Wallace Release Date-22 September 1986 IMDB/ Rotten Tomatoes-6.9/ 17%
This is one of those shows where Ke Huy Quan performed as a child actor. It revolved around a couple who thought they could never have children but really wanted them, so they started adopting children in need. Quan played the role of one of the adopted kids in the Randall household and is a pretty simple yet fun family drama-comedy show.
4. Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom (1984)
Source: IMDb
Cast-Harrison Ford, Kate Capshaw, Ke Huy Quan, Amrish Puri, Dan Aykroyd, Roshan Seth Release Date-8 May 1984 IMDB/ Rotten Tomatoes-7.5/ 77%
The first ever movie where Ke Huy Quan earned his name in the credits was Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom. In this movie, he starred as a child actor and Indiana Jones’ trusted sidekick. Quan played the role of “Short Round” in this movie and even though there was a significant age gap between Henry Ford and Ke Huy Quan, their on-screen chemistry was as good as it gets and was an absolute delight to witness.
3. The Goonies (1985)
Source: IMDb
Cast-Sean Astin, Josh Brolin, Corey Feldman, Jeff Cohen, Ke Huy Quan, Kerri Green Release Date-7 June 1985 IMDB/ Rotten Tomatoes-7.7/ 77%
One of the most memorable roles played by Ke Huy Quan was that of Data, in the 1985 movie called The Goonies. The Goonies was centered around a group of adventurer kids and Quan played the role of a tech-savvy kid whose signature look of a trench jacket filled with badges and his super cool belt surely became the Halloween attire for thousands of kids who watched this movie.
2. Loki Season 2 (2023- )
Source: YouTube/ Marvel Entertainment
Cast-Tom Hiddleston, Ke Huy Quan, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Wunmi Mosaku, Eugene Cordero, Tara Strong, Owen Wilson, Sophia Di Martino, Rafael Casal Release Date-6 October 2023 IMDB/ Rotten Tomatoes-8.2/ 92%
Consider this as a branching timeline where we’re branching from the Sacred timeline and putting Loki Season 2 at the penultimate spot despite it bagging more IMDb ratings than Everything Everywhere All at Once. One major reason is that we have seen only one episode of Loki Season 2 as of now and it’s too soon to judge the series on the basis of it. One of the most anticipated roles to be ever played by Ke Huy Quan was that of Ouroboros or OB in Loki Season 2 and I’m not exaggerating when I say that his fandom went haywire when they heard about this reveal. Since season 2 episode 1 has been released officially, people have already fallen in love with the character and can’t wait to see more of him in the upcoming Loki Season 2 episodes.
1. Everything Everywhere All at Once (2022)
Source: IMDb
Cast-Michelle Yeoh, Ke Huy Quan, Stephanie Hsu, Jamie Lee Curtis, James Hong, Jenny Slate Release Date-11 March 2022 IMDB/ Rotten Tomatoes-7.8/ 94%
Data was the most iconic role played by Ke Huy Quan before he came back on screen playing the role of Waymond Wang in Everything Everywhere All at Once. This movie was officially one of the best movies of 2022 and was also the Academy Award winner for some of the best performances of the year. Acting in this movie, Ke Huy Quan proved himself to still have the essence that made everyone fall in love with Data back in 1985. If you want to watch the best Ke Huy Quan movie, Everything Everywhere All at Once is the one you should watch.

The new mechanic introduced in Mortal Kombat 1 is the Kameo system. After selecting their point character, players must select a Kameo to assist them on command before every match.
A few weeks back, Cilvanis released a skit that demonstrates what it’s like fighting against an opponent in Mortal Kombat 1. Needless to say, the Kameo system proved to be a major part of the hilarity.
The fight started off with Kenshi taking a lead over Fire God Liu Kang. Scorpion would suddenly appeared on the scene after Liu Kang suspiciously reached into his pocket.
Since Kenshi is blind, he was having a difficult time figuring out what was happening. After getting jumped multiple times, Kenshi was eventually able to reveal the cell phone in Liu Kang’s pocket.
Understanding the rules better, Kenshi then proceeded to call his own Kameo. However, this scene would eventually lead into a unique type of Fatality instead.
Loki Season 2 is here with its first episode and it is nice to see how Marvel is building up their next big villain, Kang the Conquerer. While Kang has not appeared yet, he seems to be the main villain of the series. However, If we talk about Loki season 2 villains, yes villains it’s not a grammatical error, because folks, in this season there’s not just going to be one villain but a number of them. So in this article, we are going to cover an array of villains who are going to be a part of Loki season 2 cast. So without any further delay, let’s dive into our villainous endeavor!
Spoiler Alert: If you have not seen Loki Season 2Episode 1 or Season 1, this article contains major spoilers. Also, this is a preliminary list, and we will update it if and when new villains are revealed in the Loki TV series.
1. Victor Timely (Kang the Conquerer)
Source: YouTube/Marvel Entertainment
I’m most certain that among Loki Season 2 villains, Victory Timely is going to be the biggest-baddest one. I can make this assumption because he has been teased in Ant-Man Quantamania long before he was supposed to appear in Loki Season 2. Before season 2, Kang the Conqueror appeared as He Who Remains in Loki season 1 finale who was again the main antagonist of the series.
Victor Timely was first introduced in the Avengers Annual#21 in the year 1992 as an alternate version of Kang the Conquerer, if you’ve read the comics you might be aware of how menacing of a villain this guy can be but of course, he’ll not be the same as his version of the comics. But that doesn’t mean he isn’t going to be equally or even more deadly. I don’t know about you guys but I am pretty excited to witness how well or how badly Marvel manages to pull this off.
2. Ravonna Renslayer
Source: Disney+
We all witnessed Judge Renslayer being one of the most manipulative and deceiving villains in Loki season 1, who was ready to go to any extent in defense of the TVA even though she was fully aware that what they were doing was wrong. She was the one responsible for pruning Hunter C-20 when she became aware of the fact that she was not created by the timekeepers but was kidnapped by the TVA from her timeline. She even pruned Mobius, the one she called her best friend when he figured out the truth about the TVA, and by that, it’s pretty evident how menacing of a villain she is.
If we talk about Loki season 2 villains, we haven’t yet seen her appearing on the screen, but I am pretty sure she will appear sooner or later. According to me, when Loki glitched back in time and got pruned by an unknown person, that unknown person was no other than Judge Renslayer. Now what’s left to see is if this assumption of mine stands true or not in the upcoming episodes of Loki season 2.
3. Hunter X-5 (Brad Wolfie/ Zaniac)
Source: Disney +
One of the newer characters introduced in Loki Season 2 is Hunter X-5. In the very first episode, we get to see Hunter X-5 as a mean and disrespectful person, literally mocking Mobius’ love for jet skies but this is not the reason he’s being counted among the Loki season 2 villains. He seems to be the right-hand man of General Dox who does all her dirty work. By the end of the first episode, we see him with a lot of other hunters going out to “capture” Sylvie but the kind of weapons they are carrying seem like they are going out to kill her instead of capturing her.
In the trailer for Loki season 2, we get to see Hunter X-5 as a movie star named Brad Wolfie who, according to the comics, also becomes a villain named Zaniac responsible for Killing several women. Now what’s left to do is to see if this version of Zaniac in Loki season 2 is going to be like the one we have seen in the comics or not.
4. General Dox
Source: Disney+
Another new character introduced in Loki season 2 is General Dox who is one of the people in power at the TVA. Even though we didn’t get much footage of her in the first episode of Loki season 2 she made it pretty evident that she is not at all friendly towards Loki or Sylvie. She wants Sylvie to be taken care of as her killing “He Who Remains” disrupted the sacred timeline causing several alternate realities to branch out.
She is one of those characters in the series who want to keep things as they were in the TVA without addressing the factor of how much damage they cause to the lives of millions of people. Just like Renslayer, she seems to be highly devoted to the TVA to the point where she would do anything at any cost for the TVA.
5. Miss Minutes
Source: YouTube/Marvel Entertainment
Appearing for the first time in Loki season 1, Miss Minutes is a highly advanced holographic artificial intelligence, that was created to assist the members of the TVA. In season 1, she was the one who helped Loki through his training but later on, we find out that she works for Kang and is extremely loyal to him. In the Trailer for Loki Season 2, we see a clip of Miss Minutes in a gigantic form trying to crush people under her feet.
As far as think think, she’s going to appear as a minor villain in Loki season 2 but since she’s omnipresent in the TVA, she could also play a much more problematic role for Loki and his friends emerging to be a much menacing Loki season 2 villains
There has been a lot of discussion on the Huawei microscopic camera system recently. But, until now, there was no specific information about the tech. Also, how the new camera system would work on Huawei phones was unclear.
Well, there’s a piece of good news for those who were excited about it. Huawei has patented the camera system. And this patent has cleared up all confusion about the microscopic camera system. It also offers in-depth details on how it works and what you can use it for.
More About Huawei Microscopic Camera System
Under the patent, Huawei has explained all the benefits and use cases of the system. At the core, the Microscopic camera system works like an actual microscope. And you can use it to spot microorganisms using nothing but the camera of Huawei phones.
That said, the Huawei microscopic camera system doesn’t only use a standalone lens. Instead, for the system to work, the primary cameras of the device need to work together.
This means we will likely see future Huawei phones with extra microscopic lenses on the rear. Now, you may argue that most devices already have the macro mode that lets you take extreme close-up shots. Well, Huawei’s Microscopic camera aims to take things to the next level.
How the System Works
Huawei’s patent on the microscopic camera system goes through all the details. That includes how it works and what you can use it for. The system has two major components. As mentioned earlier, one is the regular camera of the device, and the other is the microscopic sensor.
The patent mentions that the microscopic sensor features 2 Math.m optical resolution. This sensor works with the primary camera to capture more information about objects.
About the working mechanism, the device’s primary camera will take the first shot. This capture helps the system identify the object the user is trying to focus on. After the initial shot, the microscopic camera system analyzes the object. With this, it detects microorganisms and collects more info.
Gizchina News of the week
After this, the Huawei microscopic camera starts the main process. It starts to uncover the micro information present in the shot. The system then starts to offer an in-depth insight into the object the user is trying to analyze.
Possible Use Cases of Huawei Microscopic Camera System
After capturing the image, users would need to tap on the objects within the image. After the tap, the system brings out intelligent prompts. These prompts include voice, text, and indicators. They will offer a detailed breakdown collected from the microscopic camera system.
Users can find out how hygienic the object is with the information presented. Besides, they can get detailed information about the microorganisms present in the object.
The system’s prompts will guide the users on what to do when there are issues with the object. For example, if the system detects harmful microorganisms in food, you will get information on how to sanitize it.
That means the Huawei microscopic system can do the following:
Offer food safety assurance
Make it easier to maintain kitchen appliances
Help with personal hygiene
Inspect children’s toys
Help to track pet hygiene
Make it easier to maintain cleanliness in the dining space
As the patent is already out, we won’t need to wait long to see the system in action. And once the system rolls out, it’ll be easy to discover more real-world applications.
There’s no denying that Google has always focused on elevating the photography experience on Pixel phones. With the launch of the Pixel 8 and 8 Pro, the tech giant has taken a groundbreaking step to redefine how you take photos using AI. There are a bunch of different features that have arrived with the Pixel 8 series, but the Best Take feature is indeed revolutionary, to say the least.
There’s a lot to this feature than meets the eye, and it will drastically change the way you capture everyday moments with your phone. It did for me, at least in the three days that I’ve spent with the Pixel 8 Pro. So, let’s learn how to use Best Take on Pixel 8 and 8 Pro, along with my impressions of this feature.
What is the ‘Best Take’ Feature on Pixel 8/8 Pro?
How many times have you had to take way too many photos with your friends for each one of you to be satisfied with the final shot? Even if you do settle on a photo, there are instances where not everyone is satisfied with the desired result. However, that will no longer be the case with the brand-new Best Take feature in Google Photos. Sadly, it is exclusive to the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro for now.
Using AI, the Best Take feature basically analyzes similar shots and provides you with a compilation of facial expressions from each of these photos. For example, you are trying to take a group photo or a selfie with one of your friends. Right when you hit the shutter button, either someone is looking the other way or blinking. That ruins the photo, and you gotta try again!
But, with the Best Take feature in the Google Photos app, you can take multiple shots and later on, use the feature to select the best possible facial expression for every person in a shot. This immediately ensures that you get the best shot from multiple shots without having to get it right each time.
The best thing? This feature doesn’t just work with group selfies..or groupfies (are we still calling it that, or has Gen Z coined a new word?). You can use it for selfies too. However, since it is normally the group selfies that are trickier to nail, you will end up using this feature more on those shots.
How to Use the Best Take Feature on Pixel 8 Pro
Something that I really liked about the Best Take feature is how easy it is to use. You don’t have to be adept at photo editing to use it. Just a couple of taps, and the AI does it all for you. With that being said, here’s how you use the Best Take feature on the Pixel 8 and 8 Pro:
1. First things first, capture multiple group selfies or your ownselfies.
Note: If you have turned Google Photos Backup on, the photos you capture should automatically get uploaded to your Google Photos account. If it’s not turned on, you can head to Google Photos Settings and manually toggle on the backup feature.
2. Then, head to the Google Photosapp on either of the Pixel 8 series phones.
3. Now, tap on any one photo from the multiple shots you took.
4. Next, tap on Edit and swipe on the bottom panel in Google Photos.
5. Here, go to the “Tools” tab to find the Best Take feature. Tap on it and the AI will start looking for similar shots.
6. Once it’s done analyzing, it will present the different facial expressions for you to select in a panel.
7. Tap on these faces to see all the expressions from the various shots compiled. Select the one that you like, and it should instantly replace the current facial expressions and angles in your photo.
8. And that’s it; the changes have been made to your photo. However, you can also “Save a Copy”of the edited image.
Here’s a quick before and after photo created using the Best Take feature in Google Photos on Pixel 8 and 8 Pro:
Pixel 8 Pro Best Take Example: Before (L) vs After (R)
Note: The Best Take feature does not work on a system level. It can only be used if the shots that you are capturing are backed up and stored on Google Photos.
Is Google Pixel 8’s Best Take Worth the Hype?
I’m not going to lie, Best Take is one of the coolest photo editing features added to a smartphone in recent years. However, it is not really something new. Yeah, you heard that right. Remember the time when Nokia Lumias pretty much captured the entire smartphone market with their flagship cameras? If you ask me, Lumia phones were great (minus the Windows Store) and way ahead of their time.
Almost a decade ago, with the Nokia Lumia 925 and 1020, they released something very similar to what the Google Pixel 8 series is doing right now. Moreover, it worked great. Popular tech enthusiast @sondesix took to X (formerly Twitter) to reveal this piece of information, and it instantly gave me a flashback.
The idea behind Google Pixel 8’s Best Take feature is not new.
BlackBerry had a similar idea about changing facial expressions after taking the picture. That was about 11 years ago, with the introduction of BlackBerry 10.
I remember how popular these camera features were. They took the tech world by storm back in the day, which is why everyone wanted to own a Nokia Lumia back then. Now? Your Lumia is probably dead, gathering dust in a drawer somewhere. The point is, that Google has been known to kill products. I mean, there’s a website (visit) dedicated to everything that Google has killed. That is exactly why I couldn’t help but frown when I heard that the Google Pixel 8 and 8 Pro were getting a whopping 7 years of software support. Will Google even be able to stick to its promise?
The Best Take feature is, hands down, a super cool camera feature that will save all of us the hassle of finding the right photo. Why do so when you can literally make one in a matter of seconds? My experience with Google Photos’ Best Take feature was pretty good, and it did take me aback. The kind of accuracy I got to see with the feature had me questioning everything. Will Skynet be a reality pretty soon? It’s just that good a feature, and you can’t tell that the facial expressions on a photo have been swapped with another. Who even needs Adobe Photoshop anymore?
However, it all boils down to if and how much you are planning on using these AI features. By the end of the day, Pixel phones have never been about performance. Instead, they have always been about peak Android experience and unbeatable cameras. If that’s what you want, there’s nothing quite like it in the smartphone market right now. With these phones, you just need to take a leap of faith. With that being said, let me know in the comments if the latest Google Pixel 8 series and its AI photo editing features are fascinating to you.
If you can recall, Intel unveiled its Arc A-Series desktop cards last year. And during the unveiling, it introduced four models: the Arc A770, A750, A580, and A380. Among them, the market only saw the release of the Arc A770, A750, and A380. The Intel Arc A580 remained pretty much under the radar.
Well, Intel has finally decided to launch the budget-friendly GPU. Starting today, you can grab the Arc A580 for your gaming system for a starting price of $179. It’s available through GPU partners Sparkle, Gunnir, and ASRock. And considering its price, the GPU is a decent purchase for budget-centric builds.
More About the Intel Arc A580
Under the hood, the Intel Arc A580 comes with 24 Xe cores and ray tracing units. The base clock speed of the card is 1700MHz. However, all the GPU partners overclocked the GPU, making it reside in the 2000MHz range. The board also comes with 8GB of GDDR6 memory, which features a 256-bit wide memory bus.
Image: Intel Arc Series Comparison
The memory bus of the Intel Arc A580 offers 512GB/s of memory bandwidth. In terms of power, the board features a total board power rating of 180W. As you can tell, the overall specs of the GPU are pretty similar to the Arc A750. However, that board goes for $249.
Gizchina News of the week
Now, if you’re wondering why Intel took almost a year to launch the Arc A580, it’s likely for inventory issues. After all, the GPU is a cutdown version of the A750 and A770. So, Intel had to wait for enough inventory of unused wafers from the other 7-series cards.

But the good news is that the Arc A580 can offer similar performance to the A750. Intel has also packed XeSS, which aims to offer a smooth high refresh rate experience on 1080p. However, it’s important to note that the card is more power-hungry than its rivals. For example, the RX 6600 is rated for 132W while the RTX 3050 is at 130W.
Super Street Fighter 2: The New Challengers was released into the arcades on September 10, 1993 and September 11, 1993 in Japan and North America respectively. It was during this game that Cammy White, a “19-year-old female special forces agent from England with a mysterious past tied to M. Bison,” made her debut video game appearance.
Compared to the other World Warriors that made their debut appearance in Super Street Fighter 2: The New Challengers (Fei Long, T. Hawk, and Dee Jay), Cammy is clearly the most popular as she’s the only character that returned for all of Street Fighter 4, Street Fighter 5, and Street Fighter 6.
Needless to say, Cammy White also happens to be a popular character among cosplayers that are bold enough to portray her. We recently came across Ivychan’s Instagram page where she has cosplayed as various iterations of Cammy.
Cammy’s most iconic appearance is how she appeared in Super Street Fighter 2: The New Challengers and Street Fighter 4. By this point in Cammy’s life, she is working as a Delta Red special agent to take down Shadaloo. She’s wearing a green thong leotard, red gauntlets, a red beret, red socks, and black boots. Additionally, camouflage paint has been plastered on Cammy’s legs.
It’s said that Cammy prefers the leotard due to the optimal speed, mobility, and flexibility it provides her. Indeed, Cammy is typically known for having above average speed and mobility within every Street Fighter title that she’s been playable in.
Before joining Delta Red, Cammy actually worked as an assassin for Shadaloo. Back then, Cammy was simply known as “Killer Bee.”
While operating as Killer Bee, Cammy wears a light blue thong leotard, a small yellow tie attached to her outfit’s turtleneck, a blue garrison cap, brown boots, and red gauntlets. Light blue paint is also present on Cammy’s legs.
One of Cammy’s more interesting alternate costumes in Street Fighter 4 had her dressed up similarly to M. Bison. Had M. Bison got his way, Cammy would’ve become a host for M. Bison’s will after it was projected that the usage of Psycho Power would eventually destroy M. Bison’s body.
Of course, it should be noted that Ivychan added a cape to the costume for extra flair.
Finally, Cammy’s appearance takes a drastic change in Street Fighter 6. Here, she wears a dark blue sports bra and yoga pants.
Fans that look real closely should be able to spot the Delta Red triangle emblem pinned at the front of Cammy’s leather jacket. The England flag is prominent at the back of this jacket.
