  • How to capture good images without proper editing skills

A good image is very important, especially for photos that are posted on social media. It can quickly grab the attention of the viewer which may lead to further viewing. During holidays, everyone is sharing photos taken during their travels. Well, only a few wonderful photos catch the attention of people and leave a decent impression. Taking good photos is an art that requires a combination of skills and techniques. While editing can enhance the quality of a photo, it is not always necessary to produce a great image. In this article, we will discuss how to snap good images without proper editing skills.

    good images

    1. Photo Style

If you want a photo to attract attention, you need to enhance the style of the photo. Of course, this does not mean that you need excessive post-production to create an exaggerated effect. However, you can start by controlling the characters you want in the photo itself. Let’s take a look at how we can improve the photo style

    a) Uniform colours

While many may not pay attention to colours when taking images, it is very important. When there are too many colours clouding an image, the overall effect may be clashing. Thus, there is a need to unify the colours as much as possible.

The image above shows a set of nine photos taken in different environments but have similar colours. This gives people a comfortable and harmonious feel. Although there are many photos, the overall appearance is not cluttered because the colours are very unified. This also makes the style of the photos very prominent, making people want to look further.

    b) Unified composition

When taking images, make sure that all the components of the image are unified. For instance, if the background of the image is not the focus, then avoid capturing much of the background. Also, when capturing a group of people, ensure that they are positioned in the middle.

It is important to consider the placement of your subject, the background, and any other objects in the frame. Use the rule of thirds to create a balanced composition. This involves dividing the frame into thirds both horizontally and vertically, and placing your subject at one of the intersections.

When taking a photo, it is important to have a clear subject. This will help to create a strong focal point and make the photo more interesting. Avoid cluttered backgrounds and try to keep the focus on one subject at a time.

    c). Photo Posting

When posting multiple photos, the order of the photos will also affect the display effect. For example, when posting 4 or 9 photos, the entire photo will be displayed in a “square” shape. This looks more appealing to the eyes.

    good images

Also, 3 pictures and 6 pictures will be displayed in a “rectangular shape”, which also looks comfortable. However, 5, and 7 pictures will form an incomplete “rectangle”, and the look and feel will be a little worse.

    Gizchina News of the week

    good images

Among multiple photos, the first one and the photo in the center receive relatively more attention. For example, in a nine-square grid photo, the first and fifth photos are more important. We can put the key photos, such as group photos of people, in this position.

    good images

    2. Photo location

Do not settle for less when it comes to choosing a location for photos. This will affect the overall appearance of the image. If you choose a slum with some unpleasant sights, then the image may not be the beauty that you expect it to be. Choose a location with calm and very clean colours – bright colours like white or cream do a good job.

    3. Get to know your camera

Before you start taking photos, it is important to understand the capabilities of your camera. Take some time to read the manual and learn about the different settings and features. This will help you to take better photos and make the most of your camera.

    4. Learn how to use light

Lighting is one of the most important factors in photography. It can make or break a photo. Learn how to use natural light to your advantage. Try to avoid harsh, direct sunlight and instead look for soft, diffused light. You can also experiment with artificial lighting, such as lamps or flashes, to create different effects.

    5. Experiment with exposure

Exposure refers to the amount of light that enters the camera. It can be adjusted using the aperture, shutter speed, and ISO settings. Experiment with different exposure settings to create different effects. For example, a low aperture can create a shallow depth of field, while a high shutter speed can freeze motion.

    6. Use photo accessories

There are a variety of accessories that can help you to take better photos. Tripods can help to keep your camera steady, while filters can be used to adjust the colour or contrast of a photo. Experiment with different accessories to see what works best for you.

Don’t be afraid to try new things and experiment with different techniques. Some of the most interesting photos come from unique and unexpected ideas. Look for interesting angles and perspectives, and try to capture the essence of your subject in a creative way.

    Conclusion:

Taking good photos is a skill that can be learned and improved over time. By following these tips, you can snap good images without proper editing skills. Remember to get to know your camera, learn how to use light, compose each photograph, focus on one subject at a time, experiment with exposure, use photo accessories, think outside the box, and ask for feedback. With practice and patience, you can take great photos that capture the beauty of the world around you.

  • Omni-Man’s most infamous scenes compared side-by-side with Mortal Kombat 1’s recreations but those aren’t the only references

One has to wonder if any original fans of Invincible from 20 years ago wished to see their favorite superpowered characters represented in Mortal Kombat, but if they did, it’s finally their time in the sun.

Omni-Man’s debut trailer for Mortal Kombat 1 was unveiled to the world this weekend, and though there wasn’t a ton of gameplay, there were recreation of the bad dad’s most brutal and infamous scenes — and that’s not all.

A handful of people across the internet have already put together some side-by-side comparisons between MK1 and the Invincible TV series including Skybound Games, who are working on a mobile title for the comic franchise.

Their’s seems to be the most complete that we’ve come across thus far since it goes over not just the Fatalities and Fatal Blow but also some of the gameplay snippets too.

Unsurprisingly, it appears that NetherRealm Studios has put a lot of work re-capturing the scenes from Season 1 of Invincible to quite literally excruciating detail and even from some new angles.

We think Omni-Man’s most famous “Think!” climactic beatdown is probably going to be his Fatal Blow while the train sequence and head pop are his Fatalities.

There’s not really much more we can or have to say about them but, it looks like they’ve done well and see for yourselves.

And hopefully there’s some more references to the comic book material too and not just the show (or known mostly because of it).

Those aren’t even the only references packed into the trailer either, as you just have to take a closer look at that train scene.

If you look closely at the left side of the station, you can see the Boon and Tobias exit signs that should look pretty darn familiar to MK fans as the continued nod to series creators Ed Boon and John Tobias.

Instead of just copying Invincible, NRS has Omni-Man take his enemy down to the Subway stage that first appeared all the way back in Mortal Kombat 3.

Although the Subway makes cameos in Mortal Kombat 11’s Story and Retrocade, we haven’t gotten to properly play on the stage since 2011’s reboot, so it’s nice to see it brought back in some capacity for the new timeline even if brief.

Ed Boon is promising there’s still so much of Omni-Man we haven’t seen yet, so it’s going to be interesting to see what other references they’re giving him in MK1 along with how much is going to be new.

On top of the first DLC fighter, NetherRealm also revealed release window information for MK1’s first Kombat Pack including that Johnny Cage has been replaced as a Kameo.

  • How to Breed Cows in Minecraft (Easy Guide)

Your interactions with passive mobs in Minecraft are much more straightforward than the hostile ones since they don’t fight back. Though, it’s not always easy to make them do what you want, especially in the case of Minecraft villagers. Some of those passive mobs are necessary, especially in the early game. Some mobs grant you access to good-quality food items and other rather helpful drops, like wool in Minecraft. Therefore, several players opt to breed these mobs to multiply their numbers and therefore their drops. One such useful passive mob is the cow in Minecraft, and you can breed them easily.

For that reason, we will be looking at how to breed cows in this article and why you should even do that in Minecraft. We have included a list of items and drops you can get from cows at the end. So, without further ado, let’s moo

How to Breed Cows in Minecraft (Easy Guide)

    Cow Mob in Minecraft: Basics

Cows are very common passive mobs. They spawn in pretty much all grassy biomes and all look the same, both as adults and as babies. Killing these mobs can yield a great source of food, beef that can be cooked and turned into steak. Also, they drop leather, which is mostly used as a crafting ingredient. Using a bucket on a cow will fill the bucket with milk and drinking it will remove all status effects.

    Resources Requires to Breed Cows

The only resource you are going to need to breed cows is wheat in Minecraft. You can stumble upon matured, ready-to-be-harvested wheat in village farms. But, you can also get wheat by growing it yourself easily. We have a detailed guide on how to plant seeds and grow crops in Minecraft, so feel free to check it out.

Wheat and wheat seeds on a village farm

With this knowledge, you will be able to get wheat in no time. To breed cows, you need a single wheat per cow, so if you’ve got a whole herd of them, make sure to bring a bunch of wheat.

Where to Find Cows in Minecraft

Cows are common passive mobs. You will find grazing the pastures in pretty much every grassland biome in Minecraft. Usually, they spawn in herds of 2-4 cows, depending on the game version you’re playing. However, the cows don’t spawn in the following biomes: Snowy Plains, Meadows, Mangrove Swamps, and Wooded Badlands.

Naturally spawned cows in a plains biome

Another place where you will find cows is villages. Learn how to find villages in Minecraft via the linked guide. Sometimes, villages can generate animal pens, where you can find cows in addition to some other passive mobs. Furthermore, they may spawn in the butcher’s house pen as well.

If you’d like to transport cows from one location to another, you can just hold wheat in your hand in front of them and they will follow you. Alternatively, you can use Minecraft boats or minecarts to do the same action more quickly.

Breed Cows in Minecraft: A Step-by-Step Guide

With the basics out of the way, you are now ready to breed cows and give birth to a calf in your Minecraft world. Here are the steps you need to follow:

    1. Place wheat on your hot bar in Minecraft and select it.
    2. Walk up to a cow and right-click it. You should see heart particles appear above their head.
    Feeding wheat to a cow
    1. Then, do the same thing with the other adult cow. You will see heart particles above their head as well.
    2. After that, you will see the cows getting close to each other. Some more heart particles will appear and then a calf will spawn, as well as a bit of XP for you.
Cows breeding and producing a calf in Minecraft
    1. If you have extra wheat, you can always feed the calf by right-clicking it with the food selected.
Feeding wheat to a baby cow, so it grows a bit more quickly

Small green particles will appear above its head, indicating the wait time for it to grow into an adult cow was shortened a bit. Furthermore, all mobs have a certain cooldown between breeding sessions. So, you will need to wait for a few minutes to breed the cows again.

Why Are Cows Useful in Minecraft

    1. Raw Beef & Leather

    Cow drops in Minecraft

After you kill a cow in Minecraft, it can drop beef and leather as well as XP. Using the looting enchantment on your sword in Minecraft will increase the number of drops to up to 6 beef (or steak if you also have a fire aspect on your sword) and 5 leather.

Beef can be cooked in a furnace or even a smoker and it becomes steak, one of the best food items in the game. Whereas, leather is a crafting ingredient in several useful recipes. You can also sell it to leatherworker villagers and make a ton of emeralds, so you can buy other goods.

    2. Cow’s Milk

    Milking a cow in Minecraft

Apart from their drops, cows can yield milk. To milk a cow, you will need to make a bucket in Minecraft. Then, simply right-click the mob with the bucket, and it will fill up with milk. Milk can be incredibly useful, especially while raiding an ocean monument or when fighting pillager patrol captains.

Drinking milk will immediately remove all the status effects one has applied at the time. However, keep in mind that all effects count, both positive and negative. So, choose the right time to drink milk. Also, milk is a necessary ingredient for making a cake, food item, and a sweet decorative block.

So, there you go. Now you know how to breed cows and get mi9lk in Minecraft. Would you like cows to have some more variants or maybe have other functions? Let us know in the comments below!

Interestingly, Google is taking its implementation of the Material You design a step further by introducing a new look to its Android app. The confirmation came directly from the company itself through its Telegram channel. The rollout of this new design will occur gradually and in phases, starting with the Canary test version.

    Gizchina News of the week

If you’re eager to try out the new design, you can already do so by updating to the Canary version. Once installed, simply open a new tab to behold the refreshed page and explore its additional information.

Upon observation of the accompanying images, it becomes evident that the “New Tab” page has undergone significant changes. The visual elements are more visually appealing, with the Google search bar taking up more screen real estate.

Additionally, the background color of the page now harmonizes with the user’s smartphone theme. Adapting to the predominant colors chosen by the user. This introduces dynamic themes to the Chrome browser, allowing the page to seamlessly blend with the user’s preferred aesthetics. For instance, if the smartphone has a dark theme or dark mode enabled, the page background will adopt a more subdued tone, and vice versa.

It’s important to note that the new design is currently in the testing phase and is available exclusively in the Chrome Canary version, which can be downloaded from the Google Play Store for Android users. However, it is highly likely that this fresh look will eventually be implemented in the standard version of the browser. Enhancing the browsing experience for all users.

  • Top 10 Best Loki Comic Storylines (Ranked)

    Top 10 Loki Comic Storylines

With the return of Loki in season 2 of the chart-breaking first season of Tom Hiddleston’s standalone series on Disney Plus, there’s serious hype around the character of Loki. While Loki has become one of the most loved MCU series, most of us are unaware of the influence Loki has had on the Marvel Comic Universe and I’m here to change that for you, once and for all. Today, I’m gonna share the list of my personal favorite top 10 Loki comic storylines in this article. So, without much further ado, let’s dive right into it!

    10. Avengers #1

    Avengers #1

If we talk about Loki in Marvel comics, how can we not talk about a standoff between Loki and the Avengers? This comic issue was the first Marvel comic to introduce the superhero team of Avengers. However, the Avengers here were quite different than what we witnessed in the MCU. This team consisted of Ant-Man (Hank Pym), Hulk (Bruce Banner), Iron Man (Anthony Stark), Thor, and well, the Wasp (Janet van Dyne).

This comic series revolves around Loki framing the Hulk for a train wreck that caused a huge number of casualties, and the Avengers come together to fight against Hulk thinking of him as a threat. But later on, Loki is revealed to be the real enemy, and The Hulk joins forces with the Avengers to take a stand against him. This comic book is really old but is one of the best comics involving Loki and a villain to read.

    9. Siege

    Siege

This comic run revolves around Norman Osbourn invading Asgard under the influence of Loki, and the Avengers are seen attempting to stop him along with Thor. Seige is more like the finale to a number of other comic runs like The House of M, Avengers: Disassembled, and Secret Invasion.

If you’re not that much into comics and are aware of the plot of the other comics mentioned above, I wouldn’t recommend you to read this. But if you’re up for some research beforehand, you can certainly dive right into it.

    8. Vote Loki

    Vote Loki

Vote Loki is one of the short-run comics that revolve around Loki using his trickery and deception to run for the president of the United States. This comic was created as a satire of the political scenario in 2016 and was not your regular superheroes-throwing-punches-at-the-supervillain comic book.

What makes this comic run special is that the Vote Loki from this comic appeared as a Loki Variant in Loki Season 1. This comic is more on the sarcastic-satirist-funny side and is pretty enjoyable in itself.

    7. Thor and Loki: Blood Brothers

    Thor and Loki: Blood Brothers

If you’re looking for a comic book that makes you understand the perspective of Loki, then Thor and Loki: Blood Brothers is your ultimate destination. This comic book revolves around the story of the eternal conflict between Loki and Thor but from the point of view of Loki. In this comic, you clearly see how Loki has always been living under the shadow of his brother Thor and the way it affects him. Blood Brothers gives us a much clearer perspective on how Odin is extremely partial towards Loki and always favors Thor.

This comic book also gives us a view of how the dynamic between Loki and Thor really is. Sure, they are always at war with each other but also have a certain degree of compassion towards each other, just like any other sibling relationship, only a little more extreme.

    6. Frog of Thunder

    Frog of Thunder

Frog of Thunder is one of the rather unique Loki comic storylines that can be found in the comic runs of The Mighty Thor #364-366 or in the collective volume of The Mighty Thor, Volume 4. In this storyline, Thor is, well, turned into a frog and fights against a plethora of villains, including a massive role played by Loki as an antagonist.

There are not a lot of superheroes in Marvel comics who have ever taken the form of amphibians so that makes this comic run very special. We also witness this version of Thor for a brief moment in Loki Season 1 so if you wish to see this amphibian avatar of Thor giving Loki hell, do read this comic series!

    5. Journey Into Mystery: Fear Itself

Top 10 Best Loki Comic Storylines (Ranked)

This Loki comic run is special because here, we get to see kid Loki in action as an anti-hero. This story follows the time when Thor was held prisoner by the Serpent, and there’s a deadly war going on in Asgard between Odin and the Serpent. In this story, we see that Loki has died and is reborn as a kid who goes on a mission to the underworld in order to rescue Thor.

Kid Loki is easily one of the most loved Loki variants since his incorporation into Loki Season 1 and from the comic point of view, he is one of the most interesting ones as well. Before this comic run, Loki was purely a villain but once he was reborn, something changed about him. He developed a deeper sense of compassion and was always meddling between a dilemma of taking the right path or the wrong one. Trust me, once you start reading this comic series, you’re gonna fall in love with this variant of Loki.

    4. Diversions and Misdirections

    Diversions and Misdirections

This comic run has by far the best villainous plot ever created by Loki against Thor. This story is told in Thor#12 where Loki teams up with Hela in an attempt to exact revenge on Thor. He travels back in time with the help of Hela and alters certain events to gain an upper hand over Thor and to be able to hurt him.

He even travels back to the time when Odin adopted Loki as an infant and sets up his original father to die at the hands of Odin. It’s a pretty mind-boggling comic and will not let you rest till you read it cover to cover.

    3. Young Avengers: Style > Substance

    Young Avengers: Style > Substance

This comic storyline follows the formation of a new team of Earth’s mightiest heroes called the Young Avengers. In this comic, a major villain from Loki’s past reappears, which makes him join forces with the other young heroes.

On top of that, Wiccan conjures up a villainous, evil entity called Mother. Since this team of superheroes are literally teenagers, they have to go through a completely different set of problems among themselves meanwhile attempting to get rid of a much greater threat.

    2. Loki: Agent of Asgard

    Loki: Agent of Asgard

Loki: Agent of Asgard is a non-linear comic run where Loki sets out on various missions as a secret agent for Asgard. These missions are different in each comic and can range from a heist in the Avengers tower or finding a magical sword hidden in Asgard.

This comic run is a must-read for Loki fans as it is kind of where the concepts for the Loki series originated. In this comic series, we get to see encounters between Loki and his variants as well which is quite interesting if you’ve seen Loki season 1.

    1. Trials of Loki

    Trials of Loki

This four-part comic issue presents us with an insight into the character Loki. In this comic run, we first meet Loki, who has been exiled from Asgard. The rest of the comic book dives deep into his backstory and gives us flashbacks of why Loki was exiled. These flashbacks go back to when Odin adopted Loki and how Thor’s hammer was almost Loki’s.

This comic run also introduces us to Hela in one of its parts and how similar she and Loki are to each other. If you really really want to understand the character of Loki and don’t want to delve into classic Norse literature, this comic run is the ideal text for you!

  • Nemo explains why JP’s command grab is still dangerous at high levels and offers warning for Street Fighter 6’s future

JP is still arguably Street Fighter 6’s strongest and maybe scariest character to fight against, but a lot of that is put on Amnesia and a lot of his other tools though not so much for Embrace.

Longtime SF pro and JP main WRZT|Nemo recently discussed why he thinks his command grab is still dangerous at high levels and offers a warning for the future of the game.

FGC Translated is back for the first time in a while highlighting one of Nemo’s recent streams surrounding his tournament run for the Capcom Pro Tour 2023 World Warrior Japan event.

Things start out with Nemo showing off how getting a grab in the corner with JP gives him basically a real 50/50 with threatening Embrace or Drive Impact on the opponent’s wakeup.

If they try to block, they get beat by both options. If they jump, they get beat by DI. If they parry they get hit by the command grab.

The only real way to beat besides guessing right is to spend meter on a Super.

I’m not sure if I’d really call that much of a gamechanger, but Nemo takes it in a different direction.

He asks if this is the future we want for the game if other grappler characters like Zangief, Manon and Lily get these same types of consistent setups though he is pretty biased against those fighter archetypes — so maybe it’s all just a ploy to try and keep them in the lower tiers.

During his World Warrior sets, Nemo also talks about what it’s going to be like after JP gets the likely nerf hammer in the future where he feels as though other players won’t “forgive” the villain even if he’s suddenly bad.

You can check out all that with much more detail plus more discussions below thanks to FGC Translated’s strong work.

  • Mortal Kombat 1 Kombat Pack replaces Johnny Cage Kameo, release date windows revealed for DLC characters

Mortal Kombat and Invincible fans got treated to a first look at Omni-Man in a new trailer, but that’s not all we learned today.

NetherRealm Studios also revealed some new information regarding Mortal Kombat 1’s first Kombat Pack, including that Johnny Cage is no longer on it.

Alongside the trailer, NRS released a more detailed press release that included some release window information like Tremor is unsurprisingly coming with Omni-Man this November.

That wasn’t the most interesting thing, however, as Johnny Cage’s spot on the Kameo DLC inclusions has now been given to one Janet Cage.

On top of that, they also gave the general launch windows for the DLC fighters in KP1 where Quan Chi and Peacemaker are both listed as Winter 2023/2024, Ermac and Homelander for Spring 2024 and Takeda Takahashi all the way out in Summer 2024 — and though some of them are listed in the same timeframe, they probably aren’t releasing at the same time.

So what’s up with Janet Cage? Some Mortal Kombat 1 Story Mode spoilers to follow.

Janet Cage appears in the final chapter of MK1’s cinematic story as a parallel timeline fighter that the player encounters.

As far as we can tell from her brief inclusion, she basically just seems to be a gender-swapped version of Johnny though NRS may flesh her out more now that she’s going to be in the game as an assist.

This isn’t the first time NRS has seemingly changed their DLC plans after initial announcements considering Mortal Kombat 11 featured the whole debacle of Evil Dead’s Ash Williams being seemingly confirmed for the game before getting replaced by Batman’s Joker.

It’s unknown though if this was a decision made after the fact or perhaps the developers always planned for Janet, but didn’t want to spoil any story twists before release.

Either way, we don’t have a release window yet for Janet nor the other Kameo fighters coming after Tremor with Ferra, Khameleon and Mavado though they’ll probably be dropping with main DLC fighters too.
