• Once done, the Wi-Fi password will be revealed, and you will also see a Copy and Speak option. So you can copy the password with a single tap or make your iPhone speak the Wi-Fi password.

While viewing the password of the Wi-Fi network you are currently connected to is pretty straightforward, finding the password of the previously connected Wi-Fi network is tedious, as Apple has hidden that setting. Here’s how you can view the passwords of the Wi-Fi network your iPhone was previously connected to:

• Open the Settings app on your iPhone, then tap the Wi-Fi option.
• Here, tap the Edit button at the top-right corner of your screen to view all the Wi-Fi networks your iPhone was previously connected to.
• Now, select a network with a lock icon and tap the “i” (information) icon next to it.
• On the following screen, tap the Password field to reveal the password.

• Once done, the Wi-Fi password will be revealed, and you will also see a Copy and Speak button so you can copy the password with a single tap or make Siri speak it out loud.

We are halfway through Loki season 2, and episode 3 has left us hanging with some serious cliffhangers. In this episode of Loki season 2, as I predicted before in our episode 2 recap, Mobius and Loki set out to look for Renslayer and Miss Minutes in order to prevent the temporal loom from collapsing. We see Ouroborus trying his best to fix the temporal loom, but ultimately, he is unable to fix it since he cannot access it without the temporal aura of He Who Remains.

Loki and Mobius come to the conclusion that since Miss Minutes has administrative control over the TVA, she can help them fix the loom and if they can find Renslayer, they will also find Miss Minutes along with her. Thus, they both set out to find Renslayer and Miss Minutes based on their Tempad traces. However, Loki Season 2 episode 3 has a dramatic ending and many might be confused as to what happened. So let me explain.

Tara Strong’s Miss Minutes and Her Secrets

By the end of Loki Season 2 Episode 3, we get to know a lot about Miss Minutes and it turns out, that behind that cute face and adorable appearance, there hides an almost psychotic Terminator-ish artificial intelligence. Miss Minutes was last seen in Loki Season 1 where she left along with Renslayer and now, she has reappeared as a sinister mastermind behind planting the origin of the next He Who Remains along with Renslayer.

We see her dropping a TVA handbook to a young boy in 1868 who grew up to be Victor Timely played by Jonathan Majors, one of the variants of He Who Remains. It proves the prophecy made by He Who Remains that a number of his variants will appear if Sylvie kills him, ultimately resulting in a universal war.

I like the fact that MCU is using Loki season 2 to set up the upcoming Marvel movies like Avengers Secret Wars and Kang Dynasty; well done Marvel. Coming back to Miss Minutes, we get to see how she actively manipulates Timely, who at this point in time is merely a con man, into abandoning Renslayer after he discovers his destiny to be He Who Remains.

We also find out that since Miss Minutes is a completely autonomous AI who literally has a mind of her own, she has a serious crush on He Who Remains and holds a grudge against him for not giving her an actual body. When she confesses her feelings to Victor, he is scared and shaken ultimately capturing her in a TemPad.

By the end of this episode, we see Miss Minutes back with Renslayer at the end of time in the citadel of He Who Remains about to reveal a secret to her that might make her mad. And I have a very strong theory about what is Renslayer’s big secret. Wanna know? Read on to find out what she’s hiding!

What Does Miss Minutes Know about Renslayer in Episode 3?

The end of Loki season 2 episode 3 is quite intense if you ask me. We see Loki and Sylvie in a similar situation they were in Loki Season 1 Episode 6. Sylvie has followed Loki and Mobius to 1893 and is trying to kill Victor Timely because, to her, he is just another variant of He Who Remains.

Loki tries to explain to her that they need him to save the TVA and the rest of the branched timelines from collapsing. Finally, after all attempts of Loki fail, Timely’s own plea to Sylvie saves his life and Loki and Mobius take Victor Timely to the TVA. However, Renslayer is left at the hands of Sylvie who has longed to kill her for a long time. Surprisingly, instead of killing Renslayer, she opens a time door to the end of time and pushes her in there.

After this, we see a decaying body of He Who Remains which seems to have been there for a very long time giving us an estimate of how much time has passed. Since time moves differently in this place, maybe a significant amount of time has passed. Miss Minutes appears again and tells Renslayer that she knows a secret about her saying, “I can tell you, but it’s going to make you really angry.”

Now the question for us is, what does Miss Minutes know about Renslayer? As per my predictions, Miss Minutes can reveal two things to her. First, Miss Minutes can tell Renslayer that she is actually a variant who has been plucked from her timeline and Mobius and Loki were right all along. Second, she can tell Renslayer that she played an important part in creating the TVA along with He Who Remains and they both were quite close but He Who Remains wiped her memory about it altogether.

Well, the above-given predictions are purely based on my instinct and the flow of Loki season 2. To find out if what I said stands true or not, we will have to wait for Loki Season 2 Episode 4!

After staying in the pre-order phase, the Google Pixel 8 devices finally started shipping to customers a few days ago. It’s also officially available on Google’s official store. And if you haven’t upgraded your phone for a while, the devices are a great purchase. However, some of the users are reporting a weird problem with their newly purchased devices.

According to user reports, some of the Google Pixel 8 phones are arriving with the bootloader unlocked. The issue isn’t widespread, but it does affect both the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro. And this is not a good thing.

Why Google Pixel 8 Phones with Unlocked Bootloader Is a Bad Thing?

In general, you would need to unlock the bootloader of a device to flash a custom ROM on it. Additionally, rooting Android devices requires an unlocked bootloader. Basically, by unlocking the bootloader, you can make advanced customizations on the phone. But it does have a severe drawback.

An Android phone with bootloader unlocked is a device without bootloader security. This opens the door for attackers to easily compromise the system, access personal files, and possibly install malicious software without you realizing it. There are other consequences too. For example, financial apps won’t work on a bootloader-unlocked phone. And the Google Pixel 8 owners that are reporting the problem are facing the same exact thing. They can’t use contactless payment or run banking apps.

That said, it is possible to lock the bootloader again with ADB commands. But, again, it requires some advanced knowledge. The good news is that Google is replacing the affected Pixel 8 devices with this issue. And if you notice that your phone is unlocked after it ships to you, you should do the same. Google has yet to respond regarding the issue, and we will get you updated once it does.

Instagram is planning to add a new feature for the comments section, which can help people gain more engagement on their content. The ability to create polls in comments is now being tested and should be available for all soon. Have a look at the details below.

Instagram’s Adam Mosseri, via his Broadcast Channel, has revealed that Instagram is testing polls in comments with a small number of users. This will be applicable to comments on posts and Reels.

The ability to create polls in comments can help people, especially creators, interact better with their followers and gain their perspective on the kind of content they want to see. All in all, this can be helpful in garnering more traction from people.

A screenshot shared by Mosseri shows that people will be able to view the vote count on the given options to see which one has won. Although, we don’t know for how long polls in comments will exist. Proper details should be out once the feature rolls out for all and this should happen soon.

Instagram already has the option to create polls in Stories via a dedicated sticker, which is also a way of making Stories more interactive and fun. It seems like the Meta-owned social media platform is aiming to revamp the comments section on the platform for the same purpose. The iOS 17.1 has been in the beta stage for almost a month now. With the beta program coming to an end, the update will officially arrive on compatible iPhones next week.

With the iOS 17.1 update, Apple will be introducing a handful of new features. Alongside that, the software update will bring a good number of bug fixes and will improve the performance of the devices.

When Will iOS 17.1 Release

Apple is yet to confirm the release date of the iOS 17.1. However, French regulators have revealed the launch date of the update. It’s due for October 24, which is next week. You might wonder why French regulators are involved when Apple is planning a software update.

For those unaware, the iOS 17.1 will address the concerns from the French regulators over the iPhone 12. As we’ve covered before, the French regulators found that the iPhone 12 no longer passes the regulators’ exposure testing limits.

In response, Apple has issued the iOS 17.1 for the iPhone 12. It comes with changes to how the phone handles off-body states. But the update isn’t just for iPhone 12. All devices from iPhone XR onwards will receive the update.

New Features of iOS 17.1

As mentioned earlier, iOS 17.1 will bring a host of new features. Here’s a brief description of them:

New AirDrop Features

The update will bring a new AirDrop feature for iPhones. This feature will enable you to continue the transfer even when you step out of the range of the other device you’re transferring to. Essentially, the AirDrop on iOS 17.1 will use the internet for this feature.

Apple introduced this AirDrop feature back in WWDC in June of this year. But it didn’t make an official debut with the iOS 17 released last month. You will also find a new toggle in the Settings app. It will allow you to use cellular data to complete the out-of-range AirDrop transfers. This will come in handy if your phone is not connected to WiFi.

Apple Music Upgrades

iOS 17.1 makes a handful number of changes to Apple Music. Among them, there’s the new “favorite” feature that allows you to select playlists, albums, and songs as favorites. You will also find new filter options in the Music streaming app that will let you easily display all your favorites in the library.

On the note of the library, Apple has added a library of artwork. You can use these to customize your curated playlists. These new options will be available when you tap on the three-dot menu that appears in the playlist’s upper-right corner.

Besides, there’s a new “Song suggestions” area on Apple Music in iOS 17.1. Apple will intelligently present this new area to “match the vibe of your playlist.”

StandBy Mode Changes on iOS 17.1

With iOS 17.1, Apple has added some new options to the StandBy mode. For those wondering, StandBy mode is the feature that converts your iPhone into a full-fledged smart display when it’s charging and set in a landscape orientation. After the update, you will find a new “Display” option inside the StandBy menu.

Tapping on this Display option will bring you new toggles. These will let you select when you want the screen to turn off. The options are automatically, after 20 seconds, and never.

The StandBy mode in the initial iOS 17 release didn’t come with this granular control feature. And here, the “never” option means that you can make sure that the StandBy widgets are always present while your phone is in the mode.

That said, these changes to the StandBy mode are only available to the newer devices that come with always-on-display. That includes the iPhone 14 Pro, 14 Pro Max, 15 Pro, and 15 Pro Max.

Apple Wallet Features on iOS 17.1

iOS 17.1 adds a new Connected Cards feature for iPhone users in the United Kingdom. These features bring the current account balance of the users from the bank. It will also show the history of payments and deposits. Open Banking API powers this feature, and it’s supported by HSBC, Barclays, RBS, Monzo, Lloyds, and Starling.

In the US, there’s no alternative available to the Open Banking API. However, Apple has directly teamed up with Discover to show the user’s card balance and history in Apple Wallet of iOS 17.1.

Lock Screen Photo Shuffle Features

With iOS 17.1, Apple has addressed the long-running complaint regarding the Photo Shuffle option on the iPhone Lock Screen. This feature first debuted with iOS 16, and allows the iPhone to shuffle through the images in the photo library and randomly select one for wallpaper.

The first implementation allowed iPhone users to shuffle through images of Nature, pets, and People. However, it didn’t offer options to fine-tune the shuffle. But with iOS 17.1, Apple has added a new option to let you choose a specific album for the shuffle feature.

Changes to the Action Button and Flashlight Indicator on Dynamic Island

The iOS 17.1 brings optimizations to the new Action button found in the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Pro Max. It makes the proximity sensor detect when your phone is in the pocket, which avoids accidental activations.

Lastly, the iOS 17 brought the flashlight indicator feature on iPhone 15 Pro models. But with the new update, the feature will be available to the iPhone 14 Pro models.

Apple has brought a good number of bug fixes with iOS 17.1. Among them, there are fixes regarding the Screen Time Settings, privacy settings, incoming calling alerts, custom ringtones, and the on-screen keyboard.
