Cammy White made her debut video game appearance in Super Street Fighter 2: The New Challengers when it was released into the arcades back on September 10, 1993 and September 11, 1993 in Japan and North America respectively. The game wouldn’t be released on consoles over a year later until June 25, 1994 and July 18, 1994.
Of course it should be mentioned that Cammy wasn’t the only newcomer that appeared in Super Street Fighter 2: The New Challengers as she was joined by T. Hawk, Dee Jay, and Fei Long. However, it would appear that Cammy was the most popular out of these four as she’s the only one to appear as part of the base games for all of Street Fighter 4, Street Fighter 5, and Street Fighter 6.
Though Cammy began as a low tier character competitively throughout Street Fighter 2’s lifespan, she’s traditionally been a top tier fighter in most of her appearances in the mainline Street Fighter series. This is likely due to her impressive speed, mobility, frame data, and damage output.
As it turns out, Cammy might have her attire to thank for that. It’s said that Cammy chooses to wear a green thong leotard due to the optimal speed, mobility, and flexibility that it allows. Of course, it should be noted that Cammy has mostly retained her speedy attributes in Street Fighter 6 despite having a complete wardrobe change in that game.
Regardless, Cammy’s iconic Delta Red appearance tends to be her most popular among spectators. It’s really no wonder why Cammy tends to be a favorite among cosplayers bold enough to portray her.
We recently took notice of Nataliafadeev’s Cammy cosplay. Evidently, she’s portraying Cammy as she specifically appears in Street Fighter 5.
Unlike the Street Fighter 2 and Street Fighter 4 versions of Cammy, there is no camouflage paint that can be found on Cammy’s legs in Street Fighter 5. Of course, it should be noted that the camouflage paint also appears on Cammy’s legs in her alternate costume in Street Fighter 6.
Additionally, Cammy has multiple gun holsters wrapped around her leotard and right thigh in Street Fighter 5. Despite Cammy’s experience as a special agent of Delta Red, she’s always seen fighting hand-to-hand rather than using firearms, so the holsters are purely just aesthetic.
Check out Nataliafadeev’s Cammy cosplay below:
It would also appear that Nataliafadeev has cosplayed as Zero Suit Samus in her skintight jumpsuit. However, Nataliafadeev has retained Power Suit Samus’ arm cannon in this version of the costume.
Though this version of Zero Suit Samus doesn’t appear to have her Paralyzer with her, she does have the Jet Boots with her. Notably, these Jet Boots were designed for Zero Suit Samus specifically for the Super Smash Bros. series.
When Zero Suit Samus first made her playable video game debut on February 9, 2004 in North America, she was relegated to playing stealthily as she was too weak to defeat most enemies without access to her Power Suit. Funnily enough, however, Zero Suit Samus has traditionally been a stronger character than Power Suit Samus throughout entries of the Super Smash Bros. series in which both fighters appear in.

Just a few days ago, OnePlus announced its partnership with BOE for the displays of the upcoming flagships. For those who missed our coverage, OnePlus announced that it would be showcasing “a new dawn” for Chinese screens on October 24. Today is October 24, and the brand has kept its promise. It shared display details of the OnePlus 12 and OnePlus Ace 3.
The OnePlus 12 and OnePlus Ace 3 displays will be from BOE. These new displays are in the X-series. The screens of these devices will offer 2K and 1.5K resolution, respectively.
More Details About the Displays of OnePlus 12 and OnePlus Ace 3
OnePlus confirmed that the display of the OnePlus 12 will be a BOE X1 display. It sports a 2K resolution, which should offer crisp and well-detailed visuals. More importantly, it’s the first-ever Chinese 2K display that received a Display Mate A+ rating. With this, BOE broke 18 world records.
Gizchina News of the week
Previously, OnePlus announced that it would be introducing the world’s brightest screen, featuring over 3000 NITS of brightness. The 2K display of the OnePlus 12 is likely what the brand was talking about. This high brightness rating means that you can easily view the images and texts on the screen even in the most challenging lighting conditions.
Besides, the screen of the OnePlus 12 will offer better eye protection and boast an extended screen life. The screen of the OnePlus ACE 3, on the other hand, features a 1.5K resolution. OnePlus didn’t give much detail regarding this display, but it could be a slightly tuned-down version of BOE X1.
That said, as the official images showcased, both the OnePluse 12 and Ace 3 will feature a punch-hole design and have curved edges. And like previous Ace models, the display of the Ace 3 could make its way to the other upcoming devices of the lineup. That includes the OnePlus Ace 3V and Ace 3 Pro. We will keep you posted when OnePlus shares more information.
Selecting a flagship smartphone can be relatively straightforward, as you can expect exceptional performance regardless of your choice. However, these premium devices are often not within everyone’s financial reach and may not always be essential. Occasionally, an affordable phone can adequately meet your requirements without compromising on quality.
Therefore, if you’re in search of a budget-friendly handset, this article will provide you with a set of recommendations for picking an excellent mobile phone that aligns with your needs while costing about $200 or less. Naturally, we will explore noteworthy offerings from various manufacturers.
Things to consider when choosing a cheap phone
When considering the purchase of an affordable smartphone, there are several key factors to keep in mind. Personally, I emphasize three factors, but delving deeper, there are some minimum requirements that I consider essential when selecting a phone. While individual preferences may vary, I regard these as crucial:
Internal Storage and MicroSD Card Compatibility: Although you can still find devices with 32 or 64 GB of storage in the entry-level category, the industry is gradually moving towards higher storage capacities. It’s advisable to seek a phone with a minimum of 128 GB of internal storage. Additionally, having the option to expand storage with a MicroSD card is essential for flexibility.
At Least 4 GB of RAM: While some budget phones may still come equipped with 2 or 3 GB of RAM, it’s preferable to opt for a device with at least 4 GB of RAM. This ensures smoother performance, especially when multitasking or running multiple apps simultaneously.
USB-C and Rapid Charging: USB-C is becoming the standard for device connections in Europe, and it offers faster data transfer and charging speeds compared to the older MicroUSB. It’s essential to choose a phone with USB-C for convenience. Additionally, if fast charging matters to you, look for a device with a charger that provides at least 25 W, although it might be unnecessary if you usually charge your phone overnight.
Android Go or Lightweight OS: Many affordable phones come with less powerful processors. To ensure optimal performance, it’s advisable to select a device running Android Go or a lightweight version of the operating system. This will help maintain smooth performance without unnecessary bloatware or features that may slow down the device.
Main Camera with Good Resolution: More cameras don’t necessarily translate to better photography. Many budget phones include secondary cameras with low resolutions and subpar quality. Instead of focusing on the number of cameras, prioritize the resolution and quality of the main camera. A higher-resolution main sensor is often more beneficial for capturing quality photos.
These considerations should assist you in making an informed decision when choosing an affordable smartphone that meets your needs while avoiding unnecessary compromises.
Recommended Cheap Mobiles
Here is a list of affordable mobile phones that we recommend, arranged from the lowest to the highest price:
Redmi A2
Released earlier this year, the Redmi A2 is the most budget-friendly offering from Xiaomi. Notably, it deviates from the brand’s standard by running Android without the MIUI overlay.
What sets it apart is its software, featuring Android Go without bloatware. This means it has a lightweight user interface and essential Google apps like Google Maps Go and YouTube Go. While these apps have fewer features than their standard counterparts, they provide the necessary functions and perform well.
In terms of performance, it’s modest and may not meet the minimum specifications mentioned earlier (with 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of storage). However, if you’re seeking an affordable phone, it’s a viable choice.
Noteworthy features include a 3.5 mm headphone jack with FM Radio support, a 5,000 mAh battery, and an LCD screen with HD+ resolution. Among the budget mobiles listed, it’s the least recommended option, but it’s a solid choice if you’re looking for the most cost-effective smartphone.
POCO M5
Xiaomi continues to impress with its affordable offerings, and the POCO M5 is a prime example. While the POCO M5s may outshine it in certain aspects, I can personally vouch for the completeness of this standard model. Its Helio G95 chipset, although somewhat dated, remains one of the best choices for phones in this price range. With 4 and 6GB RAM options, it delivers strong performance, even handling demanding tasks without overheating – a common issue in phones with synthetic leather materials like the POCO M5.
The device sports a 6.58-inch LCD panel with a 90 Hz refresh rate, offering a good display. It’s comfortable to hold, and its 50-megapixel main camera performs well. However, the standout feature is its impressive battery life, lasting up to two days, even with heavy use. On the flip side, it takes nearly two hours to fully charge.
Samsung Galaxy A14 5G
Priced at $150, the Galaxy A14 stands out as one of the most affordable options for recent Samsung phones. Notably, it’s among the budget-friendly 5G smartphones available in the market, a noteworthy consideration given that many alternatives remain restricted to 4G.
In terms of design, it draws inspiration from the high-end Galaxy S23, although with some clear distinctions. It features plastic materials with a textured back and noticeable bezels on the front. However, this aesthetic choice aligns with prevailing trends within its price range.
This mobile phone supports a maximum configuration of 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage, which delivers strong performance for the average user seeking affordability. Notable features include a 50-megapixel camera and a 5,000 mAh battery. The only drawback is its limited fast charging capability, capped at 15 W.
The device sports a 6.6-inch LCD panel that doesn’t boast outstanding specs, but it does offer impressive color calibration. Coupled with a quality speaker, it provides a satisfying audio experience for users.
Redmi Note 12 4G
Gizchina News of the week
Priced at about $160, the Redmi Note 12 4G is now an incredibly appealing option, especially when just a few months ago, it was considered quite expensive at $230. Today, it’s a mid-range smartphone available at a budget-friendly cost.
Under the hood, you’ll find a Snapdragon 695 processor, which continues to impress in terms of performance. You can choose between 4 to 8 GB of RAM and storage options of up to 128 GB internally, expandable up to a whopping 1 TB via a MicroSD card.
Among its features, the Redmi Note 12 4G shines with the best display in this selection. It boasts an AMOLED panel, measuring 6.67 inches diagonally, offering a refresh rate of 120 Hz and a FullHD+ resolution. This display is akin to what you’d find in its pricier counterparts, providing an excellent multimedia viewing experience.
While its camera system may not be groundbreaking, it does include a capable 50-megapixel sensor, which more than suffices for its price range. Additionally, it supports 33W fast charging, complementing its sizeable 5,000mAh battery, ensuring prolonged usage without frequent recharging.
Motorola Moto G23
The Motorola Moto G23, priced at about $170, was initially marketed at over £200 but has since seen a significant price reduction in recent months. This reduction makes it an excellent value proposition and one of the standout choices in the budget smartphone category, delivering a blend of design and specifications.
Starting with its design, despite the use of polycarbonate, it exudes a premium feel and is comfortable to hold. The device features a 6.5-inch screen with FullHD+ resolution and a 90 Hz refresh rate, providing fluid animations and an impressive viewing experience. The color calibration is excellent, and when paired with Dolby Atmos sound, it offers one of the best multimedia consumption experiences.
However, it’s worth noting that the outdoor brightness is a weak point, peaking at just 400 nits. The processor, a Helio G85, offers adequate performance for typical tasks like GPS navigation, social media, messaging, web browsing, and more, but it might not handle heavy usage demands.
The primary camera, while exhibiting some color processing limitations, delivers overall good photo quality that can be refined through editing. The device strikes a balance with its 5,000 mAh battery capacity and support for 30W fast charging, ensuring extended usage with swift recharging capabilities.
OPPO A57s
The OPPO A57s, available from $180, represents a compelling choice within OPPO’s lineup of affordable smartphones. While it doesn’t boast cutting-edge performance or camera capabilities, it maintains its distinctive design and offers reasonable hardware.
In terms of performance, it features a Helio G35 processor paired with 4GB of RAM, which, while not as powerful as some of its counterparts, should still provide a satisfactory user experience for everyday tasks.
One standout feature is its display, boasting a 6.56-inch LCD panel with FullHD+ resolution and 600 nits of brightness on paper. While it’s not the brightest display around, it does surpass the average in the low-end smartphone category.
The device is also equipped with a 5,000 mAh battery, and it supports 33W fast charging. Additionally, it comes with a 50-megapixel primary camera. Although it’s important to note that the number of megapixels alone doesn’t determine a camera’s quality, this lens should deliver good-quality images for various scenarios.
Realme C55
Realme C55 Colors
The Realme C55, available starting at $200, represents one of the latest budget-friendly offerings from Realme, and it distinguishes itself with its ample internal storage, fast charging capabilities, and a robust 64-megapixel main camera sensor.
This device boasts a generous 256 GB of internal storage, which should more than suffice for most users. Additionally, it supports 33W fast charging, which is quite impressive for an entry-level smartphone. The 64-megapixel main camera sensor promises good photography capabilities.
Under the hood, it houses a MediaTek Helio G88 chipset, which, while not designed for demanding tasks, performs admirably in everyday activities such as checking emails, using social media, and watching videos.
The smartphone features a 6.72-inch display with a 90 Hz refresh rate and FullHD+ resolution. This combination provides a large, fluid panel with excellent image quality for watching TV shows and movies.
As for its software, it runs on Realme UI 4.0, the manufacturer’s custom user interface. Despite the occasional minor animation hiccup, it maintains a fluid performance and offers a range of customization options. It’s worth noting that while it’s not Android Go, it’s a streamlined and user-friendly experience.
OPPO A58
The OPPO A58 4G, starting at $240, stands out as one of the slightly pricier options in our recommendations. But it offers a combination of good looks and affordability. The device leans towards a mid-range design aesthetic, despite its plastic build and noticeable bezels on the front.
Powered by the Helio G85, the same processor mentioned earlier, the OPPO A58 4G benefits from a generous 6 GB of RAM, providing improved performance and reducing the likelihood of slowdown during multitasking. It also offers 128 GB of internal storage, which can be expanded using a MicroSD card.
The smartphone features a 5,000 mAh battery and supports 33W fast charging, putting it in a favorable position compared to its competitors. It’s equipped with a 50-megapixel main camera sensor. And while it won’t perform miracles, it does deliver more than acceptable results for a device in this price range.
The weakest aspect of the device is its display, although it’s not a major drawback. It sports a 6.72-inch LCD panel with a 60 Hz refresh rate, but it does offer FullHD+ quality, making it suitable for watching high-quality content, which is a critical function for daily video consumption.
Tekken 8’s closed beta test has officially come to a close, which means we’re all going to be waiting another three months to play the game again (unless we get another test period soon).
Once the action wrapped up, longtime Tekken competitor Fergus hopped back online to share his totally accurate and legit tier list for the beta.
These rankings aren’t meant to be taken very seriously at all for a multitude of reasons, but it is still interesting to see some thoughts put together for how the early game may be shaping up.
Those of us who got to jump into the action would probably agree that characters like Jun, Feng and Jin are looking pretty strong out the gate though I’d bump up Azucena and Jack-8 too.
Leroy and Asuka ended up at the bottom, but Bryan may be the biggest loser considering he’s not on the list because Fergus said he wasn’t an option when building it.
You can check out this not so serious day -90 tier list for Tekken 8 below and let us know in the comments how much you agree / disagree with these picks.

Mediatek is set to make waves in the world of mobile processors with the imminent launch of its latest innovation, the Dimensity 9300. This powerful system-on-a-chip (SoC) has surfaced on AnTuTu’s database, posting record-breaking numbers that have left tech enthusiasts buzzing with excitement. The Dimensity 9300 managed to achieve an astonishing score of over 2 million on the popular benchmark platform, shattering previous records and setting a new industry standard.
Mediatek’s Dimensity 9300 Surpasses Qualcomm’s Snapdragon in Performance
So, one of the most intriguing features of the Dimensity 9300 is its unique octa-core CPU configuration. This processor consists of four Cortex-X4 units and four Cortex-A720 cores, arranged in a 1+3+4 cluster combination. Notably absent are the “small” Cortex-A520 units that are common in some other processors.
Gizchina News of the week
Also, the benchmark test showcased the Dimensity 9300’s exceptional capabilities. But there are still some mysteries surrounding the device used for this performance evaluation. The model number provides no discernible clues, leading to speculation that it may be a specialized testing prototype. What we do know is that it was equipped with a generous 16 GB of RAM and a capacious 512 GB of storage, running on the latest Android 14 operating system.
What truly sets the Dimensity 9300 apart is its outstanding performance. This is the first time a mobile device has ever breached the 2,000,000 threshold on AnTuTu. Solidifying its status as a benchmark champion. In a head-to-head comparison with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, the Dimensity 9300 reigns supreme, outperforming in every aspect. Its CPU boasts a remarkable 65% improvement, the GPU exhibits a 55% boost. And the combination of LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 storage achieves a remarkable 33% increase in speed. Furthermore, the user experience (UX) scores over 50% higher, underscoring the Dimensity 9300’s overall superiority.
While these benchmark numbers are indeed impressive, it’s essential to remember that real-world performance may not exhibit such a dramatic difference unless paired with efficient cooling solutions. Mediatek is yet to announce the official release date of the Dimensity 9300 and which smartphones will be the first to feature this game-changing SoC. Mobile tech enthusiasts eagerly await the arrival of this groundbreaking chip. It promises to redefine the future of mobile performance and user experiences.
Yesterday, Xiaomi announced the launch date of the Xiaomi 14 series. If you missed it, the devices will land on October 26. Earlier, Xiaomi announced that its partnership with Leica would continue with the new series.
Now, Xiaomi is showcasing the camera capabilities of the Xiaomi 14 devices. The brand has confirmed that they will boast the Leica VARIO-SUMMILUX camera lens. It is a step up from the Leica VARIO-SUMMICRON found in the Xiaomi 13 series.
More About the Xiaomi 14 Leica Powered Camera Setup
Xiaomi has given the most details of the camera setup that the Xiaomi 14 will feature. As mentioned, the back will sport a Leica VARIO-SUMMILUX 1:1.6-2/14-75 ASPH camera configuration. Let’s simplify the abbreviation to understand what this setup will bring to the table.
Gizchina News of the week
So, ASPH means that the Xiaomi 14 will come with an aspherical lens. This will make the camera setup capable of capturing photos and videos from a wide aperture ranging from f/1.6 to f/2.2. This aperture range will come into play in distances from 14 mm to 75 mm. And the devices will deliver Leica DLSR-level quality.
For those wondering, it is one of the premium Summilux lenses from Leica. And the Xiaomi 14 series will be the first flagship lineup to feature this setup from Leica. In general, you only see such camera configurations on DLSR cameras. Their pricing is usually above the USD$2000 range.
Besides, the Xiaomi 14 will feature a three-sensor camera configuration on the back. There’s an ultra-wide angle lens. It can offer a 0.6x view. Also, the camera setup has a telephoto sensor. It’s capable of offering 3.2x optical zoom. These two will accompany the main sensor.
Things are looking great for the Xiaomi 14 series. And it will be interesting to see the photo samples. As with other launches, Xiaomi will share the samples on October 26. So, we don’t need to do too much waiting.

Limitations of AI Generated Wallpaper
Limitations of AI generated wallpapers
Gizchina News of the week
Generative AI is getting a lot of attention these days, and Google is embracing it with Android 14. But Google could have gone a bit further with AI wallpapers. AI wallpapers are cool, but the problem is that they’re pretty limited, and you can only use Google’s own prompts and attributes.
Google is already doing text-to-image generation with Search. Users can just type what they want to see into the search box. I wish we had the same freedom with wallpapers. It would be great to create Retro Wave-inspired wallpapers or let Google get really creative. Unfortunately, Google’s current limitations make for beautiful images, but they tend to be pretty ordinary.
In addition to more creative freedom, it would be fantastic to share these creations with others. When I create a great wallpaper, having a share button would be perfect. This way, I would be able to send my best results to others, and they can do the same. Currently, we’re stuck with taking screenshots, cropping, or sharing the text attributes we’ve selected. It can be tricky for others to try replicate the results. In any case, it’s a good starting point. We expect further improvements in the future.
Fighting game betas are always a special time for the community, but the fun’s gotta come to an end at some point.
And now that the grind and exploration has concluded for the Tekken 8 closed beta test, we’d like to ask the community how their experience went.
For that purpose, we’ve put together a handful of polls to pick your brains on what you guys did and did not like from your time online for the upcoming title.
The netcode is probably going to be a bigger point of contention since we’ve seen a good number of complaints, but personally, I only ran into one match I’d consider laggy against a Wi-Fi user with 5 frames of delay and brought the game to a halt.
There’s also things to be said about the Heat system as well as your general thoughts on how the game is shaping up heading towards its January 2024 release.
Vote now in our latest polls below with your Tekken 8 beta experiences, and don’t forget to use the official survey links in your emails to tell Bandai Namco what you thought about the game too.
Vivo might be busy with the flagship segment and the upcoming flagships under its Vivo X100 series, but this won’t stop the brand from filling the mid-range market with new contenders. Today, Vivo introduces the anticipated Vivo Y200. It’s a decent low-end smartphone that will bring some heat to this competitive segment. Through this article, we will talk about the phone’s main features, specs, and pricing.
Introducing the Vivo Y200
The Vivo Y200 has officially launched in India and is a direct successor for the Vivo Y100 which arrived back in February. It’s a decent upgrade over its predecessor featuring a gorgeous 6.67-inch AMOLED screen with FHD+ resolution and a 120 Hz refresh rate. The display is 16.94 cm tall and has a centered punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera. Interestingly, this phone has an in-display fingerprint scanner. This is a rarity among mid-range devices.
Gizchina News of the week
The front-facing camera is a 16 MP shooter which should be enough for good selfies and video calls. At the back, you’ll find a rectangular camera cutout housing two camera holes. The main camera is a 64 MP snapper with OIS, and it is coupled by a 2 MP depth sensor.
The Vivo Y200 also boasts the Smart Aura Light which features 38-level color temperature adjustment based on your ambient lighting.
Powering the phone is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 chipset. This is a decent octa-core chipset with max clock speed of 2.0 GHz and Adreno GPU. With this processor users can enjoy social media and play casual games without issues. Some heavy games may also work with moderate graphic settings. The phone is paired with 8 GB of RAM and sells in options with 128 GB or 256 GB of Storage.
The Vivo Y200 draws its powers from a 4,800 mAh battery with 44W fast-charging speed. The software side is covered with the Funtouch 13 skin based on Android 13, but the device is also eligible for the upcoming Android 14 update.
Pricing and Availability
Currently, the Vivo Y200 is available in India in the Desert Gold and Jungle Green Colors. The device sells at INR 21,999 ($264) in its 8GB/128GB trim while the 8GB/256GB option costs INR 23,999 ($289). The phone is on open sale from the official vivo online show as well as from Amazon India.
