Capcom continues to release more back to back to back hits than basically any time in their history, but not every new game they put out can smash all the previous records across the board.
In its most recent quarterly earning report, Capcom pretty much admitted that Street Fighter 6 just doesn’t have the selling power that their other biggest franchises like Resident Evil and Monster Hunter have, but that’s okay.
Their Q&A portion of the financial presentation poses the question as to how Capcom currently evaluates SF6’s performance since launch as well as how they plan to grow its sales in the future.
“The game has received critical acclaim and surpassed 2.47 million units in sales globally by introducing fresh features and modes that appeal to a broader range of users, such as new Modern Type control inputs,” reads Capcom’s official response.
“However, given the relative size of the versus fighting game market, it is unlikely that the title will immediately achieve results on par with those of titles in the Monster Hunter or Resident Evil series. We look to continue expanding sales for this title over the long term, promoting it in our esports activities in order to grow the fighting game fanbase.”
This was also the same report where Capcom stated they still have a major game releasing soon that they haven’t announced yet.
Being on the inside with the fighting game community, this isn’t exactly a massive revelation that Street Fighter isn’t Capcom’s biggest dog on the block anymore like it was in the early ’90s.
It is quite interesting, though, to see Capcom fully admit that to their investors and the public that SF6 is not going to jump out and do RE or MonHun numbers.
The pessimistic way to look at this would be that the new Street Fighter did not end up setting the world on fire despite the rave reviews and initial hype from competitive and casual players alike.
If you were to flip that perspective around a bit, however, it feels like Capcom knows what they have with Street Fighter 6 and what it can be.
They aren’t putting ridiculous sales target goals on the game like they would have less than a decade ago and aren’t immediately labeling it a failure when it didn’t meet those unrealistic expectations.
Capcom spent basically seven years building up Street Fighter 5 from a fairly disastrous launch in 2016 to their 10th best-selling single release ever with 7.3 million copies sold.
Sure, that’s still behind basically every recent Resident Evil and Monster Hunter game (or technically the combined sales of Street Fighter 2 or 4), but not everything needs that to be a success.
Street Fighter 6 is already outpacing SF6 in terms of sales when it reached 2 million in a month when the last game struggled to hit 1.4 million in its initial three months.
Sales seem to have slowed down notably since the launch window considering its only sold around an additional 470,000 more units since July, but it did remain on the best selling games ranked by the NPD Group in the United States until August.
Capcom’s response is telling that they aren’t viewing SF6 as underperforming or a failure.
Instead, this is a game they’re going to be into for the long haul, and that’s going to be more of an extended “slow” burn to be supported for probably / hopefully the next five years or beyond.
Capcom’s president did previously state he hopes to see SF6 reach 10 million units in its lifetime, and it’s already a quarter of the way there after like five months.
If they continue to support the game through its eSports initiatives for the competitive side and new content that can be appealing enough to the more casual base, 10 million seems like a very realistic number for the game to eventually achieve.
That’s not to say they have no room to improve either, especially with how Capcom has been monetizing SF6 so far with a focus on expensive custom avatar costumes instead of the core gameplay / roster.
We’re still sitting here with just 2 DLC characters, no new costumes, no new stages and no real major updates to note, which is moving at a slower pace than SF5’s initial content.
Most of these complaints and shortcomings will hopefully be addressed and alleviated with time through continued support and development.
Season one is only about halfway done, so there’s still more on the horizon that we know about and probably a whole lot more than we don’t.
Street Fighter 6 does not need to sell 19 million copies like Monster Hunter: World for Capcom to make a profit and be happy with the game, and hopefully the company continues to see it that way.
Now that we’ve had Street Fighter 6 in our hands for about five months, lab monsters are starting to find more of the intricate bits of tech and combos to utilize in battle. We have now gone beyond standard character specific combo videos and are seeing harder and more elaborate set ups hit social media more consistently, and things are getting interesting.
Pushing that envelope probably farther than the average player will ever take it, Desk has created a new Street Fighter 6 video that puts a focus on “rare” combos. Essentially, these are highly intricate sequences that require very specific parameters to start and excellent execution to finish.
A common set up we see from these kinds of Desk videos uses a lingering fireball to hit the point character and interrupt a move to create a link or a connection that wouldn’t otherwise be possible.
Desk has mastered this technique, and using a fireball from someone like Dhalsim that bounces off of the ground and comes back toward Ken to interrupt a Dragon Punch allows the combo maker to land an impressive six Shoryukens in the same combo — and that’s not even counting the two DPs Ken does when he juggles with his level 3 super. In order to properly do this, Dhalsim’s OD fireball has to hit very specifically and at the perfect timing to ensure that Ken remains grounded during the interruption so that he can perform another Dragon Punch and keep the combo going.
The same fireball set up is used for Dee Jay as well here, and with it Desk can start with a level 1 super, perform a second one within the same combo (which gets interrupted), then go on to close out the whole thing with yet another level 1 super.
Mixing things up a bit, Desk includes a Guile combo that starts with a Sonic Blade-powered light Sonic Boom that slowly traverses the screen as Guile follows in behind it. The training dummy Marisa jumps forward and gets anti-aired by a Drive Rushing Guile, and canceling out of that attack with another Drive Rush lets Guile run underneath a juggled Marisa, jump back over her as she bounces on the fireball, then juggle even more with his level 2 super.
There are some really cool combos to be seen here, including one that allows A.K.I. to combo after her level 2 super. Be sure to check out Desk’s full showcase below.
During the grand finals of a Mortal Kombat 1 event, R1p’s Arena had to make a decision about what appeared to be a new Sindel reset combo. To be perfectly clear, the previous Sindel infinite involving Kameo Sub-Zero in the corner was actually patched out with the latest update. This was an entirely new sequence that involved Sindel that apparently first popped up during this tournament.
With any launch combo, Sindel has the ability to restand the opponent using her scream special, leaving the opponent still open to continue the combo. Following this, she can then end a combo using the “Karthweel” special. Finally, Jax is called at a specific time so that the player can begin a new combo while airborne.
At a glance, this reset combo seems similar to the one that can be performed by Scorpion when paired with Jax. However, there’s apparently a key difference with this other setup that makes it particularly problematic.
As it turns out, most setups involving Jax’s unblockable Ground Pound can be escaped by holding down upon hit. Rather than being launched, this will make it so that the Ground Pound will splat the player character, preventing a reset combo.
Oddly, this escape doesn’t work specifically when the opponent has been hit by Sindel’s Kartwheel special. Without meter to perform a combo breaker, Sindel can effectively delete 80% of a life bar with a truly inescapable sequence.
For better or worse, R1p’s Arena ultimately made the decision to ban this sequence for the rest of the grand finals. Not everyone agreed with the decision, but others did. As such, R1p’s Arena is seeking feedback from the community regarding this situation.
As pointed out by R1p’s Arena, this sequence with Sindel is likely unintentional. The previous patch removed the Sindel’s inescapable reset while paired with Sub-Zero, so this sequence will likely also be patched out with NetherRealm Studios now likely aware of it.
Furthermore, East Coast Throwdown 2023 actually made the decision to ban the previous Sindel unblockable setup, as well as banning the usage of Shujinko as a Kameo when specifically against General Shao prior to the latest patch. Indeed, this latest setup falls in line with those exploits, which would mean that it would also probably be banned had this setup been discovered before.
I’d like to get some community feedback. Today I was put in a situation where I had to decide if this is allowed or if we ban this during our 5k Grandfinals. Since this doesnt seem intended i made the decision to ban this midstream & the community was 50/50 about it. pic.twitter.com/OWPK9OV5gy
good point. we took a 30 min break and labbed it & reached out to @X_AZEEZ3 & @mg6 to reconfirm if its somehow avoidable. This is literally my biggest fear as a TO, that i have to make a decision like that. To me it just doesn’t look intentional.
A.K.I. is the newest combatant to join Street Fighter 6’s roster. Unfortunately, early impressions from many of the pros painted her as being one of the weakest characters in Street Fighter 6. “Doesn’t matter who plays A.K.I. or how you play A.K.I., she’s undoubtedly in the bottom tier,” said BST|Daigo late last month.
However, Diaphone was one of the players that held onto hope that A.K.I. still had some potential as a “respectable mid tier.” In Diaphone’s latest video, he admits that he has since flipped on this idea and is now saying that A.K.I. is “trash.”
“I tried to gaslight myself into thinking that A.K.I. had potential to be a mid tier character. I lied,” said Diaphone at the beginning of the video. “After playing this character for over a month, I finally see the light. She’s trash.
Indeed, a Tweet back from early October has Diaphone vocalizing his then belief that A.K.I. was a respectable mid tier. In his video, Diaphone claims that A.K.I. is potentially the weakest character in the entire game.
Throughout the video, Diaphone highlights a bunch of problems for A.K.I. such as her bad neutral, non-cancellable normals, weakness to jumps, a predictable fireball, and more.
Check it all out below:
I think I’m the only person that actually believes AKI is a respectable mid tier https://t.co/YJ9n71tVYY

The only thing I got right off the bat was investments because of my passable knowledge in the field, and well, the words were easy to spot.
I was a bit annoyed with a music category once again, but the mention of Vinyl and Wax saved me there. So, the green category was simple enough to guess as well. But, I had my most brutal battle with Blue and Purple categories because I kept getting ‘One away.’ I finally lost all my chances and had to surrender. It was then I got the last two categories and the answer for NYT Connections for November 6th. I sure hope this guide helps you avoid just that and get you that sweet success.

There’s so many talented fighting game artists all around the world, and it’s always a joy to find someone new we haven’t put the spotlight on before.
South Korea’s King Duck is one such fun artist who likes to focus their work on the ladies of mostly The King of Fighters and Street Fighter with a specialty for giving them new outfits to try on (and sometimes each other’s).
Out of all the lovely women in our genre, King Duck understandably seems to enjoy Shermie the most and has done a lot of fun stuff with her in recent times.
They’ve swapped her costume with Manon and Chun-Li for the crossover appeal plus made her a horse-riding sherrif though that’s still just scratching the surface of what they’ve done with the grappler.
On top of the Shermie love, King Duck has also dressed up Chizuru and Elisabeth in sexy bunny outfits, swapped Mai and Angel’s iconic attire and brought in the maid service, which is pretty reminiscent of the cursed Yamazaki mod we recently saw in KOF15.
You can check out a small collection of King Duck’s recent fighting game works in the gallery below, and there’s plenty more of Shermie and the other ladies to be found on their Twitter page.
Apple has recently announced the release of its first spatial computer, the Apple Vision Pro. The device is a revolutionary spatial computer that seamlessly blends digital content with the physical world. Apple CEO, Tim Cook said that Apple Vision Pro will only be sold in “our stores.” Cook made these remarks during Apple’s fourth-quarter earnings call yesterday.
When an investment banking consulting firm asked whether the Vision Pro would be released like the Apple Watch or AirPods, Cook replied: “I Would say, No. Vision Pro is a first-of-its-kind product. So, we’re intentionally launching it only in our stores so that we can really put a lot of focus on the last mile of it. We’ll be in stores Offering demos, it’s going to be a very different process than a normal grab-and-go process.”
Apple Vision Pro will be sold “only in our stores”
Apple CEO Tim Cook has announced that the Apple Vision Pro will be sold “only in our stores”. According to Apple expert Mark Gurman over at Bloomberg, the company will have a special section of its stores for seating space. This space is for one or more people to try on the headset. The company also has a special team of staff to help customers with their purchases. Apple will require store appointments to buy the Vision Pro Headset.
This statement from Tim Cook can mean a couple of things. It could mean that the Vision Pro will only be available at Apple’s physical stores. It could also mean that this device won’t be available at third-party stores like Best Buy. Whether users will be able to buy this device online from the Apple official store remains to be seen.
At the moment, the official website page of Apple Vision Pro currently shows “sold in the United States early next year”. However, before now, the status was “available on Apple.com and Apple retail stores in the United States early next year.” It appears that Apple is changing its mind about selling this device online. It probably wants to focus on offline/physical sales given the complexity of this device.
Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman reported in June that Apple plans to let people try out the Vision Pro and find the headband that best suits their head shape at Apple retail stores. Apple is even considering requiring an appointment to purchase, as it did with the original Apple Watch in 2015.
The Vision Pro is the “most complex” device Apple has ever designed. Also, Sony can reportedly produce less than half a million microOLED displays per year. Cook recently confirmed that the headset is still planned to be released in “early 2024.”
Gizchina News of the week
Features of Apple Vision Pro
The Apple Vision Pro has an astonishing amount of technology in a compact design. A singular piece of 3D glass is polished to create an optical surface. This surface acts as a lens for the wide array of cameras and sensors needed to blend the physical world with digital content. The glass flows into the custom aluminum alloy frame that gently curves around the user’s face.
The device brings a new dimension to powerful, personal computing by changing the way users interact with their favorite apps. Users can also capture and relive memories, enjoy stunning TV shows and movies, and connect with others on FaceTime. The device has an all-new App Store where users can discover apps and content from developers. It can access hundreds of thousands of familiar iPhone and iPad apps that run great. The device also automatically works with the new input system for Vision Pro. Also, the modular system allows for a tailored fit to accommodate a wide range of people.
Apple Vision Pro: A Niche Product?
Some people believe that the Apple Vision Pro will never be more than a niche product. The cost to build the headset is $1500. In line with Apple’s pricing of everything else, they have doubled that and added a bit more to the retail price. However, Apple named their product with the prediction that a cheaper non-pro Vision would follow. Competitors will come into the market, and we will eventually settle for a Vision with all the features of today’s Vision Pro but costing $1000-$1500. This has been the lifecycle of every successful Apple product.
Availability and Pricing
Apple Vision Pro starts at $3,499 (U.S.) and will be available early next year at Apple Store locations in the U.S. While we are sure of its availability on Apple physical store, there is no certainty for online sales. The company said that this device will be sold in more regions later next year. Customers will be able to learn about, experience, and personalize their fit for Vision.
Conclusion
The Apple Vision Pro is a revolutionary spatial computer that seamlessly blends digital content with the physical world. The device brings a new dimension to powerful, personal computing by changing the way users interact with their favorite apps, capture and relive memories, enjoy stunning TV shows and movies, and connect with others on FaceTime. The device has an all-new App Store where users can discover apps and content from developers, and access hundreds of thousands of familiar iPhone and iPad apps that run great and automatically work with the new input system for Vision Pro. It will be sold “only in our stores” and will be available early next year on apple.com and at Apple Store locations in the U.S., with more countries coming later next year.
Back in September 1993, Super Street Fighter 2: The New Challengers hit the arcades. The “new challengers” introduced in that game were Cammy, T. Hawk, Dee Jay, and Fei Long.
Throughout multiple iterations of Street Fighter 2 since then, Cammy was often regarded as the weakest overall fighter. However, it could be argued that she was also the most popular of the new challengers as she’s the only one that appeared all throughout Street Fighter 4, Street Fighter 5, and Street Fighter 6.
Back in Super Street Fighter 2: The New Challengers, Cammy was described as being a 19-year-old female special forces agent working for Delta Red. There was an air of mystery surrounding Cammy as it was also said that she had a past tied to M. Bison.
Of course, we wouldn’t actually get answers regarding this connection until Street Fighter Alpha 3. Though Cammy technically appeared as a hidden character in Street Fighter Alpha 2 Gold before Street Fighter Alpha 3, her entire story during that game isn’t considered to be canon in terms of Street Fighter lore.
As it turned out, Cammy was originally created as a clone of M. Bison. She was intended to become M. Bison’s replacement body once M. Bison’s form deteriorated due to the effects of overusing Psycho Power.
Until that appointed time, Cammy acted as an assassin for Shadaloo under the alias of “Killer Bee.” Fortunately for Cammy, she ended up breaking free of this fate before joining up with Delta Red in an effort to oppose Shadaloo.
A very notable thing regarding Cammy is her fascination with wearing a thong leotard during battle. It’s said that her preference for thong leotards is due to the optimal flexibility, mobility, and speed that they provide.
This seems to be reflected in Cammy’s gameplay throughout the Street Fighter series as she typically has excellent attributes that emphasize speed, mobility, and frame data. While she started out as a weak character throughout multiple iterations of Street Fighter 2, Cammy is often seen a high tier or top tier in the later iterations of the Street Fighter series.
In addition to her thong leotard, Cammy is also generally known to wear a red beret, red socks, black boots, and red gauntlets. She can also have either green camouflaged paint plastered on her legs, gun straps wrapped around one of her thighs and leotard, or a combination of both.
Needless to say, there are a number of reasons why Cammy has the fanbase that she does. Indeed, she’s also become a popular target among cosplayers bold enough to portray her.
We recently took notice of Luciascenes’ Cammy cosplay. Check it out below:
Whenever I’m posed with the question, what is your all-time favorite anime? No matter what, Attack on Titan will always find a spot on my top-rated anime list. Inarguably, it is one of the greatest anime of all time and will be forever remembered by the fandom that way. This is the highest reputation one’s work can get, and the recent Attack on Titan finale only further solidified that statement for me. So, how did you like the Attack on Titan ending?
Attack on Titan’s ending was first revealed in manga Chapter 139 back in 2021, and well, it created quite a stir among the fans. From then on, fans were waiting for the anime’s finale to see if anything had changed. Now that the series has concluded, I’ve analyzed the ending of Attack on Titan and even compared it with the manga to see if there were any changes. So, keep reading as we explain and learn all about the enigmatic ending of AOT in this post.
Heavy Spoilers Warning: This article contains major spoilers for the ending of the Attack on Titan series. We highly suggest you read the manga (up to chapter 139) or watch the anime completely to avoid ruining your intended experience.
How Does Attack on Titan End?

We have broken down the ending of Attack on Titan into multiple sections so that you can understand each moment completely. They are as follows:
Mikasa’s Destiny
Earlier, with the aid of his kin Levi and friend Armin, Mikasa stormed inside the founding titan in the climactic chapter of AOT. Before this, the centipede/ worm (source of all living matter) turned the remaining humans alive into titans. Thus, it was chaos everywhere and Mikasa began to see a dream-like moment with Eren.
She knew what she had to do and delivered on it by successfully decapitating Eren’s head. And in that heartbreaking moment, she gave him the first and last kiss of her life. This moment was instantly followed by a lengthy conversation between Eren and Armin, which finally shed light on the impending mysteries in Attack on Titan.
Eren’s Conversation with Armin
The final moments of this grandeur saga are nothing short of epicness. It started with Eren having a deep and important conversation with his best friend, Armin Arlelt, in what they call the ‘Path’. He discussed the recent events of his actions, rumbling, and everything with him.
Furthermore, Eren will then apologize to him about their last meeting. This makes us remember an important line mentioned by Armin, “Those who can’t abandon anything, can’t change anything”. This turns out to be true as Eren chooses to abandon his comrades in an attempt to change the future of the people he loves. Although his actions aren’t the righteous way to achieve true freedom he yearns for, it’s the necessary sacrifice he had to make to secure a safe future. A small price to pay for salvation, isn’t it?
Eren also highlights why he decided to go with the idea of Rumbling. He added that more than 80% of the world’s population has been eliminated mercilessly. Thus, the rest of the world couldn’t take revenge against or continue discriminating against Paradis for a long time to come.
Eren then mentioned how Armin, Mikasa, and others will be revered as heroes for saving humanity from the brink of extinction as he made himself a villain for that very reason. This is very similar to how the Tybur family was considered after the Great Titan war. It also reminded me of another great anime’s ending, “Code Geass” in that moment.
Furthermore, Eren gave away an important piece of information about Ymir Fritz. Ymir remained obsequious to King Fritz for ages even after death as she was in love with him. We don’t know whether this was a case of Stockholm syndrome or she did love him as even Eren was puzzled at first and later confirmed she continued to serve and obey him for the sole reason of loving him.
The most horrific part of this conversation is when Eren reveals that he ordered Dina Fritz in titan form to devour his birth mother, Carla Yeager. It’s because he knew that this was the main triggering event in his life that started everything and how the history played out.
Next up, he started to have a breakdown and expressed his true feelings for Mikasa. This confession to Armin led to us seeing his true self behind the devil facade he has been portraying himself as all the time. Eren admitted that he wants to live with Mikasa and his friends and not die sooner. But then, he also knew that wouldn’t happen anyway. The power of seeing the future and past simultaneously took a heavy toll on Eren’s mind.
Later, he even revealed to Armin that he didn’t know why he did all this, but he knew deep down he had to. On seeing this, Armin decided to remark that they share the burden of this outcome and it’s not something Eren alone brought up in this world.
He then let Armin know that he would erase the memories of this conversation temporarily and that he would remember this conversation later for sure. In his last moments, Eren made sure that he would go to extreme lengths to save humanity, especially for his friends.
Did Eren Die in the End of Attack on Titan?

Eren’s death at the hands of Mikasa was a destiny that can’t be changed. It was revealed by Eren in his conversation with Armin. All these days everyone believed that Eren would be the one to free Ymir. But he revealed that Ymir Fritz had been waiting for ages for someone to come and free her from the shackles of love and that person wasn’t him. It was later confirmed that the person was Mikasa.
We were left to wonder why it was Mikasa, the same as Eren, but there is no information about why Ymir chose Mikasa herself. All events in history took place the way they were supposed to so that Mikasa could finally free Ymir.
As you can see from this conversation, Eren’s death was bound to happen and he knew it himself. The act of cutting off Eren’s head directly led to Ymir getting her freedom, which further resulted in Titan powers vanishing from this realm. All the people who had the titan powers shifted to titans, and people who turned into Titans were restored to their human form as the link between Ymir, Eren, and the worm (the source of all living matter) was severed.
Even Mikasa has a final conversation with Ymir to mark its importance and bid goodbye. Then Mikasa, Armin, and everyone else mourned their friend’s death and wanted to give him a proper burial. So yeah, Eren indeed died in the arms of his lover, and what a tragic yet poetic death it was!
Outcome of the Battle of Heaven and Earth
Image Courtesy: Attack on Titan by MAPPA Studios (Twitter)
After the end of the rumbling and everything, Mikasa and Eren’s friends took his remains and buried him in his favorite place. It’s a special place under a tree where Eren used to nap as a kid. Three years have passed since the climactic war, which was known as the “Battle of Heaven and Earth,” and the survivors of this war (namely Reiner, Jean, Conney, Pieck, etc.) were announced as ambassadors.
Their primary goal was to initiate peace negotiations between Paradis and the other nations. While this was going on, Historia confirmed the remaining group of Yeagerists joined hands to begin another military organization. This was formed to ensure the safety of the people of Paradis and defend themselves once again from the greater danger posed by the outside world.
Years passed by and Mikasa continued to visit Eren’s grave. She weepingly remarked how she missed him and wanted to see him once again. During this time, a beautiful moment took place when a bird flew by and interrupted her crying to fix the scarf that was about to slip off Mikasa’s neck.
If you are an ardent fan like me, you remember exactly how Eren wrapped the scarf around Mikasa when he gave it to her. Well, the same happened in the final moments of the story and even Mikasa acknowledged this sign by thanking Eren once more for doing this. That Bird is considered to be the reborn version of Eren as it was spotted near Armin as well before this incident.
The ideal world (a world without titans) Eren dreamt of for his friends and the people of Paradis was secured for now. Along with Mikasa, it was emotionally overwhelming for us to bid goodbye to our favorite character Eren! And so Itterasshai, Eren!
The New Beginning After the End
Image Courtesy: Attack on Titan by Hajime Isayama (Fandom)
Up until now, this ending looks like the peaceful and bittersweet ending we hoped for (except for Eren’s saddening fate). But things took a sudden change when Hajime Isayama decided to extend the final chapter. This showcased to us the future of Paradis Island, the happening around the world, and the final moments of Mikasa.
Mikasa continued to visit Eren’s grave every year with her newly formed family. And even in her old age, this tradition continued. A specific panel was shown which confirmed the death of Mikasa in her old age as she was buried with Eren’s scarf. Several years passed by, and the civilization of Paradis Island rapidly developed into that of a futuristic world.
The tree beneath which Eren’s remains were buried grew larger and larger as all of these events transpired. Unexpectedly after a long time, war broke out once again in Paradis, and Shiganshina became bombarded into a barren wasteland. One would say, well, this was bound to happen to the land of Titans and this was the realistic outcome one could have expected.
This reminds me of the quote from Netflix’s Dark series, “The cycle must repeat, just as always it has.” As long as there is a hunger for power, fame, and glory between humans, wars will continue to exist. The repetition of the war cycle brings the most humane touch to the story by Isayama.
The war resulted in a forest taking over the lands once again and engulfing the tree where Eren was buried. In this apocalyptic world, a young child and his dog discover the tree. This tree bears a resemblance to the one Ymir Fritz discovered and walked into all those years ago! Additionally, the child and the dog are seen going inside the tree. This means Isayama heavily hinted at history repeating itself once again with the possibility of the discovery of the Titan powers and the discrimination, wars, and battle cries, which is about to follow just like how we witnessed before.
Is AOT Anime Ending Different from the Manga?
Image Courtesy: Attack on Titan by MAPPA Studios (Twitter)
After the manga’s conclusion, debates were raised about whether the anime needed to have a different ending than the original manga due to the dissatisfaction of the fandom. Even before this final episode was released, it was stated that Isayama assisted the staff with a change in the AOT ending. However, this all doesn’t matter anymore, as the anime’s ending stayed true to the Attack on Titan manga’s ending to the tee.
Many misunderstood Isayama’s words when he mentioned he had redrawn the last scene’s draft. A few extra dialogues or scenes may have been added to further justify the ending and make the finale more emotional for the fandom. Therefore, it is now confirmed that the Attack on Titan anime’s ending is the same as the manga.
The only little change we observed is that in the manga the civilization of paradise advanced to that of a modern world we live in whereas in the anime it showcased a more advanced and futuristic civilization. Also, the child and the dog are seen going inside the tree whereas in the manga they just discovered and wondered about it. Anyway, these are just minor creative changes.
Beebom’s Take on the Ending of Attack on Titan
Image Courtesy: Attack on Titan by MAPPA Studios (Twitter)
We read the manga’s ending as soon as it was out two years ago, and we liked how author Iseyama approached Eren’s final moments. And now, after watching the finale of the anime, we were shocked and overwhelmed to see Iseyama’s genius, he had managed to create such an enigmatic story filled with mindblowing twists, unreal emotions, unpredictable drama with extraordinary battle scenes, and more
After checking out the extended version of the finale, this is a befitting conclusion to this magnum opus story which continued to spellbind us for 10+ years and in the end provided a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
As mentioned earlier, this is the more realistic approach to the ending and gives a humane touch to the story. Although we know this isn’t the perfect ending, we can’t think of a better ending than this albeit we know this gave mixed feelings to some fans.
The ending landed in a way that many felt it to be disappointing and an equal amount of people found it to be the fitting ending to an epic saga. Nevertheless, that won’t be able to tarnish the GOAT status of the series as it was a perfect example of a perfect anime/manga. At the end of the day, opinions and experiences are subjective and boil down to one’s preference and perspective. We hope we were able to assist you in understanding the true ending of the Attack of Titan series in a better way.
The finale deeply moved us and let fans grieve for the comrades we have lost throughout the story (Sasha ). However, at the same time, the hint of history repeating itself was something we didn’t expect to see. It’s not the Titans or any other creature that disrupts global peace, it’s always the humans who are hungry for more power and absolute control over the world, turning this good place into a battleground to show off their superiority and stroke their ego. That’s subtly portrayed in Iseyama’s manga.
Everything aside, we all enjoyed this epic conclusion to this legendary story and bid our goodbyes to unforgettable favorite characters from this series. And for one last time, Shinzo wo Sasageyo! What do you think about this ending? Let us know in the comments below.

OCR, as the name suggests, enables the extraction of text from images captured by your smartphone’s camera. This function was previously available in Google Lens, but with its integration into Gboard, the entire process becomes more efficient and convenient.
This exciting feature was initially spotted in version 13.06.04 of the beta build of Gboard for Android. While it’s not available to all beta testers just yet, those who receive it will discover a dedicated button for text scanning. To utilize this feature, users will need to grant camera access permission to Gboard.
Once enabled, the camera app will highlight the recognized text within the image. Users can then select the desired phrases or words and effortlessly transpose them into Gboard’s text input field. This streamlined process greatly simplifies the extraction and sharing of text from images, offering a more effective and efficient solution.
Notably, the text selection can be performed repeatedly, allowing users to send multiple portions of the same text consecutively. This enhances productivity and multitasking, making it easier to collect and disseminate text from images.
The new text scanning feature is available alongside options like translation and proofreading. It’s a valuable addition to Gboard that caters to the needs of Android users, facilitating a more seamless and integrated mobile experience. With Gboard’s OCR capability, handling text within images has never been easier.
