  • Google rolls out November update for Pixel devices: fix reboot loop

    Each major Android update from Google often comes with initial issues, and the recent launch of Android 14 in the past month was no exception. Many users with multiple accounts on their Android devices encountered problems, such as the dreaded “out of space” error or, more frustratingly, getting stuck in a reboot loop after installing the update.

    Today, there’s good news for Pixel users, as Google is rolling out the November Android update for supported devices. The most significant relief is that the bug responsible for the previous issues has got a fix. This issue impacted a wide range of devices. Including the Pixel 6, Pixel 6a, Pixel 6 Pro, Pixel 7, Pixel 7 Pro, Pixel 7a, Pixel Tablet, Pixel Fold, Pixel 8, and Pixel 8 Pro.

    In addition to addressing the major bug, the update also tackles several other issues. One of these problems caused a green flash when the display turned off in specific situations. Mainly on the Pixel 7 Pro. Another issue affected NFC stability. While a different issue caused system instability when an app requested another app that was no longer installed. Users also reported instances of desktop icons disappearing when unlocking their devices. As well as misaligned wallpapers for devices with notches or hole-punches. The Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro had their share of issues too. Experiencing screen jerkiness when touch registration became imprecise.

    Google has shared that the update rollout will occur over the course of a week, with availability dependent on your carrier and device. Users can expect the new build numbers UP1A.231105.001 for the Pixel 4a 5G, Pixel 5, and Pixel 5a 5G, UD1A.231105.004 for the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro, and UP1A.231105.003 for all other supported devices. This update brings much-needed relief to users and ensures a smoother Android experience for Pixel device owners.

  • Haus_Play takes on deadly poses while cosplaying as Cammy from the Street Fighter series

    Since Cammy White is such a fan favorite from the Street Fighter series, it should come as no surprise that those that are bold enough to cosplay as the character seem to get a lot of attention. As such, we recently stumbled upon Haus_Play’s Instagram page in which she’s posted pictures of herself posing as Cammy.






    Signs of Cammy’s popularity are clear in that she’s often been a returning veteran of the series since her video game debut back in 1993 with the release of Super Street Fighter 2: The New Challengers at the arcades. Unlike Dee Jay, T. Hawk, and Fei Long, Cammy was the only one among the new challengers that was playable all throughout Street Fighter 4, Street Fighter 5, and Street Fighter 6 consecutively.









    Haus_Play’s take on Cammy is particularly interesting. It appears to most resemble her classic costume in Street Fighter 6, which isn’t her default this time around.


    In her classic costume, Cammy is seen wearing a green thong leotard with the Delta Red logo plastered on it, a red beret, black boots, and red gauntlets. Both her gun holster and camouflage paint are also visible on her legs.


    What’s interesting about this version of Cammy is that it’s effectively an amalgamation of how Cammy appeared in Street Fighter 4 and Street Fighter 5. There are specific details that have typically only been present on one version of the appearance or the other.


    During Street Fighter 4 (as well as Street Fighter 2), Cammy had camouflaged paint smeared on her legs. However, this camouflaged paint wasn’t present on her legs in Street Fighter 5 as she instead had her leotard and right thigh wrapped in straps.


    Street Fighter 6’s alternate costume for Cammy essentially combines these elements of Street Fighter 4 and Street Fighter 5. Although it appears that Cammy is holstering a gun in this costume, it’s purely aesthetic and doesn’t actually get used during gameplay.


    In most of Haus_Play’s shots of her Cammy, she’s also wearing some fishnet stockings. As such, this is technically a unique version of Cammy as we haven’t really seen her in fishnet stockings before in the games.


    Regardless, Haus_Play is able to show off just how serious she is about being Cammy by taking on some deadly poses. The camera managed to capture Haus_Play’s Cammy from numerous angles.


    However, don’t be fooled about Cammy’s petite nature as she used to be an assassin that worked for Shadaloo. Back then, she was known as “Killer Bee.”

    Just because I said yesterday’s Connections puzzle was easy doesn’t give NYT the right to obliterate me today completely. There’s a special kind of sadness when you can only guess one out of four categories. However, to ensure you don’t fall befall the same cursed fate as me, we discuss what the answer to November 8th’s NYT Connections is, along with category names to help you out. So, without further delay, let’s jump in.

    If you want to learn about what today’s categories are based on but only through subtle hints, check these out first.

    I’m sure you grow tired of reading this, but today was not a good day to play NYT Connections. I started strong, as I usually do by guessing one of the categories, which was the Yellow category. I mean, who can’t make the association between sunscreen and towels, right?

    However, past that, my troubles began in full force. For the life of me, I could not get rid of the blue category. I abandoned trying to relate those words and moved on to green but failed yet again. I did have an inkling of Bloody Mary somehow being involved, but I didn’t have a clear idea.

    After wading around in confusion for about 20 minutes, my chances ran out, and I had November 8th’s NYT Connections answer revealed to me, making me dizzy like the Vodka shots on a Saturday night. Today’s puzzle was incessantly difficult, or perhaps I wasn’t operating at 100%.

  • Game breaking ‘Fireball Meter Glitch’ discovered in Street Fighter 6 that allows characters to postpone Burnout indefinitely

    A game breaking glitch has been discovered in Street Fighter 6, which has seemingly been referred to as the “Fireball Meter Glitch.” Essentially, this glitch allows a character to use a the last bit of their Drive Gauge for any action that costs Drive Gauge, and then avoid going into Burnout.






    As it turns out, this glitch has already proven to be simple to replicate for JP, Dhalsim, Blanka, A.K.I., and Guile. There’s no doubt that this is a game breaking glitch that Capcom will most certainly need to address in a future update.









    To pull off the sequence, a player simple needs to spend Drive Gauge at roughly the same frame as hitting with an attack. For now, there are only setups to perform this with projectiles.


    For example, if JP uses Overdrive Departure (places a “void tear” on screen) exactly as his fireball connects with the opponent, then he’ll retain just enough Drive Gauge to prevent going into Burnout. Alternatively, JP could instead use his Overdrive fireball as Departure strikes at the opponent to do the same thing.


    However, this isn’t just limited to Overdrive specials. It turns out that it’s also possible to perform a Drive Rush as a projectile connects with the opponent as well.


    A sequence with Guile is demonstrated by HDG|Pochoclo23. Right as the Sonic Boom connects against the opponent, Guile times his Drive Rush at the exact same time to essentially secure free pressure.


    For this to work, a character has to have less Drive Gauge than the cost of what they intend to do. The timing of connecting an attack and the spending of Drive Gauge is the important part.


    Under normal circumstances, a character will go into Burnout upon attempting to spend more Drive Gauge than what they actually have. The action will still occur as intended, but they’ll spend the remainder of their meter.


    Each attack that connects with the opponent (except for those that spend Drive Gauge) is supposed to build a little bit of Drive Gauge. This is intended to reward players for playing offensively in Street Fighter 6.


    When this glitch is made to happen, a character ends up setting their amount of Drive Gauge to “zero,” then builds just a little bit even though they’re supposed to technically be “negative” in terms of how much Drive Gauge that they have remaining.


    Upon doing this, a character will refrain from going into Burnout and still have access to all of their actions that spend Drive Gauge. Assuming a player is able to recreate this situation continuously, they can effectively use an infinite amount of Drive Gauge without ever going into Burnout.

    WhatsApp Communities new feature update

    Earlier this year, WhatsApp made the native macOS app available for open beta testing to expand its reach to more devices. This also included the introduction of the active Windows app. After the beta testing phase, it’s now time for WhatsApp for macOS to reach all as it’s now available. Check out the details below.

    WhatsApp for macOS Now Available

    WhatsApp has made the announcement via the X (formerly, Twitter) post. The WhatsApp app for macOS is now available to download via the App Store. This is a global launch for all users, so, if you want to natively use WhatsApp on your Mac device, you can now.

    This comes after the dedicated WhatsApp for macOS app went into beta testing last year. The new app’s version is based on Mac Catalyst unlike the previous version, which was based on Electron. This is said to improve the overall usage experience as compared to the desktop client.

    The app calls for a smooth experience and comes with features like audio and video calls, the ability to drag and drop files, and actions like archived chats, starred messages, and more. You will have to download the app and scan the QR code to link your WhatsApp account on an Android or iOS device to the Mac.

    The new WhatsApp for macOS app will dismiss the need for dedicately opening WhatsApp for the web and scanning the QR code each time to access the chats. It will also show notifications and messages even when offline. So, there won’t be a need for you to keep the phone around.

  • Wiko Hi Enjoy 60s 5G Launches with HarmonyOS

    Wiko, a French smartphone company, has launched a brand-new device. Called the Wiko Hi Enjoy 60s, the smartphone is unlike some of the other devices the brand has launched.

    While the past releases were very similar to some of the specific Huawei phones, the Wiko Hi Enjoy 60s has some unique features. But like the Huawei devices, the new phone does come with HarmonyOS.

    Main Highlights of the Wiko Hi Enjoy 60s 5G

    Some of the Hi Enjoy 60s specs match with the Huawei Enjoy 60. For example, the new device from Wiko has the same 6.75-inch LCD screen on the front. It features a waterdrop notch that houses an 8MP selfie shooter. The new Wiko device also features a similar design to the Huawei Enjoy 60.

    When it comes to the battery performance, the Hi Enjoy 60s has a 6000mAH cell. It features 22.5-watt SuperCharge charging. The Huawei Enjoy 60 has the same battery config.

    But unlike the device from Huawei, the Wiko Hi Enjoy 60s has a Dimensity 700. This brings 5G connectivity to the smartphone. That’s something that the Huawei Enjoy 60 didn’t feature.

    Moving on, the back of the Wiko Hi Enjoy 60s features a dual-camera setup. The primary snapper is a 13MP sensor, while the secondary is a 2MP depth sensor. To compare, the Huawei Enjoy 60 had a 48MP primary camera with a 2MP depth sensor.

    However, as the Hi Enjoy 60s is a part of the Harmony ecosystem, it enjoys some of the exclusive features of Huawei phones. That includes effortless pairing with any Huawei device via the AI Life app. Other features of the smartphone include dual SA/NSA connectivity, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, and a 3.5mm audio port.

    The Hi Enjoy 60s is available in three different colors: Blue, White, and Black. Although Wiko didn’t reveal the RAM information, the official site does list the phone in two storage variants: 128GB and 256GB.   • Super releases his post-patch Mortal Kombat 1 tier list before Omni-Man’s addition shifts the meta

    Super is known to be one of the biggest Mortal Kombat content creators on YouTube. Though he’s not a professional competitor that competes at tournaments, he plays so much Mortal Kombat that he’s able to play at a high level.






    He doesn’t normally create tier lists, but Super recently decided to create a post-patch tier list for Mortal Kombat 1 after October’s adjustments. All 23 characters in Mortal Kombat 1 have been arranged into the S, A, B, C, D, and F tier categories, though it should be noted that none of the fighters were positioned in F tier of Super’s list.









    The strongest characters in the game according to Super are Johnny Cage, Kenshi, and Rain. These three combatants reside in the S tier group that sits about the eight fighters in A tier.


    Baraka has joined Reptile and Shang Tsung in the C tier category. As Super has pointed out, Baraka has had a significant fall from grace due to the nerfs of the most recent update.


    However, Nitara and Sub-Zero are said to be the weakest overall characters in Mortal Kombat 1. Sub-Zero was already in a pretty bad spot before, but the October patch ended up breaking his Enhanced Ice Klone special so that it doesn’t even have a basic function anymore.

  • vivo Y27s Debuts with 5000mAh Battery, 50MP Primary Camera, and More

    vivo has launched a brand-new device, the vivo Y27s. It will be joining the Y-series smartphones, which are generally mid-range devices that aim to offer high overall value.

    Just like some of the other recent Y-series devices, the vivo Y27s come with great mid-range specs. And while the device looks pretty similar to the Y27 5G, it has some key differences.
