Omni-Man has just seen his early access release today in Mortal Kombat 1. The Invincible series villain is now available for select players, and those who have the ability to play him are already diving right in to see what he has to offer in the world of Mortal Kombat.
It’s natural for developers to slip other improvements and changes into their game when a DLC character is first launched, and it seems NetherRealm Studios has done quite a bit of that this time. One of the most interesting and easy to spot changes to the game can be found on the character select screen, which has been updated to feature a quick look at all of the DLC fighters scheduled to be added to the game in the Kombat Pack.
Those who boot up Mortal Kombat 1 today will be greeted with an update that comes in at around 12 GB. Naturally, this patch is meant to bring Omni-Man into the game, but surprisingly, NetherRealm Studios has also added a big update to the game’s character select screen too.
When you hop in to select your main fighter, you’ll see Omni-Man on the far right in the top row sitting beside Geras. From the looks of it, four of the upcoming DLC characters have been added to the right-hand side of the screen, while the other two had their slots placed on the far left.
To the right of Omni-Man we find Peacemaker’s portrait, and below them are Quan-Chi and Homelander as well. The two remaining characters, Ermac and Takeda, populate the left side of the screen.
With this new arrangement, there are now three sections of characters that seem to balance out nicely. The left section and the right section both have 10 character slots each, while the middle section has 9 character slots and the random select slot making up 30 in total (29 main roster characters).
In addition to the main roster fighters, the first DLC Kameo Fighter is also visible on the character select screen now. Tremor can be seen, but not selected, though the remaining DLC Kameos are still silhouettes at this time.
Mortal Kombat 1’s first batch of DLC Kameo Fighters consists of Tremor (who is set for launch on November 20), Mavado, Janet Cage, Ferra, and Khameleon.
Though we can see the portraits of the upcoming main roster DLC characters on the fighter select screen now, unfortunately, we are unable to hover over them and see their in-game models. Still, this little glimpse at what’s to come is definitely cool and worth checking out.

Did Jogo Kill Nanami in JJK?

The 15th episode of the second season kick-started with a fight between the reincarnated Toji Fushiguro and Dagon. Toji acted as a savior and rescued his son Megumi, Nanami, Maki, and Naobito Zenin who were in a severely disadvantageous situation. Toji then took Megumi alone to confront him. This is when Jogo, one of the special grade cursed spirits, made a sudden appearance and looked at the remains of Dagon who had just been ruthlessly killed by Toji.
Before the sorcerers could process who just appeared, within that split second, Jogo went near Nanami first and incinerated him. Keep in mind, that Nanami was already already extremely injured during his battle with Dagon. When Maki realizes what’s happening here, she is next in line to be incinerated by Jogo.
Now, the only remaining sorcerer is Naobito Zenin. He tries to utilize his Projection Sorcery technique to take down Jogo, but the curse who is ultimately ahead of him in terms of power levels catches him like a rat using his technique. And as same as the fates of Maki and Nanami, Naobito was also roasted to death, as shown in the anime.
So, of course, Jogo did burn the already weakened Nanami. But did Jogo kill Nanami with his attack? Is Nanami Dead or Alive Right Now?
So if you are here, you must truly want to know the outcome of Jogo’s attack on Nanami, isn’t it? More than that, you want to know whether Nanami sensei survived that fatal blow or not. I know that feeling because it was the same for me when I was reading the manga.
The real truth is that Nanami survived that incineration attack even after being in a weakened state. You can see this man’s endurance levels are just off the chart! Additionally, Maki survives the attack but at the cost of half of her face getting burnt, just like Nanami. The only one who didn’t make it out alive is Naobita Zenin. It is now confirmed that he was killed by Jogo.

The events described above will take place in Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 in the next few episodes. So, to answer your question, Nanami is still alive for now, and he is in bad shape.

But, Will Nanami Eventually Die?
By now, you must have understood Nanami is just one step away from marching toward heaven at this point. The half-burned face of his reminds me of Harvey Dent (Two-Face) from Batman, but he is alive.
Fast forward to manga chapter 120, Nanami can be seen passing through the Shibuya station in an ailing state. At this stage, it looked like Nanami had given up his life as he continued to search for Megumi and was worried about his comrades. Now, call it fate or luck, Nanami happened to be at the wrong place at the wrong time as Mahito noticed this debilitated sorcerer. Nanami had escaped one life-threatening blow only to find a horde of transfigured humans as his next challenge.

Even at the brink of death, Nanami obliterated every enemy in his way. However, that didn’t last long as death came knocking on his door and Mahito soon confronted him again. This time, Mahito did not hold back, as taking out Nanami would be a huge victory for their team. So, during the climactic final stage, between 11:14 PM to 11:36 PM at the Shibuya Station, after having a pep talk with Mahito, he knew it was the end for him. That’s why Nanami mentioned to Yuji (who just arrived at the scene) that he had got it from here.
As Mahito came in close contact with Nanami’s torso, he instantly used Idle Transfiguration and contorted his body, blowing it into pieces and resulting in his death. So, this is how the events lead to the ultimate demise of Nanami Kento in Jujutsu Kaisen. Nana-min’s death was something unexpected and was followed by Nobara’s death, which made this arc a depressing experience for manga readers.

NetherRealm Studios and Warner Bros. Games are introducing the first DLC character into the world of Mortal Kombat 1 today. As expected, Invincible’s Omni-Man is the first additional fighter to join the roster and he will be available to play via early access later today.
With that said, Mortal Kombat 1’s servers are currently down for maintenance to prepare for the implementation of the Omni-Man update. The official Mortal Kombat X (formerly Twitter) account has provided a couple of updates that you’ll want to be aware of if you’re hoping to play as Omni-Man as soon as possible.
“As the realms prepare for the arrival of the Viltrumites, #MK1 will enter maintenance mode at 6am PT/8am CT on November 9,”
wrote the social media account. “We will announce when our maintenance begins and ends right here.”
At this time, the servers are down and maintenance is underway. As of right now, we do not know how long the maintenance period will run for, but the Mortal Kombat X account notes that there will be updates on their page as they happen.
“Maintenance has begun on #MK1 in preparation for Omni-Man’s takeover,” continued the Twitter page. “Stay tuned right here so you know when we’re back online.”

Omni-Man will be available today by way of early access for those who purchased the Premium Edition of Mortal Kombat 1 or the Kombat Pack. He will see his widespread release on November 16.

Eight-Handled Sword Divergent Sila Divine General Mahoraga, also referred to as just Mahoraga, is one of the ten shikigamis of the Ten Shadows Technique used by the members of the Zenin family. It is regarded as the strongest shinigami of all and the most uncontrollable as well. If you are wondering why it is so, this is because no Ten Shadows Technique user has been successful in taming it throughout the history of the Zenin clan.

How Does Megumi Summon Mahoraga

If you remember, the Ten Shadows technique user (in this case, Megumi) has to construct a shadow puppet (like we did as kids) to summon the Shikigami. But in Mahoraga’s case, the user has to clench their fists, raise their hands, and say aloud an incantation to summon this gigantic figure. A Ten Shadows technique user has to utter the following words:
“With this treasure, I summon Eight-Handled Sword Divergent Sila Divine General Mahoraga”
In Japanese, it goes like this: “布ふ瑠る部べ由ゆ良ら由ゆ良ら 八握剣異戒神将魔虚羅” (Furube Yurayura Yatsuka-no-Tsurugi Ikaishinshō Makora).
Note: The Ten Shadows technique’s rule is that you first need to tame the Shikigami. Only after taming it can you summon the respective Shikigami. However, there is a hole in this rule that the user can exploit which is to summon it before taming it. But that will result in an unfavorable situation. Nonetheless, the users of the Ten Shadows Technique can call it at any time to expel it by performing an exorcism ceremony. That’s the case when Megumi summoned Mahoraga without taming it beforehand.
Mahoraga’s Powers and Abilities

Along with its incredible physique, Mahoraga has some serious powers and abilities. That’s what makes it the most powerful Shikigami to exist. They are as follows:
Superior Physique: As mentioned earlier, Mahoraga has a more advanced physique capable of overthrowing anyone with physical attacks. For example – Mahoraga sent Sukuna in the air with a single punch and that also resulted in Sukuna flying through multiple buildings. That is exactly how this physique benefits the monster.
Sword of Extermination: Along with its incredible physique, Mahoraga possesses a sword attached to its right hand. It’s called the Sword of Extermination, which is wrapped with positive energy around it. This sword wielded by Mahoraga can help greatly in battle.

Adaptation: The most significant ability in Mahoraga’s arsenal is the Adaptation technique. This allows the Shikigami to adapt to any situation it is facing. In offense, if it fails to break any defense at first, it can adapt to it later. In defense, if it’s hurt by a specific attack, the wheel on its top will rotate, enabling it to adapt to it. Therefore, if an enemy tries to use that specific attack against him, Maharoga can easily counter it now.

In the latest development in the filmmaking industry, the SAG-AFTRA strike is finally coming to an end with its negotiators approving a tentative agreement. The union stated on Wednesday that the strike which has been going on for 118 days now, will end at 12:01 AM on Thursday. In a historical move, the union’s negotiating committee approved the deal in a completely unanimous vote and now the agreement will be passed on to the SAG-AFTRA national board for approval on Friday.
Details of the Agreement Between SAG-AFTRA and AMPTP
The last few days were spent by both sides adding some finishing touches to the agreement. This deal is going to be the first of its kind in history where the actors and other people who work in the filmmaking industry are provided protection from the use of Artificial Intelligence. This agreement not only protects them from their jobs being taken over by AI but also grants them a significant pay raise. According to the new agreement between SAG-AFTRA and Alliance of Motion Picture and TV Producers (AMPTP), the minimum wage will be raised by 7%.
According to this deal, the workers will also receive an increased pension as well as healthcare contributions. Not only this but according to an e-mail sent to SAG-AFTRA, the deal also includes a “streaming participation bonus”. With all of this mentioned, the e-mail also states-

Omegle has been around for 14 years now, being founded way back in 2009. After a glorious run of over a decade, the popular video chat service that allowed users to chat with random people online has shut down. Omegle founder Leif K-Brooks has updated the platform to post a farewell note, citing all the things that drove him and his team to pull the plug. Users will see this post instead of the usual Omegle interface when they visit the website now.
So, Why Did Omegle Shut Down?
On November 9, 2023, Brooks shared a detailed post to reveal that Omegle is officially shutting down. In this note, he specifically stated how people have been using the platform to “commit unspeakably heinous crimes.” Omegle saw a major rise in its user base during the pandemic, being a hit with mostly teenagers. However, it is not just teenagers that were using Omegle. The service could be accessed by children as well, of any age group. This automatically allowed certain bad actors to take to the platform, like the Virginia man case.
Brooks further revealed how “Omegle’s moderation even had a positive impact beyond the site. Omegle worked with law enforcement agencies, and the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, to help put evildoers in prison where they belong. There are “people” rotting behind bars right now thanks in part to evidence that Omegle proactively collected against them, and tipped the authorities off to.”
Further, he goes on to say how the lack of a moral compass in some of these users who used the platform for malicious deeds has led to the platform getting attacked left, right, and center. In a way, from the looks of it, this abuse of Omegle is what seems to be the primary reason for its shutdown.
Due to the raging safety concerns of using the platform, Brooks finally says how, “Operating Omegle is no longer sustainable, financially nor psychologically. Frankly, I don’t want to have a heart attack in my 30s.” So yeah, the popular video chat service is going offline after fourteen years! Did you ever use Omegle? Galaxy AI on Galaxy S24 Series Isn’t Bixby
Before anything else, you need to know that Galaxy AI on the upcoming Galaxy S24 lineup isn’t Bixby. Instead, Samsung says that it will be smarter and offer more features than the smart assistant. To be exact, it will offer “barrier-free communication, simplified productivity, and unconstrained creativity.”
We’ve had reports saying similar things before. As Ice Universe tipped, Samsung is working to deeply integrate its new AI features with One UI instead of giving its smart assistant new AI smarts. But Samsung won’t go completely in on on-device AI for the Galaxy S24 series.

Instead, Samsung confirmed that Galaxy AI will be a mix of on-device AI that’s developed by Samsung and cloud-based AI. The latter part is enabled by Samsung’s partners.
Another thing to note is Samsung announced a new generative AI yesterday. It’s called Samsung Gauss. It’s the model that will power the Galaxy AI. While we don’t know how well it will perform on the Galaxy S24 devices, Samsung has assured that users can count on it.
Samsung has also said that it will maintain the highest standards of security and privacy. Samsung has also offered an example of how Galaxy AI can enhance users’ experience better on Galaxy S24 devices. It will bring real-time audio and text translations.
