Nubia shared a first-look video, which is embedded below for you to check out.
Moreover, the device will feature an under-display camera on the front. It’s the fifth Nubia gaming smartphone to have this feature. But again, we don’t yet know what the sensor will be. However, the phone is very close to being launched. And Nubia should offer more details about the Red Magic 9 Pro soon. We will keep you updated.
Like all other returning characters, Cammy’s attire was reworked for Street Fighter 6. Aside from her appearance in the Street Fighter Alpha series, Cammy has mostly looked the same throughout the Street Fighter franchise.
Generally speaking, fans have been expecting to see Cammy with a thong leotard, red gauntlets, black boots, red socks, and a red beret. Variations of this look had Cammy trading camouflaged paint for gun holsters and straps.
In Street Fighter 6, she instead wears a sports bra, yoga pants, red gauntlets (the right one reaches a little further down her forearm), dark blue socks, red boots, a black choker, and a leather jacket with the United Kingdom logo plastered on the back of it. Additionally, Cammy’s blonde hair has now been trimmed so that it only reaches to her shoulders.
As it turns out, Cammy’s reworked design has apparently inspired Kat Kitinam to cosplay as the character. She pulls off a number of stretches and poses while portraying the classic Street Fighter rep.
Needless to say, one of the stretches that Kat Kitinam pulls off appears to be based off of one of Cammy’s taunts in Street Fighter 6. This particular taunt has become quite meme-worthy within the fighting game community since it debuted during Cammy’s trailer.
Like most other characters in Street Fighter 6, Cammy’s involvement in the World Tour’s main story is pretty minimal. She’s actually the first character that the player avatar can visit as a result of completing a side quest. Until that specific side quest is complete, the United Kingdom location on the world map is deserted and barren.
Check out Kat Kitinam’s depiction of Cammy as she appears in Street Fighter 6 below:
It turns out that Kat Kitinam has also cosplayed as Manon, one of the newcomers introduced in Street Fighter 6. Like Lily and Zangief, Manon’s gameplay style is best described as a grappler archetype.
Manon fights with an interesting combination of judo and ballet dancing. Manon’s command grabs are often performed during complicated dance maneuvers.
Unique to Manon is her Medal Level system. Every time she performs a command grab, her Medal Level raises by one, up to a maximum five. Her command grabs become significantly stronger as her Medal Level is increased. What’s most scary about this system is that it persists between rounds.
In a surprising move, OpenAI has paused new sign-ups for its premium subscription plan, ChatGPT Plus, which costs $20 per month. It does not affect users who use the free version of ChatGPT or existing ChatGPT Plus customers. ChatGPT Plus users get access to OpenAI’s best LLM models out there, GPT-4 and GPT-4 Turbo with support for plugins, internet browsing support, data analysis, image analysis, and a lot more. Why OpenAI has halted sign-ups? Let’s find out.
OpenAI Pauses New Sign-ups for ChatGPT Plus
Right after DevDay, OpenAI’s first developer conference, the company faced an intense DDoS attack, which led to the outage of ChatGPT and its APIs for more than a day. During DevDay, OpenAI announced GPTs — a custom version of ChatGPT that users can create for their specific purpose or task. The Microsoft-backed company was finally able to recover its services after mitigating the attack.
But now, Sam Altman, the CEO of OpenAI, announced on X (formerly Twitter) that the company is pausing new sign-ups for ChatGPT Plus. As you can infer from the tweet, the decision has been taken to ensure a smooth experience for new users. Altman says, “the surge in usage post devday has exceeded our capacity…” referring to a huge influx of users signing up for ChatGPT Plus to get access to all the new features.
we are pausing new ChatGPT Plus sign-ups for a bit
the surge in usage post devday has exceeded our capacity and we want to make sure everyone has a great experience.
you can still sign-up to be notified within the app when subs reopen.— Sam Altman (@sama) November 15, 2023
During DevDay, OpenAI made several key announcements, including a new and improved GPT-4 Turbo model, a unified ChatGPT experience, GPTs, APIs for Dall -E 3, GPT-4V, a new Whisper V3 model, and much more. This has piqued the interest of users who were still on the fence about whether to get the premium plan or not.
Interestingly, amid the halt, some people are looking to bank on the hype and are offering shared use of their ChatGPT Plus accounts on eBay. It goes on to show that people are scrambling to get access to ChatGPT’s best capabilities, and OpenAI is unable to keep up with the demand. Just recently, reports suggested that OpenAI is unable to get its hands on powerful Nvidia GPUs and it’s working with Microsoft to build in-house AI chips to avoid over-reliance on Nvidia.
So what do you think about OpenAI’s decision to pause new sign-ups for ChatGPT Plus subscription? Let us know your opinions in the comments section below.
iPhone and Android smartphones differ in many ways. But a notable distinction is the “green bubble” vs. “blue bubble” debate on iMessage. iMessage offers a straightforward, privacy-focused messaging solution for iPhone users. However, messages from Android appear with a green bubble instead of the standard blue. Nothing has brought a fix for its Android smartphones.
The company has integrated iMessage into its newest Android smartphone. It’s through a new “Nothing Chats” app that’s powered by the messaging platform Sunbird. It will be available to EU, North America, and other European countries users starting November 17th, this Friday.
More About Nothing Chats
As the company writes on its page, Nothing is doing this because “messaging services are dividing phone users.” And by rolling out this app, it wants to “break those barriers down.” However, there’s a catch in this. If you want your text to show as blue bubbles on iMessage through the Nothing smartphones, you need to trust Sunbird.
In the FAQ section, Nothing says that Sunbird’s provides a system that offers message delivery without ever storing it. That is, the messages will only be delivered from one user to another without getting stored in its servers. Marques Brownlee, a reputed source for all things tech, had a preview of the app.
He confirmed that the messages aren’t actually stored. Marques shares that it works similar to how iMessage to Android bridge services worked in the past. He says, “It’s literally signing in on some Mac Mini in a server farm somewhere.” And “that Mac Mini will then do all of the routing for you to make this happen.”
Nothing’s head of PR in the US had a conversation with The Verge in this regard. According to Jane Nho, Sunbird stores the iCloud credentials of the users as a token. It’s stored “in an encrypted database.” The tokens are also associated with one of Sunbird’s Mac Minis in Europe or the US. These Mac Minis act like a relay for messages sent via the Nothing Chats app.
Gizchina News of the week
She added that the account information of the users is deleted after two weeks of inactivity. Even so, Nothing Chats will require you to give access to your iCloud account. Otherwise, it just won’t work. And while Sunbird is giving a privacy-focused solution now, things may change later. So, it’s better to be very skeptical regarding this.
What About the Features?
The Washington Post has had the chance to try out Nothing Chats and its features. As the author says, the app works “for the most part.” But you won’t get some of the fancier features that iMessage has to offer. That includes the ability to edit your text messages after sending them.
Also, the Tapback reactions on Nothing Chats “don’t fully work yet.” Also, the author said that it’s not fully stable at the current stage. For example, during the test, the outlet needed to send messages multiple times to get them into group chats. Also, group iMessage doesn’t work unless someone in the group chat doesn’t have iMessage.
But it Nothing chats do have the basic features. That includes being the users of the other end seeing the typing animation. The app also enables Android phone users to share uncompressed media. And the great part is Nothing plans to bring message reactions and read receipts at some time in the near future.
Generally, to get access to Sunbird, you would need to get on the waitlist. But as Sunbird’s CEO says, “For the next few months, the only way to get Sunbird is to have a Nothing Phone (2).”
Just last night, Street Fighter 6’s servers went down for a scheduled maintenance period. This has resulted in a new update for the game.
There is only one patch note to speak about with this latest update. Jamie’s infinite stun bug has been removed from the game.
According to the patch notes, Capcom has made it so that a character’s Burnout status will no longer continue if Jamie performs the Overdrive Tenshin with no follow up. Considering that Jamie has the unique mechanic of being able to restore his Drive Gauge after reaching his maximum Drink Level, he was able to keep the opponent immobilized for an obscene amount of time.
It’s been demonstrated that this was actually possible to perform during a real match. More specifically, this works well against Zangief since his level 1 Super Art is practically useless as a reversal.
For now, it seems that the “infinite Drive Gauge” or “fireball meter glitch” hasn’t been addressed with this latest update. Regarldess, we still suspect that this exploit will also get removed in a later patch.
Check out the patch notes for this latest update below:
• Overdrive Tenshin (→↓←+2 Kicks): Fixed an issue where the opponent’s Burnout state would continue if Jamie hits a stunned opponent with an Overdrive Tenshin but does not perform a follow-up attack.
So folks, the wait is finally over. The official trailer for Madame Web has been released and boy oh boy, does it look good. Dakota Johnson is playing the role of Cassandra Webb and she can see the future. She rescues three girls from being killed by a villain who looks strikingly similar to Spider-Man. So….now the question is, who is this Spider-Man doppelganger? Who are these three girls? Read on to find out all about this upcoming Marvel movie!
Madame Web Trailer Released
So, in the Madame Web trailer, we get to see Cassandra Webb trying to save three girls from being hunted down. The man behind these girls is called Ezekiel Simmons and can apparently see into the future. However, our Madame Web can do the same and is seen rescuing these girls in a very Final Destination manner from being attacked by Simmons.
Now who are these girls? The three girls she is trying to save are Julia Carpenter, Mattie Franklin, and Anya Corazon, who are part of the incredible cast of Madame Web. These three girls in the future turn out to be the successors of Madame Web, Spider-Woman, and Spider-Girl, respectively.
It seems as if Ezekiel is trying to prevent the three of them from gaining their superpowers for some reason by killing them. Now we don’t know what the reason exactly is, but come on, some things should be left to be discovered in the movie theaters, shouldn’t they?
If you ask me, this movie has a lot of potential since it’s the first time we will see so many “Spider-People” together on screen in live action. Madame Web is a pretty important character in the prospect of the complete spider verse and if they do this movie right, it could work as a huge advantage for Marvel in the future.
However, all we can do right now is hope for the best and keep our fingers crossed while we wait for the official Madame Web release date of 16 February 2024.
The European Union (EU) has reached a provisional agreement on the creation of a digital identity framework. It includes the establishment of a European digital identity (eID) wallet. This wallet will enable all Europeans to access online services using their national digital identification. The fighting game community has its own particular meme culture, and no matter what you think, we wouldn’t trade trade it for any other.
Luke’s voice actor for Street Fighter 6, Aleks Le, recently held a special stream with the legendary Kyle Hebert where they made the Ryu from Streets meme official.
Following the live stream, Le would post the clip online of Hebert voicing the character he’s been playing for 15 years at this point in a way he probably hasn’t before.
And though he could have made it sound clean, it seems they wanted to keep the audio basically blown out to better match the original.
The Ryu from Streets meme originated all the way back in May 2015 through Zoobe’s voice messaging service, which is a lot farther back than we thought.
Though Zoobe shut down back in 2017, Ryu from Streets has lived on since before Street Fighter 5 released all the way through Street Fighter 6 coming out while still being referenced.
This isn’t the first time Aleks Le has messed around with the meme either, since he recorded a different version for Luke that took a lot more work than the original ever did.
You can find Hebert talking about his love for stale bread below as well as the full stream with the two voice actors on Le’s Twitch channel.

Tesla has been at the forefront of electric vehicle technology. The company has made significant strides in perfecting its range of prediction tools. The accuracy of range calculations is crucial in curbing range anxiety and ensuring a seamless driving experience for Tesla owners. Over the years, Tesla has invested in refining its range calculation by incorporating various factors that affect the efficiency and energy consumption of its vehicles. Whether it is an electric or internal combustion engine power system, calculating the cruising range is a difficult task. Because there are so many factors that affect a vehicle’s driving efficiency, it’s difficult to determine how far it can travel with a full battery or full tank of fuel.
However, the calculation of cruising range is very important. Also, accurate cruising range prediction can alleviate cruising range anxiety to a certain extent. When a destination is entered into the navigation system, Tesla will show the driver the estimated remaining range when arriving at the destination. As long as the range prediction remains true, there will be no range anxiety.
Although Tesla has been a leader in electric cars, the company still falls short when it comes to calculating range. Tesla has put more effort into range calculations over the past few years, adding factors for “crosswinds, headwinds, humidity and ambient temperature” in a software update last year. A few months later, tire pressure was also added to the calculations.
In a new post on X, Tesla listed all the factors involved in accurately predicting the cruising range of a specific vehicle on a specific trip. Below is the list from Tesla
Wind speed and direction
Altitude/slope
Traffic speed
Average acceleration/deceleration
ambient temperature
Humidity and pressure
Solar load and cloud cover
Initial battery percentage
Initial battery temperature
Total vehicle weight
rolling resistance
aerodynamic drag coefficient
HVAC consumption
Vehicle-specific energy consumption (bike rack or similar)
Battery warm-up
Description of each factor
1. Wind speed and direction
When calculating the range of a vehicle in the presence of wind, it is important to consider the impact of wind speed and direction. Wind can affect the energy consumption and efficiency of a vehicle, especially in the case of electric vehicles (EVs). The wind speed and direction can be calculated from on-board measurements using parameters such as desired track, current heading, ground speed, and true airspeed. Also, the effect of wind speed on a car can be understood by considering the work that the engine must exert to maintain speed. This is equal to the drag times the velocity.
2. Altitude/slope
The slope of a road affects the energy consumption and performance of a car. To calculate the maximum slope a car can climb, you can use the elevation grade formula. This expresses the slope as a percentage, decimal, rise over run, or an angle in degrees. Also, understanding the slope of a road helps in designing safer ascending and descending routes, and engineers can use cutting-and-filling procedures to decrease the slope in less steep terrain. Furthermore, measuring the slope of a road is essential for determining the energy required to climb it and for estimating the horizontal or vertical distance needed to support an incline to an elevation. Therefore, considering altitude and slope in car range calculation is essential for optimizing energy efficiency and estimating the car’s performance on different terrains.
3. Traffic speed
Traffic speed in car range calculation is crucial for various purposes, including determining liability in accidents and setting speed limits. Lawyers use charts to calculate speed per second in car accident cases. Traffic engineers use the 85th percentile speed to set safe speed limits and promote uniform traffic flow. The average speed of a vehicle can be calculated by dividing the total distance traveled by the total time spent traveling. This information is important for understanding how fast vehicles are traveling and for making decisions related to traffic speed.
4. Average acceleration/deceleration
The average acceleration/deceleration of a car affects its range by impacting its energy consumption. Rapid acceleration and deceleration can lead to higher energy consumption, reducing the car’s range. Conversely, smooth and gradual acceleration and deceleration can improve energy efficiency, thereby extending the car’s range.
Gizchina News of the week
5. Ambient temperature
Ambient temperature significantly influences an electric car’s range. Cold temperatures can reduce battery performance and increase energy consumption, leading to a decrease in range. Conversely, warm temperatures can improve battery performance and energy efficiency, potentially extending the car’s range.
6. Humidity and pressure
Humidity and pressure have a minimal direct impact on an electric car’s range. However, they can indirectly affect range by influencing aerodynamic drag, tire pressure, and overall vehicle efficiency. Higher humidity and pressure may slightly increase aerodynamic drag, potentially reducing the car’s range.
7. Solar load and cloud cover
Solar load and cloud cover can impact an electric car’s range. Especially in hot climates, it can increase the car’s energy consumption for cooling, potentially reducing the range. Cloud cover may reduce the impact of solar load, but it can also affect ambient temperature, which in turn influences the car’s range.
8. Initial battery percentage
The initial battery percentage, or state of charge, directly affects the available energy for driving. A higher initial battery percentage provides more energy for driving, potentially extending the car’s range. Conversely, a lower initial battery percentage reduces the available energy, leading to a shorter range.
9. Initial battery temperature
The initial battery temperature affects an electric car’s range. Low temperatures can reduce battery efficiency and increase internal resistance, leading to decreased range. Conversely, high temperatures can improve battery performance, potentially extending the car’s range.
10. Total vehicle weight
The total vehicle weight directly impacts an electric car’s range. Heavier vehicles require more energy to move, resulting in higher energy consumption and reduced range. Lighter vehicles are more energy-efficient, potentially extending the car’s range.
11. Rolling resistance
Rolling resistance, caused by the interaction between tires and the road, affects an electric car’s range. Higher rolling resistance requires more energy to propel the vehicle, leading to increased energy consumption and reduced range. Lower rolling resistance can improve energy efficiency, potentially extending the car’s range.
12. Aerodynamic drag coefficient
The aerodynamic drag coefficient significantly influences an electric car’s range. A higher drag coefficient increases air resistance, requiring more energy to maintain speed and reducing the car’s range. Lower drag coefficients improve energy efficiency, potentially extending the car’s range.
13. HVAC consumption
HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) consumption impacts an electric car’s range. Operating HVAC systems, especially heating and cooling, increases energy consumption, reducing the car’s range. Minimizing HVAC usage can improve energy efficiency, potentially extending the car’s range.
14. Vehicle-specific energy consumption
Vehicle-specific energy consumption, measured in kWh per mile or kilometer, directly impacts an electric car’s range. Lower energy consumption results in a longer range, while higher consumption reduces the range. Understanding a car’s energy consumption allows for accurate range calculations, crucial for planning drives and optimizing efficiency.
15. Battery warm-up
Battery warm-up can affect an electric car’s range. Cold batteries have reduced efficiency and capacity, leading to decreased range. Preheating the battery can improve its performance, potentially extending the car’s range. Managing battery temperature is essential for maximizing an electric car’s range and overall efficiency[1][3].
Final Words
