Mmesoma Jamb Saga: God has confirmed the prophecy given through me – Prophet Dan

    By Ovat Abeng

Following the recent development that had a Good Samaritan sponsored Mmesoma Ejikeme for a trip abroad to continue her studies, Prophet Dan Okechukwu Ezeudoka has stated that this is a confirmation of his prophesy concerning the girl some months back.

    It would be recalled that the prophecy, which went viral when it was released as it was published on several media platforms read thus in part;

“God wants to use Mmesoma to bless her family. God said she should not panic. That his hands are upon her. That he has remembered her in a Mighty way. The emphasis is on “Mighty Way”.

“That you should not panic. What I see upon you is beyond Africa. The mighty grace upon you is beyond Africa. People will see what they call Grace. Mighty favour and Mighty Grace. Not just grace but extraordinary grace upon you. So, my sister do not panic over what you are seeing or your experiences. It is just the way God wants it to happen so that he will use stupid things to make things beautiful. Those stupid things are people’s selfish interest. I want to tell you that outside what you are seeing, what is ahead of you will marvel you. You will be surprised and speechless.

“So, do not allow any of these things happening now to disturb your mind. God is in control. God is with you. Mighty hand of God almighty is upon you. The Mighty One. I saw grace. Mighty Grace outside and above Africa.

“Be focused and remember God always. That God who remembered you. It is written even from the day you were born. He will never disappoint you.

“God wants to use you to remember the whole of your family and your state. I am not telling you because you scored high in UTME but I am talking to you as a prophet.”

This was published on July edition of Fides Newspaper amongst other news media platforms.

And just as was prophesied, people have continued to reach out to Mmesoma and her family since the controversy to seek how to better their lot. This culminated in the recent securing of admission for her to continue her studies abroad with all expenses paid by her benefactors.

Speaking on the issue of the mutilated UTME score, Prophet Dan emphasized the need for the grace of God in every person’s life, adding that when the grace of God abounds, it does not matter what condition one finds oneself, a sure escape will surely be provided. He stated that the focus of his prophesy was not on the issue of her JAMB score but on the plan of God for her and her family.

He therefore thanked God for showing Mmesoma and her family mercy and reminded Mmesoma to remember him in her paradise.

Two brothers burnt to death in Onitsha

    By Ovat Abeng

Two persons suspected to be brothers were on Wednesday burnt to death in Onitsha, Anambra State, for touting.

In a video that had gone viral, bystanders were seen screaming,  “These are touts collecting illegal levies around Bida area of Onitsha. They were being set ablaze for touting. This is not good. The punishment is too much for just touting. They are children to somebody. This is the return of Bakassi Boys.”

The alleged touts were seen in the video struggling to escape from bonfire, but could not.

Reacting to the development, the Anambra Police Command condemned the jungle justice, but described the suspects as notorious armed robbers.

The state Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Tochukwu Ikenga said, “The Commissioner of Police, CP Aderemi Adeoye, has condemned the act and reiterated his call for members of the public to always take criminal offenders to the nearest Police Station for necessary policing actions, particularly the conduct of appropriate investigations.

“The CP has, therefore, ordered a thorough investigation of the incident.

“Meanwhile, preliminary information reveals that the two male suspects, who were later simply identified as Omaume and Monday, are members of a notorious armed robbery gang led by one Ikanda (male), already in the Correctional Service Custodial Centre.

“The gang is alleged to be responsible for several acts of attack and the dispossession of traders and unsuspecting victims of their personal belongings at the Main Market, Onitsha.”

Recall that the Anambra State Governor, Prof. Chukwuma Soludo, had last week launched the Anambra Special Anti-Touting Squad in his efforts to get rid of touts in the state.

During the launch in Upper-Iweka, Onitsha, the governor warned that the days of touts in the state were numbered as a full-blown war had been declared against them.

Soludo pointed out that in an environment where lawlessness had become a culture, bringing back law and order will be difficult, hence the reason for the exercise.

He congratulated members of the squad who had been found worthy and offered to serve, urging them to serve with commitment, passion, and diligence.

He also advised them to adhere to laid-down standards and the code of conduct guiding their operations.

Soludo said, “Members of the anti-touting squad shall collaborate with the Nigerian Armed Forces, who have the primary responsibility to keep the state safe.

“The launch of the squad is an acceleration on the key promise we made to the people living in the greater Onitsha area, which consists of Onitsha North, Onitsha South, Ogbaru, Oyi, and Idemili, to restore Anambra State, known for law and order, back to its full glory as the ‘Light of the Nation.

“When we assumed office, eight local government areas were taken over. Thanks to the combined efforts of our security agencies and the vigilante service with their support, those local government areas have been liberated and normalcy restored.”

Soludo, however, urged the citizens to always remember the campaign of ‘if you see something, you say something and to put it into practice.

According to him, phone numbers shall be made available to citizens to inform the government of any touting activities they noticed in the area.

While warning all market chairmen, he pointed out that any market where touts are still operating shall be disbanded and the chairmen shall be removed from office, adding that each market chairman must take responsibility.

“We have told the youths to come out from their hideouts from the bush. We shall help to rehabilitate and integrate them into society to be useful to their families, communities, states, and nations.

“While dealing with hoodlums on a larger scale, we will be dealing with touts in Onitsha greater area and Anambra State as a whole.

“We are fighting a war to bring back the soul of our society governed by law and order, not a society where anyone does what he or she likes arbitrarily without recourse to law and order.

“Touts disturb customers who come from every nook and cranny of the country. But this journey is to rescue Onitsha as a commercial hub and Anambra State in general,” he added.

Kwankwaso no longer NNPP member – South East Zonal Leadership

    By Ovat Abeng

The ongoing leadership crisis in New Nigerian People’s Party (NNPP), has continued to get sour as leaders of the party from the South East geopolitical zone, comprises; Anambra, Enugu, Abia, Imo and Ebonyi States, has says it 2023 Presidential candidate, Allahaji Mohammed Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, is no longer a member of the party.

They also reaffirmed the dissolution of Kawu Ali’s led-National Working Committee (NWC) of the party.

“They alleged that Allahaji Kwankwaso and some of his Kwankwassia supporter’s membership expired immediately after the conclusion of the February 25th, 2023 Presidential election.

They called on the general public not to have any political dealings with Kwankwaso, under the platform of NNPP again.

The South East leaders announced that Dr. Boniface Aniebonam, who founded the party twenty two years ago remain the National leader of the party under the Chairmanship of Dr. Agbo Major.

The resolution of the meeting held in Awka, the Anambra State Capital, on Saturday, was move by Hon Chief Ozeogu Stephen acting Ebonyi state chairman of NNPP and seconded by Hon Nnani Nnaemeka Emmanuel acting state publicity secretary imo state respectively.

In some of the discussions during the full house meeting, the leaders accused the current NWC and Kwankwaso of hijacking the party structure from the original owners and for not involving the founder, Dr. Aniebonam in the party’s scheme of things.

The convener and Deputy National Chairman of the Party, Chief Felix Chukwurah, who also spoke, explain, ” We are all aware that NNPP as the number four out of eighteen parties after the last general elections have encountered encumbrances  capable of destabilizing her pursuits in many fronts towards claiming God’s mandate of producing number one citizen (the president) in Nigeria and other political offices in the three arms of government in the next political dispensation come 2027.

“APC, PDP, Labour Party and the rest of the political parties in Nigeria including ours are burdened with colours of quagmire internally and externally to the extent that some candidates who came out victorious in the last elections are already defecting to other parties for one reason or the other.

“Our party NNPP is not immuned to party quagmires, but the peculiarities in our circumstances is worth  dealing with decisively to resist the obvious. We have a situation where the party constitution was grossly violated and abandoned for a new fresh one under the guise of amendment by some recent entrants in the party to enable them perfect a hijack of the party, founded and nurtured for twenty two years by Dr. Boniface Aniebonam supported by some other pioneer members.

“We have a situation where the NWC was swallowed and manipulated by few new entrants (Kwankwaso and co). they marshal the NWC members to meetings in their private houses for easy access and control of selfish and unpopular decisions.

“They frame anybody they set their eye on especially some state chairmen who are not likely to support their hijack agenda and suspend or expel them all together.

They conspired and replaced  their imaginary enemies in many states with some Kwankwasia members as the caretaker chairmen.

“Furthermore, those evil geniuses who are professional transactional politicians who penetrate parties, use them for the purpose of jogging out money from unsuspecting individuals and corporations within or outside the country, after the above actions moved to suspend the founder and prominent founding pioneers in the NNPP but the chicken will come home to roast because they failed beforehand.

“Barrister Anazor and my humble self did all we could to broker peace but we were ignored. finally, we went to federal high court to stop the madness, by instituting an injunction restraining them from holding any convention, in which they intend to perfect expulsion of the amiable founder of our great party NNPP, nor amend the party constitution to aid their plot or  parade themselves as functionaries of our party any longer.

According to him, the Constitution of our party reiterates that the Board of Trust BOT chairman has the power to call to order erring members and much more. Hence the reconstitution of the NWCS and BOTs, to weed out the inconsistent members to enable the true party loyalists to manage the party effectively.

In the coming weeks, many of our court cases would have yielded expected result of sending all the miscreants and hijackers out of our party with restorations of the party glory like never before.

“This conference is a platform of introduction of the newly appointed acting state chairmen to the zonal authority and assure our southeast members that the old NNPP structure is intact, as the strange entrants who joined us with one evil intention of wrestling the party out our hands have failed. we shall discuss  unfolding occurrences in the party affairs, which includes reaffirmation of the dissolution of Kawu ali lead NWC and expulsion of Kwankwaso and Kwankwasia support group. finally, to announce the expiration of the MoU that brought NNPP /NAGAF and Kwankwaso/kwankwasia in union to contest for elective positions in the past elections.

It is in the wake of the foregoing that this meeting was also convened to update our members and urged them to join hands in moving our party forward than ever before.

Chukwurah, assured that NNPP is fully prepared and ready to take over Imo State Government House in the forecoming November 11th, 2023 Governorship election in the state.
