The Pentagon cannot account for $3.8 trillion dollars worth of military assets according to a new Department of Defense audit – raising alarm bells not just because of the obvious lack of accountability, but because the last time the Pentagon ‘lost’ an enormous sum of money, 9/11 happened.

Donald Rumsfeld was due to testify about a missing $2.3 trillion before Congress on September 13 2001, however the case was put on hold after the events of September 11.

The paper trail was destroyed when one side of the Pentagon was blown up, and the $2.3 trillion dollar case was brushed under the rubble.

The new case of the missing trillions, and the combustible political climate in 2023, has left many commentators fearing that “something big is about to happen again.”

“Auditing the department’s $3.8 trillion in assets and $4 trillion in liabilities is a massive undertaking,” Pentagon Comptroller Michael McCord said. “But the improvements and changes we are making every day as a result of these audits positively affect every soldier, sailor, airman, Marine, guardian and DOD civilian.”

Stripes reports: Hundreds of independent auditors examine the Pentagon’s books each year to determine whether it can account for the money it’s given and how effectively the military is spending it. There are three possible audit ratings – an unqualified opinion, a qualified opinion and a disclaimer of opinion.

The consolidated 2023 audit, which is the overall accounting of the Defense Department, gave a disclaimer of opinion, which means the Pentagon couldn’t give auditors enough financial data to allow them to form an opinion. An unqualified, or “clean,” opinion is the highest possible rating and a qualified opinion is an acceptable rating. Both mean that auditors were given enough information to make a complete judgment.

“This was the sixth year of progress toward an unmodified opinion,” the department said in a statement. “Of the 29 component standalone audits, seven received unmodified opinions, one received a qualified opinion and 18 received disclaimers of opinion.”

The Pentagon said the remaining three component opinions are pending. That includes the 2023 audit for the Marine Corps, which was granted an extension until mid-February to furnish more information to auditors.

US troops have been dispatched to help secure Israel’s highly sensitive nuclear facilities, including the top secret site at Dimona according to reports.

The Dimona facility has long been suspected to be the birthplace of Israel’s nuclear weapons program

Tel Aviv neither refuses to confirm orr deny its nuclear weapons status and instead sticks to a policy known as “deliberate ambiguity.”

The Stockholm International Peace Research Institute however, estimates that Israel has about 80 nuclear weapons in its arsenal.

According to Sputnik, US officials have vacillated between denying the presence of American boots on the ground in Israel, and admitting that small numbers of commandos have been deployed to help search for hostages and advise their Israeli counterparts.

Sources speaking to an independent online Arabic-language newspaper indicated that the US told a Lebanese intelligence intermediary that American troops “would not participate” in field operations in the Gaza Strip “under any circumstances,” but rather be deployed to “secure and protect” two Israeli research reactors, the Negev Nuclear Research Center near the city of Dimona, and a second facility in the desert near the locality of Yavne in central Israel.

The outlet alleges that up to 2,000 US troops are on the ground inside Israel in total, among them military advisors, technicians, and a sprinkling of troops.

The forces deployed to guard the Israeli nuclear facilities are meant to isolate and protect them from attacks by Hamas’s prospective regional allies, with the contingent provided with “the latest air defense technologies,” according to the paper’s sources.

“These clarifications reached the [Palestinian] resistance leadership exclusively through a Lebanese channel trusted by all parties, and are believed to be linked” to a former director of Lebanon’s General Security Directorate, according to the outlet. The former spy chief is said to have proven a “pivotal figure” in communications between the US on one side and Hamas and Hezbollah on the other.

Sputnik could not independently corroborate the veracity of the outlet’s reporting.

However, security sources which told an Iranian news agency last month about the presence of some 5,000 US troops inside Israel made mention of US forces being tasked with ensuring security at Israel’s nuclear facilities.

US officials confirmed late last month that US commandos were on the ground in Israel “helping the Israelis to do a number of things,” including “to identify hostages,” in coordination with FBI, State Department and other hostage-recovery specialists. The US presence were there to and advise their Israeli counterparts, but not assigned combatant roles, officials said.

These reports challenge assurances by Vice President Kamala Harris on October 30 that the US had “absolutely no intention nor do we have any plans to send combat troops into Israel or Gaza, period.”

Sputnik reported last month that the Pentagon has been working quietly in recent months to expand Site 512, a previously unacknowledged military base atop Mount Har Qeren in Israel’s Negev Desert.

Along with the Shimon Peres Negev Nuclear Research Center outside Dimona, Israel is known to operate the Soreq Nuclear Research Center outside Yavne, Israel. The facilities are operated by the Israel Atomic Energy Commission, and do not generate power for commercial use.

Former Raytheon employee and whistleblower Eric Hecker has claimed that the US has developed highly advanced technology that is capable of causing earthquakes.

Hecker recently joined Patrick Bet-David on podcast to warn the world about the military-industrial complex secrets that are hidden in the South Pole.

He started the interview by describing his background and how he came to work for one of the world’s most powerful weapons manufacturers.

InfoWars reports: Originally working as a plumber, the whistleblower was working for high-class clients who would sometimes use him as some sort of “getaway driver” when they wanted to leave a location.

Eventually, Hecker ended up getting a job with Raytheon as a plumbing and heating specialist and was sent to Antarctica.

After speaking with several scientists stationed at the South Pole, it became clear to Hecker that there was directed energy weapon research being done under the guise of a scientific project.

He told Bet-David there are “Directed energy weapons platforms operating under the false pretenses of science. That’s what’s actually going on at the South Pole Station. There are technologies and weapons-grade technologies on this planet that the average citizen cannot even begin to wrap their brains around. And that’s why I’m speaking out. That’s my motivation is that we the people of this planet are obligated to leave it better than we found it for our children and if we have no idea the disaster we were handed, we’re not in a position to rectify the problem.”

Later, Hecker claimed a device called, “the IceCube Neutrino Detector,” caused two accidental earthquakes in Christchurch, New Zealand, in its first time being tested.

Once the powers that be harnessed the earthquake technology, nations were reportedly threatened if they didn’t cooperate with certain global agendas.

Turkey was allegedly a nation that tried to buck the system and was subsequently hit with an engineered earthquake.

Infowars questioned whether technologies were used to create the Turkey earthquake soon after it wreaked havoc on the country.

A Romanian member of parliament also accused the West of deliberately triggering the massive earthquake in Turkey as a warning not to stray from the globalist agenda.

At one point, Hecker told Bet-David how scientists are reportedly manipulating Earth’s tectonic plates at fault lines to intentionally cause earthquakes.

The project cost around $500 billion, according to the whistleblower.

Iceland remains under a state of emergency amid a series of daily earthquakes that are prompting fears of volcanic eruption.

More than 1,500 earthquakes have hit since early Tuesday with officials warning that a volcanic eruption remains imminent.

The 1,500 earthquakes that struck on Tuesday and Wednesday were preceded by 900 earthquakes on Monday.

Sputnik reports: Researchers have detected sulfur dioxide, a colorless gas with a strong odor that can cause breathing issues and irritate the eyes. The high presence of sulfur dioxide indicates magma is likely near the surface.

The Icelandic Meteorological Office warned on Wednesday that the likelihood of an eruption “remains high” and that the current status is unchanged from recent forecasts.

“The probability of an eruption is still considered high,” the Wednesday report read. “In the event of an eruption, the most likely location is at the magma dyke.”

Matthew James Roberts, the director of the Service and Research Division at the Icelandic Meteorological Office, described a “thin sliver of magma” more than 9.3 miles (15km) long that is making its way to the surface in the town of Grindavik in the Reykjanes Peninsula, home to about 3,800 people.

Roberts told US media he fears a “Hawaiian-style, lava-producing volcanic eruption,” noting it is under a populated area and close to infrastructure.

While most of the earthquakes were small, described as “microquakes,” the largest registered as a magnitude 3.1 quake, strong enough to cause minor damage to buildings.

The fault line between the North American Plate and the Eurasian Plate runs through Iceland, including the Reykjavik Peninsula.

Images from the area show roads broken apart by large crevices and holes. Thousands have been forced to evacuate the area and the Icelandic Department of Civil Protection and Emergency Management has declared a state of emergency throughout the country, warning that an eruption could come at any moment.

“We have this tremendous uncertainty now,” Roberts said. “Will there be an eruption? And if so, what sort of damage will occur?”
