One character stands out as having the most polarizing match ups in the entire game
Capcom has released the latest stats for Street Fighter 6, and I wanted to specifically take a look at the top 10 worst match ups in the game, based on ranked matches with Master ranked players being the only ones factored into the equation.
Technically, there’s 11 match ups here, since there’s a 5-way tie for 7th place, but if you’ve ever wondered which match ups are the hardest in the game, Capcom has provided statistical proof of the most difficult match ups to overcome in Street Fighter 6.
1. Dhalsim beats Zangief 6.4 to 3.6
2. Dhalsim beats Lily 6.0 to 4.0
3. JP beats Guile 5.9 to 4.1
3. Dhalsim beats JP 5.9 to 4.1
3. E. Honda beats Dhalsim 5.9 to 4.1
3. E. Honda beats Blanka 5.9 to 4.1
7. JP beats Zangief 5.7 to 4.3
7. M. Bison beats Dhalsim 5.7 to 4.3
7. Dhalsim beats Marisa 5.7 to 4.3
7. Dee Jay beats Dhalsim 5.7 to 4.3
7. Dhalsim beats Ed 5.7 to 4.3
Dhalsim is listed 8 times in the 11 worst match ups here, making him hands down the most polarizing character in the game.
He also tends to be at or near the bottom of the list in terms of character popularity, with the ranks of Lily, Blanka and E. Honda. So while he has intense match ups, it’s still fairly rare to run into Dhalsim compared with most of the cast.
Whether you’re on the winning or losing end of the bad match ups here, it’s good information to keep in mind as you play Street Fighter 6, to understand how much of an uphill or downhill run your opponents are facing.
