Perform regular maintenance and repairs on tools and machinery in the tool room.
Inspect tools for any signs of wear and tear and perform necessary repairs or replacements.
Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues and develop solutions to fix them.
Clean and sanitize tools and machinery to prevent contamination and ensure optimal performance.
Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed on tools and machinery.
Collaborate with other team members to provide maintenance support as needed.
Conduct regular safety inspections to identify any potential hazards and take appropriate actions to mitigate risks.
Requirements
Minimum HND/bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, metallurgical engineering, chemical engineering, electrical engineering, or related fields.
A minimum of 5-8 years’ work experience on mold repairs in an Indian company.
Should be good at least one trade in tool room—Lathe machine, Milling or welding.
Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and their components.
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Attention to detail and ability to work with precision.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Ability to lift heavy objects and work in a physically demanding environment.
