About 3 suspected Fulani herdsmen were involved in the raping of a 15-year-old girl to coma in Owukpa, Ogbadibo LGA of Benue state on July 2, 2016.
The raped victim is said to be the daughter of one Mr. James Odoh aka Okito from Efu-Ikeri was on her way to Ankpa from Eche-Ememema Secondary school in Ukalegwu alongside her two other friends when the herdsmen attacked her and rapped her repeatedly.
An eyewitness told benue.com.ng that, after the herdsmen were done with her, they abandoned her in the pool of her blood and fled to the bush.
The girl was rescued by a passerby, who took her to a hospital in Aho Ogbo. Although no arrest has been made so far.
Calabar Reporters later found out that, the raped victim gave up her ghost.
