Of the traditional Shoto characters in Street Fighter 6, Ryu and Ken, it’s generally perceived that Ken is the better of the two. As such, both Rohto|Tokido and BST|Daigo have both gravitated towards Ken Masters as their mains for this season of Street Fighter 6.
Four interesting videos were recently posted on The FGC Place that feature Tokido and Daigo going at it in the Ken mirror match. These two have had quite the friendly rivalry during Street Fighter 5, but which of these two players has the edge as of this moment?
Initially during the videos, Tokido’s MR (Master Rating) has fluctuated between him being the 38th and 79th best player on the CFN leaderboard. Daigo’s MR, while still impressive, is a little lower, marking him to be between the 85th and 94th best player on the leaderboard.
Needless to say, it would appear that Tokido does currently have an edge over Daigo at the moment. Of course, Daigo has been known to score a few notable wins over Tokido in the past, regardless of standings.
However, Daigo’s MR eventually catches up to Tokido’s before actually surpassing him. With the latest video featured in this story, Daigo has been placed as the 40th best player on the CFN.
With all that said, these turn out to be some very interesting matches. Both players clearly understand Ken’s options, resulting in some high-level action.
